Marik was writting her story but stopped when she said her brother tried to kill her. He froze, it instantly thought about that night. His sister, was it a dream? He snapped his head up to look at her, "What?" How was absolutely sure they were fake? "There are no fake parts, I've been telling you the truth so far. What makes you think that?" he said narrowing his eyes a bit. He then noticed something, her eyes, he was pretty sure they weren't red. Who was this girl?

Not only that, but she was catching on to the Millennium Puzzle? No, not the true contents of the piece. That can't be right. "Maybe it's just worth a lot of money. I mean look at it, that's real gold. You'd protect it too if it had a high price on it too," he said. Suddenly, he thought about something, what if somebody stole the puzzle from Yuugi? Then he could win it from the thief and rightfully own it. Would that work? Quite possibly. He would have consult his ancient texts to make sure. He smirked to himself, today was turning out to be a good day afterall. And maybe if he could get this girl interested in him, perhaps she could be the one to do the deed.

He dropped what she said about having a sensitive past, if he could fake it well enough and get somewhat close to her, perhaps he could finally get what he deserves. "Alright, I'll be honest with you for now on," he said forcing a small cool smile. "Why don't we start with the next section?" he said willing to learn more about this girl? [[at the end of Akiko's post are some ideas I listed for what the next part of their paper should be. You can do that or something else.]]

Akiko giggled a little when she heard Renoko's memorable moment. "It's fun being the older sister huh?" she said. She's seen her friends who had siblings boss each other around. Even though they did it to get to one another, they still cared about each other. "Oh yea, I forgot, I'm 17 years old," she added seeing she forgot to mention it. She felt unfocused at the moment- like a heaviness around her. She figured she had to take her medicine soon. "Haha, arch rival? I don't think I have one," she said finding the question completely strange. Why would the teacher care about that? And was that really school appropriate?

"Spirit?" Akiko said with a few blinks, "Like.... ghost?" she added with a nervous smile. She glanced at the puzzle and then back at the paper. That's just silly, ghosts.... Then again, she remember all those really creepy stories about artifacts and mummies were being taken out of tombs and bad things were happening to the people who removed them.

"Memorable moment?" Akiko repeated thinking about what she should say. Sure, there were a lot of things she could think of. But she didn't know what she should say. "Ummm....." she said trailing off really not sure what to tell him. It was awkward telling a stranger your life story. So many memories..... she then looked down and smiled a bit. "I know, when me and my cousin put our band together. We only played a little bit but it was really fun. I mean..... I guess I'll choose that one," she said ending her sentence lowly. There were really fun memories she had but felt they were too dumb to talk about. And then, she had bad and strange memories. She especially thought of the time when she was in the hospital as a child- the situation felt like a dream. To this day she still felt it was a dream rather then reality.

The butterflies in her stomach were getting to her, she was feeling a bit sick. Nerves were acting up a lot, for stupid reasons too. If she knew anybody here, she would be happy to share stories and tell them about herself. But that wasn't the case. To distract herself, she looked to see what was next for discussion. "Interests, talents, past achievements, short description of a family event, and a little bit about your childhood," she said fiddling with her pen from her nerves. That last one was a bit vague. She was certainly was leaving a good chunk of her childhood out of the paper.

Suddenly a girl shouted out, "YOU PERV!!!!" Everyone looked to the source only to see a female student slap Jonouchi's face.

"What!? I thought it would be a relevant question!" Jonouchi said with his hand on his beet red face.

"Bra size is not one of the questions Jonouchi!!!" she shouted at him
PostPosted: Sun May 17, 2009 3:32 am

Jounouchi was such a pervert for asking a girl for her bra size, but that wasn't what she was here to think about.

She met her sister's eye, but the look she found only returned one answer: hunt or be hunted; lure in her prey as if promising sweet candy. Surely there was something that made Marik feel like telling the truth to her. It was only fair to return the favor. "Alright. Although, I must confess to having lied myself. I don't really want a memory of my brother on my record, however. Listen carefully to the true memory burned into my skull the hardest. I was 12 years old back in America. My true arch rival, Justin, hired a gang leader to kill me and my sister. However, he obviously lost since neither of us died. I'm left with two scars on my wrists, two scars on my arms, and one very disgusting one on my back. The pain I felt that day was enough to make me hate this gang leader. His name is Cobra and he is my uncle."

This did not end Lerena's discussion about herself, however. She was only beginning. As she looked over the paper of what he needed to know next, she closed her eyes once more, feeling them change back to their normal purple color. "My interests are horror, writing, literature, poetry, religion, power, psychology, deceit, ancient artifacts, and revenge. Ever since that scar was nearly fatal to my survival, I vowed vengeance on my uncle. It was during my stay in the hospital that I also developed an interest in fortune-telling, meditation, blackmail, and witchcraft. That concludes my interests. I do have more, but I don't care to mention them. You know enough."

Lerena took a few moments to let him finish writing before beginning the next section. "My talents are fairly obvious if you know about the Demonic Sisters. We're famous for being good at manipulation, acting, stealing, setting traps, and detecting liars. I do have some positive talents too which include writing, horror poetry, drama, and advice-giving. That's about it for my talents. I'm good at basically anything that involves the use of a creative mind. Unfortunately, I suck in the physical department and don't get me started when it comes to math."

Again Lerena paused to let Marik finish writing before beginning the next portion of the essay. "Past achievements? Perhaps the factor that I survived a life-threatening attack through my back counts. I have also achieved planning out a novel series from beginning to end, but I'm still working out the holes so it's your choice whether to include that or not. Oh, and I was given a few personality awards from the popular squad back home during 6th grade. I received a freak award, an insane award, and a perfectionist award. I consider the rest degrading and an insult to my well-being. They really hated my guts so most of their awards were given to me to damage my frightening reputation and make me seem more or less like a laughing stock. It worked, but here's what resulted."

"My mother, father, sister, and I all attended group therapy because the principal demanded we see a therapist at once about our 'problem'. Due to Renoko's behavior and mine, our parents were asked to a conference with the principal to discuss the future of our enrollment at the school. Both my mom and dad knew that those girls provoked me and later repeated this to the therapist. Father punched the man in the jaw for suggesting that I had anger management issues and needed a stress ball. At this time, he was a policeman so he had this therapist arrested simply for lying to a police officer. Mother paid for our session, but we didn't last longer than ten minutes in there. That night, we ordered pizza, soft drinks, and bread sticks to calm us all down. My father lost my job as a policeman about a week later and that's when he became a mad scientist bent on studying the human brain. His experiments are quite insane though and most are illegal. I'm surprised he hasn't been arrested in four years." explained Lerena. "This is all true, no matter how ridiculous it all sounds." It was indeed true as her eyes remained purple.

"Finally, to wrap up this batch of questions, I'll tell you more about my childhood. During the last semester of sixth grade, I had to take P.E. At my sister's request, she was placed in the same class as I was, but she was not amused. Everyone who had me on their team was considered cursed by God himself. Everyone tore at my emotions and told me I was far too weak for something like sports. This was because my skin was extremely sensitive back then and bruised easily. As a child, I cried easily as well. No one understood how I could feel pain so easily. They were rough with me, even the girls. Some of the meaner ones called me names and someone even threatened to murder me if they lost because of me. No one cared for me there. My sister was powerless to stop everyone and she hated this. It hurt her to see my tears and the teacher not doing anything about it. After someone was pushing me around in class one day, Renoko revealed that she had brought two pistols to school. Renoko shot everyone there, including the teacher, in order to show them my pain and suffering. This did have some serious side effects to my personality which I won't mention. Now you know why I hate Yuugi; because he's able to make friends so easily. Ever since that day, Renoko has refused to let me get close to anyone. I've always envied those who could get close to others without being hurt." Lerena continued to explain, but slowly enough for Marik to get it all down. She also seemed to be recalling these memories as if they were a detailed nightmare.

After he finished writing this time, she nodded. "I just answered all those questions. It may be tedious to write all this down, but at least you'll get a high grade. Come to think of it, I think that's all the assignment unless you want to have an extra paragraph to hear about the Demonic Sisters." She doubted he'd care to listen to another long explanation. Talking about her past was hardly boring though so she would hope that Marik stayed interested enough not to be mad at her. "Don't make the mistake of thinking my past is highlighted by only these events. There were some positive ones as well. I just like talking about the depressing ones, because life isn't all about happiness and shine." she explained. "But I don't feel like boring you with any more details. You're finished with the assignment except for revising and editing. I still have to get the rest of your information."

"And he wonders why I didn't let him handle the chemicals." said Renoko with a sigh.

Renoko told Akiko much of the same information as Lerena had told Marik, only she mentioned the origin of the Demonic Sisters as another memorable memory. "After the incident, Mother and Father placed my sister and I in a private school. The people here were much more mature, but my sister and I had lost our innocence do to the intensity of the blood pouring out of everyone's wounds previously. In order for my sister to catch a glimmer of happiness and hope, I gave her the idea of the Demonic Sisters. She was hesitant at first, almost afraid of me. She was so nervous trying to make sure I didn't pull out a gun on her that she couldn't open the doorknob to run out of the room. After my father's conditioning, she started to associate security and friendship with me again. I'm always afraid of losing her so I've become a tad bit protective over the years making sure she only wanted to be with me and not get hurt by anyone else." Renoko explained. She was kind of heartbroken remembering that the sister she knew now could just as easily become afraid of her again.

Atemu face-palmed. His best friend picked a bad time to ask for someone's bra size.

Renoko and Lerena truly had a past like this? It was worse than he realized. In fact, he had trouble not walking over to Lerena and trying to help her overcome her hatred of him. Even someone as obnoxious as Lerena deserved to be accepted. It was a lot easier to understand why she could be jealous now, but it seemed she had developed a sense of paranoia after that incident. Renoko's father did not seem that mad to him if he was willing to condition his own daughter back to normal. "Alright. I'm interested in card games, especially Duel Monsters. Really, I like just about any game though. I also enjoy history, Renoko. My main talent is dueling and keeping the peace between Jounouchi and Honda whenever Anzu isn't around." he explained.

"Um, a childhood event? Well, this will have to do. Last year, Jounouchi had taken a piece of my puzzle and threw it into the pool. Later, a bully was bullying Jounouchi and Honda. I couldn't stand to see someone bullied, so I got in front of them and spread my arms out wide. I told him not to hurt my friends." added Atemu. "Jounouchi and Honda was so thankful that I protected them that they retrieved my last puzzle piece from the pool. We became friends shortly after that and have been ever since. I was also the first one to complete this puzzle since forever ago. You can consider that an achievement. I won Pegasus's tournament on Duelist Kingdom and became King of Games. I'm at a loss for what family event I should describe though. The two of you seem to have decided one already. I feel kind of left out for once. Well, I suppose you can say when my grandpa gave me the puzzle he dug up from his archeology trip."

Akiko kinda laughed out loud when Jonouchi was yelled at. She stopped and blushed, thinking her humor was inappropriate. She couldn't help it, she had a strange sense of humor.

At one point Akiko was just staring at Renoko rather then writing. This.... couldn't be real right? Holy s**t..... her mind felt blown from all of this information. And she thought she had a rough life, it was nothing compared to her's and her sister's. She could understand being picked on, and that she wanted to help her sister, but a gun? Jesus christ, was that really the answer? She was torn inbetween understanding why and being completely against her actions. Who was right in the end? Did she kill anyone? No, killing someone wasn't the answer- revenge wasn't the answer. But still, it was very sad. She wouldn't mind being her friend. She felt she was easy to get along with so it wouldn't be that hard. She would even be friends with Renoko- no problem. The only problem she had herself was that it took her some time before she got really close with someone. Akiko wasn't very good at making friends when she was younger but after her two best friends became close with her, she found that if she opened up people were attracted to her personality.

When Renoko spoke about Lerena's scars, she turned a bit pale. She too had marks on her back, a different situation but still emotional to her. And they weren't scars, rather, cigarette marks. But nobody except her mother knows, the marks were always covered. Her story and her own past were making Akiko feel horribly anxious and panicky.

She was so into the story and her thoughts that the pen slid right out of her hands and onto the desk. That snapped her back into reality. She scrambled for the pen and looked away from her, "I'm sorry for your and your sister's predicament." She just felt like she had to apologize even though she obviously never did anything. It was a normal reaction she had- to just say sorry. She continued writing down her story. "Are you..... sure you want me to write this down?" she asked.

Was this, real? And if so, why was she being so truthful? Because he said he would be? He was just bluffing. Now he felt compelled to tell her his real past. But would she understand? Oh what did he care about what others thought?! But he was concerned about revealing his plans.

He shouldn't feel like he owed her anything! Just because she was open about herself didn't mean he had to. Since when did he play fair? Damn it. It bothered him that he even had to think about it. It was like he cared. So she had a shitty life- it didn't affect him in the least. And yet it got to him. He wasn't all up in tears, but he did think about it. And when he continually thought about something- that meant it was important. He just wasn't used to caring. He cared about himself, his sister, and Odion ((that's his name right? Total brain fart right now X.x )). That was his world, that was his concern. He never experienced care for someone he didn't know. And it angered him inside. It made him week. But it was because both he and she had the same outlook on life.

"Are you sure you want this all written down?" he said in a serious tone, for the first time sounding somewhat concerned. He had a feeling, like it was a bad idea to write it down. As if this was information that could be used against her. That actually slipped, he didn't mean to really say that. Oh well, what was said was said.

Marik took note about why she hated Yuugi. He looked up from writing, "Your not missing anything. Friends aren't all that they are cut out to be. You don't need them. Getting close to people will only bring you down." He felt compelled to raise his opinion about the matter. He lived his life without any friends. Sure, he was close to Odion, but he was his watcher after all. It was his job to be close to him. And his sister already proved to bring him down- disapproving of his motives and actions.

"Alright, then this is my story. I'm sorry it's not as lengthy or rich in story. You'll probably find it out right boring," he said smoothly. Just because she had a bad past didn't mean he still wasn't going through with his plan. As long as it was aloud in the scriptures, he was going to get close to her, manipulate her, and get her to take Yuugi's item. Shouldn't be too hard, she already hated the kid. "I was born into a family of tomb-keepers. Those who believe that by waiting in a tomb their whole life that the Pharaoh's spirit will return. I knew from an early age it was a load of crap," he began to talk. He made sure not to say it too loud, he would be completely screwed if Yuugi heard. His voice was low enough so he couldn't hear, but Lerena could. "At age 10, they decided it was time to pass down the 'family secrets' to me. I technically can't tell you any more about it, sorry," he said refusing to tell her anything of the sort.

"My life was basically one sheltered uneventful life. I did nothing, I never saw the outside, I never played with anybody, I never lived. Until I was 11, my sister took me out to a nearby village and market. I had no idea I was missing out on so much. That was was being hidden away. Ishizu felt my pain thus she tried to alleviate that pain," he said then stopped. "Ishizu is my sister by the way. She still lives in Egypt," he added. He didn't bother mentioning Odion, she wouldn't understand. "Anyway, on my return my father beet me for leaving the tomb," Marik said then stopped. He didn't remember the next part, except that he found his father dead. It wasn't technically a lie if he didn't remember why. "Later that night, he died of heart failure of some sort. A heart attack perhaps? I don't really remember all that well, I was young," he told her. This time, he sounded quite believable.

"When I was old enough to leave, I left. My sister did not believe it was the right thing to do but I did it anyway. I'm here now, living my own life. And that's about it," he ended his life story. He left out so much- about the Pharaoh, about his plans, about the Millennium Items. But would anybody really believe that? No. And even if they did, he didn't want anyone to know.

He waited for her to finish writing and continued, "I have interests even though I was kept away from so much. I have a big interest in motorcycles for one thing. I also enjoy philosophy, literature, astrology, and some morbid poetry. I also have some interest in ancient artifacts- after all, I used to hear about them all the time." He waited then continued, "Unlike you however, I don't have an interest in fortune telling and religon. I find it, hum bug really. And yet, witchcraft, no, perhaps magic is a better word? Anyway, it's rather interesting."

"Talents?" he said an paused. Surely he couldn't say taking over people's minds. "You could say I'm good at organizing plans. Mechanics would be another talent," he said ending that section rather quick. "Past achievement would be finding a way to live by myself. It did prove rather hard," he said lying about the last part. For him it was easy, he found someone who was rich, sent them to the shadow realm, stole their money, found someone who lived alone, sent his soul to the shadow realm but kept him around to take care of paying bills and other tedious things. The man was his soul puppet that he controlled at all times.

"Well, that's about it for me. You should get a good grade regardless that my life hasn't been all that eventful," he said sitting back in his seat and crossing his arms. Suddenly, the bell rang and class ended. "Perfect timing," he said with a smirk, "Good luck with the paper. Seems it's due sometime this week. That should give you some time to edit and add some filler if you want." He stood up and grabbed his books, "Well, see ya," he said trying to be pleasant so he could get close to her.

Akiko continued to write even after Renoko was done speaking. There was a lot of info. It was weird she was so open about the situation though. Akiko's situation wasn't as bad and she couldn't even bring herself to talk about it. Not even the good parts. She felt like a jerk if she only choose to talk about the good times, but felt like a drama queen if she spoke about the bad times. Damn it! This assignment sucked! She felt like this was a therapy session- talking to some strange about herself. She hated it! She didn't know these people. She listened in on Yuugi's explanation of himself. Seemed relatively normal. She was only in and out of the conversation though since she was concentrating on getting everything Renoko said. However, she heard that he liked games. That was cool, so did she. But she didn't get the chance to comment.

It came down to her explaining about herself when the bell rang. "Over already?" she whispered to herself. Wait, that meant she was off the hook! She practically jumped up and grabbed her things. She wasn't being mean or anything, but she kinda forgot the fact that if she didn't tell this kid her story he could fail. Well, s**t, it was difficult getting three stories in instead of two. She didn't say anything to him, her nerves were shot and she just needed to get out. Not to mention, she needed to get to her locker and take her medicine. Keeping it there was a bad idea, she should have kept it with her on hand. But she was still adjusting to a new schedule. Among other things, Akiko has an iron deficiency. It explained the bruises on her legs- the deficiency made it so she could be easily bruised. She new she was over due for one since she felt dizzy and couldn't concentrate. She was just about out the door.

"Well I'm done," Jonouchi said as he walked up to Yuugi and stretched a bit. "Thank god this isn't due right now, I would never be able to finish it," he said. He had to edit his a lot since he took messy notes. Jonouchi was ok at writing, if he put his mind to it he could do it. But he didn't like doing that a lot. "Despite her refusal in certain information, I think we both got some good papers," he added leaning on Yuugi's shoulder playfully. "You done?" he asked.

[[lol somebody's paper is going to suck big time XD I am going to have her talk about it later but I felt she would be too overwhelmed by Renoko's story to talk about herself right now. Akiko is actually a lot like Lerena. When I read her story I kept thinking about the things I was going to do with Akiko XD. I'm also making her kinda of a sickly person because if I do choose to bring in a Millennium item, it's going to cure her of a lot of things. Her item never really had a power in past RPs, I figured that would be a cool one. But more about that at another time.

haha, I'm going to have Akiko hide behind the bleachers during gym class XD. She likes being active but today isn't going well for her emotionally. Oh and when she finds out about Japanese gym clothes- that's not going to put her in a good mood XD

PS: I changed Marik's text color. I don't like the dark violet anymore -.-]]

((Finally, I've looked forward to this. Renoko is the most troublesome in P.E. but Lerena is just as bad in Geometry. You may find that Renoko is more aware of things than Lerena is.))

"Please be absent, please be absent, please be absent..." the teacher prayed. She didn't want Lerena or Renoko in class that day, because of what they did to her precious sons. She was scared of them, but she had to be a teacher. If she brought personal matters into class, it would prove to be an issue. When both girls walked in, she held back a scream. Ever since a day ago, she had been put on medication for her anxiety. She walked into her office and took it.

Lerena smirked as she saw the teacher run into her office. "This is where the fun begins, Renoko." she said.

Renoko nodded, pulling Lerena closer so she could whisper into her ear. "Be wary of Yuugi, Lerena. I suspect a spirit may be inhabiting that puzzle. We'll discuss this later, but it involves something called the Millennium Items. I'm getting Father on it."

"I look forward to further discussion, dear Sister." replied Lerena. "I spilled my entire history to Marik. Is this really alright?"

"Lerena, Renoko, it's a pleasure to have you in class today. I trust you'll actually 'do' something today?" she said with a nervous laugh.

When her conversation with Renoko was interrupted by the teacher, she glared into the teacher's eyes. "Look, woman. I do what I want when I want and you aren't worth my damn time. Come on Renoko. We have to change." She walked into the woman's bathroom. "Look, everyone, Renoko and I are having a discussion in the stalls. Anyone who dares go in there or interrupt us will be severely punished, got it?"

Most girls nodded in fear, but some of the more stronger girls who couldn't care less what they discussed glared at them for taking the stalls.

She walked into a stall with Renoko picking the one beside it and listened to her reply.

"We do what's necessary to get what we want, Sister. I heard what you said about being jealous of Yuugi. Pay him no mind, dear Sister, for he is worthless. If it wasn't for that puzzle, I'd be just as cruel to him as you are. Men are nothing to be jealous of, really. And you need no friends, because you have me. Our family is the most important thing to us, but on to more important matters. Lerena, I suspect that Marik is hiding something, be it a grudge or a secret." Renoko said changing into her black booty shorts with a casual lilac T-shirt. "If he thinks I didn't notice the hate in his eyes when he first stared at Yuugi, he's wrong."

"I think he went one step past you, Renoko. He doesn't seem to remember what truly happened to his father, but that's something a murderer says. Since he was ten when his father died, there's no telling what his mind could've caused him to forget so he could live a normal life." replied Lerena. She changed into a dark green T-shirt with black booty shorts. "If I didn't say any better, his father was a bad person."

"All men are bad people, except for the ones residing in our family. Oh, with Cobra as an exception of course. No one can be as wicked as Cobra. He killed his own daughter to prove his loyalty to his gang. Anyone with half a brain would be able to see that his gang hated her for softening his heart." Renoko leaned against the back of the bathroom stall, Lerena doing the same. They were only separated by a thin wall between them. "Are you interested in Marik?" she asked. "Simply because of his past? And the possibility he sugar-coated it?"

She glared at the wall in front of her and sighed. "I don't know. My feelings are mixed. I've never truly been in love since Kiba. He was a traitor though. How could I like someone who was manipulating me the entire time?"

She snickered. "So you lied to Marik as well, Lerena. You left out the part about Kiba leaving you to suffer. I'm not sure if you remember that incident, but I remember it well. That hate in your eyes on that day caused my sisterly instincts to kick in. Ever since I protected you back then, we've been friends. You didn't even tell him that I wanted to kill you once before. You truly do know how to condense your past into only what's needed. Let's go. Perhaps we can actually walk some laps today. We can talk while we're walking, you know."

"Oh, sister? Marik mentioned something about liking magic. You know, I wanted to say I was interested in magic myself, but...I thought I would sound stupid." she walked out of the bathroom stall. "Okay, girls, Renoko and I are finished." she said with a cruel smile. They walked out of the locker room and walked to their teacher's office. "Let's get this straight, woman. Renoko and I have decided to walk some laps today, but once we're tired, we're going to stop. Do you understand?"

"Y-yes, girls. Understood." she said nervously. "You may get started. Do as many as you like, but the other students are doing ten." explained the teacher.

"I trust you are keeping quiet to the authorities?" said Renoko with a smirk.

"Y-y-yes, Renoko. I'm keeping quiet." the teacher said nervously. "You may get started now."

"Good. To reward you, we might actually participate in class. However, should you tell a soul, your sons will be severely hurt. Good day." Lerena said walking out of the room.

"Did you get all his information down?"

Lerena nodded. "We've got the teacher at our every whim. She's keeping quiet. You're right about her sons being her life." she said with a smirk.

"Why, of course dear Sister." They began their laps around the gym. "Do you know? I aimed to kill every single one of them back then. His murder is nothing compared to a massacre."

She snickered. "I'm glad that Kiba betrayed me. If he hadn't, I'd be so weak as to fall in love again quite easily."

"But you've still been interested in those who hold a grudge, my dear sister. That's where your weakness lies: those who understand hate as much as you. Don't be deceived, Sister. All men want one thing from a girl and think only about themselves. They're so selfish that they'll get you to do anything for them. Once you're no longer useful to a man, they'll toss you aside like dirt. Even if a man's charming, they are still using you for their own gain." explained Renoko. "And there are some girls who have been deceived so much by guys that they're easily swept off their feet. My dear sister, most women are blind to a man's true motives. Don't be one of them."

"Heh, I don't fall in love easily, but I won't lie; I'm interested"

"Interest for you could even develop into love. Be on the lookout for anything suspicious." Renoko noticed Atemu walk out of the locker room. "Quick, change the subject." she ordered.

Atemu wanted to keep an eye on the Demonic Sisters, so he changed quickly into some navy blue sweatpants, tena shoes, and a casual white T-shirt. As he walked out, he thought he heard Renoko mention something about men. His eyes widened. Could Renoko be sexist? But she seemed so defenseless when he mentioned Kaiba. He walked behind them and listened in on their conversation, but didn't say a word. Jounouchi would be out soon so he'd have a reasonable distraction. He could discuss the possibility of Renoko being sexist with him and how she reacted when he brought up Kaiba's name. Although, he was also interested in what Jounouchi said his interests were to that girl. Surely he mentioned he enjoyed porn. That would be disturbing to tell a girl who wasn't interested in perverts. Then again, Jounouchi never did have much skill in dealing with women.

"What did your horoscope say for today?" asked Renoko on a less serious scale.

"A bunch of bullshit. It said I'd take notice of someone for the first time today, suggesting that I'll form a crush. It said I should also talk it out with the person if it makes me nervous. The horoscope even said I might form a friendship if I do. Disgusting. Truly it is." said Lerena. "It said I'd develop a crush! Can you believe that?!"

"I have my suspicions that Marik is your type, unfortunately." said Renoko softly. "He might be the person your horoscope was talking about."

She cackled briefly. "Oh, you're joking, right?"

Renoko held onto Lerena's arm. "Lerena, I'm serious. You may not be aware of it, but the signs are there. He's suffered, understands hate, the two of you have similar interests, and you both hate Yuugi. And he has good looks. He may even have the cash."

"Renoko, our family is already rich. I don't care if he has cash. And fine, he has looks. Whatever. Do you base your interest on relationships in money and appearance all the time?" she asked.

"And intelligence. My lover has to be intelligent. He must also be good at cooking. If he has a crappy job, I don't want him either. His job has to pay a lot, because honestly, what good is someone if his job doesn't appreciate his skills? My guy must also place family members above all things. I don't want someone who neglects his family. What do you look for in a guy, Lerena?" she asked.

"Decent appearance, creativity, jealousy, power, loyalty, a dedication to his family, and a harsh past. Oh, and I'm looking for a Capricorn. Apparently Taurus and Capricorn have good compatibility. What else do I look for in a guy? Authority. Bonus points if the guy can cook, enjoys morbid poetry, has good looks, can fix my car, has a good fashion sense, and has a lot of cash. If he spends too much time working, I don't want him though. That's my concern with rich people. They're always working." Lerena explained in great detail.

"Oh, oh, I see how it is. You criticize me for basing my interest in a guy on looks, money, and intelligence, and you have looks and money down in the 'extra points' category. Maybe you're more shallow than you realize." she joked with a smirk. "You can't learn to fix your own car?" she asked.

"Uh, no. You expect me to fix a car when I can't even remember the parts to a car?" she asked with a sigh.

He sighed himself. Apparently, even with their past of pain and suffering, they still liked talking about guys. Renoko seemed the most shallow, but everything she defined seem to fit Kaiba.

"I'm tired of walking already." said Lerena with a sigh.

"Oh, right. We've only done about a lap, Sister. At least put forth a little more effort than that." requested Renoko. "Besides, you have me to share the torture with."

"Right." she looked back at Atemu who was behind them. "Say, do you think the Douchebag back there is eavesdropping on us?"

Atemu let out a rough sigh and glared at Lerena when she commented on what he was doing.

"Oh?! Are you giving me attitude?!" asked Lerena angrily. "Because this one of the worst classes to give me attitude!"

"She's right, you know." said Renoko. "You might want to back off."

"I think it is Lerena who should back off. I have done nothing to her." he pointed out as the three of them ceased walking.

"I should back off? You have no idea who you're dealing with. You best learn where you stand before I grab that puzzle and rip it from your neck!" she threatened.

"Lerena, be careful. You may be above him, but like I said, there's something strange about him. Don't challenge him until you are equipped with the right power!"

"The right power? Are you saying I'm weaker than he is?" asked Lerena.

Atemu put a hand on the Millennium Puzzle and smirked at her. "Perhaps you should learn who you are dealing with before you pick a fight with me."

She raised an eyebrow, then took notice that he placed his hands on the puzzle. This symbolized a confession to her thanks to the information her sister said. "You're the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle. I know who you are. What are you the spirit of?" she asked raising an eyebrow.

Great. He didn't know the answer to that question. "I don't remember." he said with a sigh. "I don't even remember my name...I remember nothing about my past." he said sadly.

A cruel smirk appeared on Lerena's face. "Then hopefully you will never remember. Say, is Yuugi aware of your existence? Perhaps I should tell him that he has a second personality and he should watch himself more closely." she said sarcastically. Her arms crossed as she stood there staring at him. Students walking out of the locker room knew not to intervene in a fight against the Demonic Sisters. The only person she was worried about was Akiko. She didn't want to cause a potential friend pain just because she didn't understand how things were around here.

The teacher wanted to intervene in what looked like a fight about to begin, but she was afraid of what Lerena and Renoko would do if she did so. She only preyed that Yuugi would win this fight and teach them to be better people.

"Look, don't cause a scene while we're at school. We can settle the score after classes have ended for the day. I don't know how the two of you found out about the Millennium Items, but don't get involved with things you two don't understand." he advised and walked past them.

"Don't understand?! Same for you!" Lerena advised right back.

"The power of the Millennium Puzzle cannot beat the bond I share with my sister. The bond you share with your friends is nowhere near strong enough either, Yuugi. Yuugi Mutou, you duel, right? I challenge you to a duel after school. If you lose, I get your Millennium Puzzle. However, if you win, I'll leave you and your friends alone. Do we have a deal?"

"Renoko, I will accept your duel. However, the terms on which we duel are to be this. You and your sister will cease the torment you cause to others, not just to me or my friends." said Atemu. "And I wish to duel both of you at once."

"Fine. Both me and my sister agree to those terms. However, that Millennium Puzzle will be ours, so get ready to lose the item most precious to you, Yuugi. After all, Renoko and I are a team and you just decreased your chances of winning."

"Oh, don't worry. Yuugi and I are a team as well. I will end the Demonic Sisters for good!" remarked Atemu.

Akiko got to her locker and took her medicine. She also put her books away and sighed a little- remembering she didn't stay long enough to help that kid with his report. Oh well, maybe she would just write one for him or something. She looked back at the class room. For some reason she was expecting him to chase after her asking what he should do. Oh well, maybe he doesn't care? Well if he doesn't care then she figured she didn't have to help him. He can just make up something. Strangely enough she felt disappointed and annoyed. She didn't feel accepted here.

She shut her locker and went to gym class. Maybe she could work off some stress doing something in PE. She entered in to see the girls teacher in the locker room.

"Oh you must be the new student," the teacher said relieved to have her attention swayed away from the Demonic Sisters for a few moments. "This is your gym outfit, just get changed and meet the class at the gym floor," she said.

"Ok," Akiko said taking a white t-shirt and...... "Wait what's this?" She pointed at what seemed to be black booty shorts.

"Those are your gym shorts," she answered.

"No no no, shorts don't go up that high. THESE look like underwear," she said narrowing one eye. This woman was crazy if she thought she would wear these things.

"Well, in this school and every other school in Japan, these are the gym shorts," she said. She really didn't want to deal with this. Not now. She had other things to worry about.

Akiko paused for a few seconds and just stared at the woman. "I'm not wearing these- this is sexist," she said simply.

"Akiko, you're going to wear them," she said getting anxious and annoyed.

"Nope, not going to," she replied.

"Listen, if you don't wear them I'm giving you a zero for the day ok?" she said.

Akiko growled. She walked away, accepting she had to do this. "This is ridiculous. I might as well just go in my star patterned underwear," she said outloud to herself. Some of the other girls just looked at her, others giggled at her statement. At this point she didn't care. She took the locker that she was given and put her bag inside. She got changed, being sure to be as alone as possible. She kept her back to the wall and changed quickly so nobody saw anything. And nobody did. Once changed she put her clothes in her locker, took out her mp3 player and cell phone, and locked her locker. She looked at herself in the mirror. There was a hude greenish bruise on her hip- it was green because it was starting to heal. "People are going to think I'm beaten or something," she whispered to herself.

She left the locker room, not even seeing Lerena and Renoko nor hearing them. She saw the group forming on the gym floor. She couldn't go out like this, it was so wrong! She peeked around for the teacher. She didn't see her. So she walked calmly across the gym floor, hoping nobody saw her. Taking another look around, she hid behind the bleachers. She used to do this at her old school when she didn't feel like participating. As she got older, she lessened her trips to them though. She didn't mind exercising and doing activities, it gave her an excuse to run around like an idiot and not be made fun of. Not that that was a big deal once she was older. Akiko put her earphones in and starting play some music to calm her. Let's see, what should it be? She was too anxious to listen to something calm, perhaps something upbeat? She switched to the song 'Move' by Thousand Foot Krutch. She laid her head back and tried to relax.

Jonouchi finished changing and sat on the gym floor waiting for Yuugi. Huh, he wasn't there. That was weird. The class was told what to do and where to go. Since he didn't see Yuugi inside, perhaps he was already outside? Was he doing the track today? He started to walk out the door when something caught his eye behind the bleachers. "Oi," he said seeing it was that new girl, "What are you doing there?"

Akiko shot her head up as she heard someone's voice. She pulled the earphones out and put her finger up to her mouth as she shuushed him. "Shhhh! Be quiet!" she whispered and demanded.

"Why?" he asked.

"Because!" she said in the same tone of voice. Was this kid not going to leaver her alone? "Either leave or get in here!" she added. If he hung around that area she could get caught.

Jonouchi shrugged and sat inside next to her. "Well? Why are you sitting here?" he asked curiously.

Akiko looked away and shrugged, "I don't want to participate today, that's all." She looked down at the ground. Her hands kept trying to pull down her shirt to cover herself. She felt so naked.

"Nah, that can't be it. You seem like a goody-two-shoes to me," he said trying to joke with her. Jonouchi may not be the sharpest tool in the garage, but he was pretty good at telling when something was bothering someone. He also had a half way decent sense of judgment in people.

"G-goody-two-shoes?" she said half shocked and half amused. "You've been in, like, two classes with me so far and you think that?" she said with a small giggle. She knew he wasn't being a jerk about things. It was nice to actually have someone talk to her without being forced to.

"I'm just saying, you don't look like the type to cut class," he added.

"Nah, I really don't cut a lot. Just...." she said but stopped, "I dunno, having a mentally rough day." She said with a smile and a roll of her eyes. Like he would understand.

"Well you know what the cure is for that? Adrenaline. And in order to do that, you gotta be moving around," he said referring to her participating. She seemed sad, and he didn't like seeing girls sad. Despite him being a perv, in a way he was also a gentleman. Too bad the pervertedness usually prevailed over. He grabbed her wrist, "Come on, let's go."

"Wait what?! N-no!" she said pulling back in refusal. "It, it's ok! Really! I can't just relax sitting here!" Of course, he was a lot more stronger then her so her resistance was for none. But did he have to be so rough. "Ow ow! Stop! You're squeezing too hard!" she pleaded.

Physical education had to be the worse idea ever. Why did he have to even participate? He was already in shape- very good shape. He sat behind the bleachers outside- not really hiding but he wanted to be shaded. He was already tan, he didn't want to get any darker. He sat there in his grey t-shirt and black sweat pants that all the boys had to wear (or short, but he choose the pant) reading his book as usual. But it was by luck that he heard the conversation between Lerena, Renoko, and Yuugi. Or rather, the Pharaoh. He was hidden from them, but they stopped right near him so he could easily hear. He should have checked his horoscope today, it must really be lucky for him. It was like he didn't have to do anything to get them to get his puzzle. The only thing he worried about was if they could defeat him. He felt that they couldn't- not because they were week but because the Pharaoh really was powerful. They had no idea of the power he had, or could have. Marik wished that they would steal it instead of challenging him. But perhaps if they lost, they would understand the intensity of this matter. And maybe it would drive them more to achieve the piece. All he had to focus on now was making an impression on Lerena. Sadly, he didn't hear them talking about him before.

((I can't think of anything for Atemu until Jounouchi sparks a conversation with him.))

Unfortunately, the Demonic Sisters didn't realize that Marik could listen in on their conversation from where they were standing. He was being far too quiet. Renoko watched Atemu walk away and she noticed the look on her sister's face. "What's wrong?" she asked.

She crossed her arms. "Are you crazy?! I can't duel HIM. He beat Seto Kaiba!" she hissed.

"Look, I have a plan. Yuugi has lost Exodia since his duel against Kaiba. Besides, do you doubt our bond?"

"Yuugi asked for a duel with me hoping that my inexperience would help him win! I know he did! That douchebag!"

"Calm down, Lerena. With the decks I've created for us to use, we can beat him. Don't tell anyone, but I have banned cards in these decks." she whispered.

"Direct damage?"

"SHHHHH, keep it down. Yes. Your deck is built on direct damage while my deck focuses on deck destruction and hand destruction." she whispered.

"If we lose that duel, we'll have to cease our terror on everyone...and I'll be weak again." said Lerena sadly.

"So? We have to listen to that douchebag? And who says we're going to lose? Quit being so afraid of failure. It's virtually impossible for even the King of Games to beat us. Now, what should we do with the puzzle once we win it off him? I was thinking you could give to M---"

Lerena glared at her. "Damnit, no!" she interrupted angrily. "What the hell is your problem?!"

She snickered. "It's not like we have a use for it. Besides, the Millennium Puzzle doesn't look good on either of us. It's such a stupid accessory, but it might look good on him."

For a moment, Lerena was visualizing Marik wearing the Millennium Puzzle and her cheeks flushed red. "Uh, right. Well, I don't care who looks good in what, we're keeping the damn thing."

"We really need a mirror so you can see your face."

"Damnit, no! Am I blushing?! I hate blushing! UGH."

Renoko snickered. "Oh, yes. It's going away now though. I don't care how powerful something is if it doesn't look good on me. I'd much rather have something like the Millennium Rod so I could control other people."

"Right and we don't already influence people against their will." Lerena said sarcastically.

"Look, just admit it. Control is attractive and you want a man who has it."

"Oh, yea? Just admit that you still like Kaiba!" said Lerena.

Renoko turned red. "I love no one!" she replied stubbornly. "I was just joking with you, Lerena. You don't have to turn the tables."

She sighed. "Yea? Well, maybe you're right. Maybe control is attractive to me."

"You did mention you wanted a man with power earlier. What else would you like?"

"Do I dare repeat myself?" said Lerena sarcastically.

"Didn't you mention when you were like 11 that you thought a guy with a split personality would be pretty hot?" she asked.

"Hell if I know. You remember something from that long ago?" asked Lerena.

"Yes, because it was funny! Split personalities tend to be evil you know. And murderous. Our grandfather suffered from a split personality and he almost skinned Dad alive."

"That was more out of hatred though and he started to actually like Father when he was able to lock away grandfather's split personality." said Lerena. "Split personalities don't just murder someone without a reason."

"I want a split personality. I think it would be really awesome." said Renoko with a smirk.

"No, it wouldn't. You'd forget things at random intervals and..." Lerena stopped talking. "Wait a minute...are you saying?"

Renoko smirked. "Well, it's just a thought. Some people don't have protection like you do so they develop split personalities to protect themselves."

"Was that a real discussion or one full of symbolism?" asked Lerena. "Who are we talking about here? Grandfather or..."

"You know who I'm talking about. Although, it's not like knowing another murderer is a bad thing. Look at Cobra."

"Cobra IS a bad person. He murders someone random on the street if he gets bored! How evil is that?!" she asked. "And he killed his own flesh and blood too!"

"Perhaps, but who'd want a father like Cobra anyway? Who wants a father who would only end up abusing you?"

"Yea. Cobra believes that the Helena family has a secret, a prophecy that we're here to fulfill. God, he's stupid. I heard him talking to Jasmine about it shortly before she died. What?! Renoko, what have you been reading?" she asked.

"Shhh! Quieter." she looked out of the corner of her eye, but forgot to check the other. "Some Egyptian tribes believe in burning their family secrets into someone's back. I believe Cobra picked up on that tradition and would've used it on Jasmine to keep his leadership in his gang. She preferred death over going through that, so..."

"Errr...are we actually talking about Jasmine here? Have you been doing a serious amount of eavesdropping?" she asked Renoko.

"Back when Cobra was still considered apart of the family, he used to tell me a lot about Egypt, and well, some of what he knew was found by obtaining illegal documents. Father has also obtained a lot of illegal documents from Egypt since then, but also from America too. Lerena, now we're just talking about one person." she said with a smile.

"You disturb me." Lerena said sarcastically, though she didn't really mean it.

"Father has done a lot of illegal research, and believe me, he may have found the jackpot." she said with a smile. "Of course, Father refused to tell me what he was doing. He said it was a surprise. I want to see if it's possible that he can create new Millennium Items. I can bring the sacrifices, the both of us can."

She smirked. "How do you find out this information?" she asked.

"Let's see...I read a lot, I eavesdrop a lot, I blackmail a lot, oh and my most favorite one, I manipulate people."

"Haha! Manipulation is fun."

"I agree. So, what else did you learn about him? I want to see if there's anything else he tried leaving out that I could find the juice in."

Lerena laughed. "You're mean. Well, his family are tomb-keepers that believe that the Pharaoh's spirit is going to come back from the dead, but he says that's a load of garbage."

"So? What if the Pharaoh's spirit did return? What if he inhabits the Millennium Puzzle? After all, he's a spirit. If Marik's family is waiting for the Pharaoh to return, who's willing to bet he guards the Pharaoh's memories? I'm not sure if Marik's family believes in burning secrets into anyone's flesh like Cobra intended to do to Jasmine, but..."

"So you're saying that the 'family secrets' he was referring to contains the secret to the Pharaoh's memories? Well, if his life was really uneventful like he says, it's no wonder he hates the Pharaoh. I would too if that happened to me."

Renoko glared at her. "You 'would'? You hate him now, don't you?" she asked clinging to Lerena's arm.

"Well, yea, if the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle is really the Pharaoh that Marik's family wanted to return. I mean, he was TEN, Renoko. Who passes down any family secret to a TEN year old by burning it into their skin?"

"Yea, duh. That's kind of sickening to think about." she let go of Lerena's arm. "You need to learn to read in between the lines like I do. And you should hate the Pharaoh as much as I do. It won't be fun crushing him if you don't hate him."

"I DO hate him! I hate his guts and I want him to die!" answered Lerena. "And is it a bad thing that I also hate him for what he did to Marik?"

Renoko glared. "Well, fine. You can hate him for that too, but remember the prime reason we need him out of our way. If the Pharaoh has what it takes to stop us, we need that Millennium Puzzle so he's left powerless. And Lerena, be careful what you say! Marik could be dangerous. After all, we don't know what he's capable of either. He could be trying to manipulate you into giving him something. After all, wouldn't it be just our luck if we met our match?"

Lerena felt her head. "I have a headache. Anyway, continue."

"I read Capricorn's horoscope today. Want to know what it said?"

"Oh, really? Sure! Tell me."

"Okay. It said, 'You may find everything going your way today, but you might also find yourself caring about things you never have before. If this disturbs you, try talking to someone close to you about the issue.'"

She laughed. "What was yours?" she asked.

"I recite this word for word, 'Dear Scorpio, you may find yourself being a bit overprotective today. Let your loved ones know how much they are appreciated. Luck is also on your side today so don't be afraid to use your scorpion's sting.'"

"Haha! Mine was stupid. It said I'd fall in love." she said rolling her eyes. "So, did you tell Dad his horoscope?"

"He agreed that he was getting everything he wanted today. Why do you want to go out with a Capricorn? I find the Pisces to be more interesting and the occasional Scorpio too." said Renoko with a smirk.

"Did you miss something about compatibility here?" Lerena reminded her sarcastically.

"What would you do if you found out Marik was a Capricorn?" asked Renoko.

"I'd kill myself." said Lerena sarcastically. "To be honest, I'm not sure what I'd really do." she added.

"I think you should ask him what his sign is and see what happens." joked Renoko.

"Uh, no. What, you think I'm crazy? That's a pick-up line!"

"That's not my fault! I didn't make it one." Renoko retorted.

"Let's choose a topic BESIDES Marik." said Lerena.

"Oh, come on. He sounds so much like your type."

"He does not! First, you criticize me and tell me to be careful because Marik might be dangerous. Second, you start finding the holes in what he tried to leave out. Third, you're trying to get me interested in him?"

"Tch, no. I'm just messing around." Renoko retorted again. "But your blush showed your interest." she said resting her elbow on her arm and putting a finger to her cheek.

"Interest? Oh, hell no. We are not getting back on this subject. I am not falling in love with someone that I've only known TWO hours!" said Lerena bluntly.

"Well, that's true, unless he's a Capricorn, and then you might fall in love easier." she said with a snicker.

"Oh, your sense of humor is so crude."

"Maybe yours isn't crude enough, Sister. So, does he have any siblings?"

"Eh, one sister. He didn't discuss much about her. I'm guessing she gets in his way a lot as most siblings typically do. Gawd, Dante is such a hand full. How much do you want to bet he's terrorizing the principal?"

"I don't know. Mom and Dad made it pretty clear that he'd have to serve us for a week if he did anything else funny. I doubt he wants to serve us." replied Renoko. "Personally, I think he's afraid of us and that's why he's such a douchebag."

Lerena laughed. "You think? The day he was adopted, you threatened to kill him if he even touched your room."

"Oh, you would too if he touched something of yours. He hasn't done anything to us lately, but probably because he's afraid I'm really a witch. He found my spell book."

"Oh, shut up. You're serious? What was the look on his face?"

"Remember that scream at 4 AM?"

"He tried to kill you at 4 AM in the morning?"

"No, he tried to steal something of mine until he realized a spell book was on my desk. He wanted my personal diary. Ha. The first entry is about Kaiba."

She snickered. "You don't write in that thing much do you?"

"Oh come on! I'm barely grasping you!" Jonouchi said tugging her, getting her up on her feet. "Now come on, you can hang around me and my friends ok?" he said walking out the door with her.

"You know you're something else!" Akiko yelled at him, "is this how you treat all the ladies or I am just special like that?" Sure she didn't mind joining someone group but this wasn't the right way! "And yes it hurts! Why won't you believe me!? Damn it! I can walk on my own!" she said. This was going to leave a nasty mark on her wrist in a while. She didn't know whether or not to think this guy was just really nice or crazy. Hell, she was starting to think everyone in this school was crazy! She still resisted a little but to no avail.

"I'm always like this," Jonouchi said closing his eyes and smiling. He went searching for Yuugi since he was the only one who shared gym class with him. Tristan used to share it with them too but after that big fight with that one kid, one of them had to go. They chose Tristan. It didn't take long to spot his friend walking away from the track. "Yo Yuugi! There you are," he called out waving with his free hand. "Where did you go? I didn't see you in the gym," he added.

Akiko sighed a bit, just walking with him now. Her luck he would pull out her arm out of her socket. When he saw who he called out to she gasped a bit. That was the guy she walked away from with the project! Awkward! Akiko became stubborn and threw her weight down, resulting in giving her enough energy to pull Jonouchi and left her sitting on the ground. "I'm not moving until you let go of my wrist- got it?" she said sticking her tongue out at him.

"Oof!" Jonouchi murmured when she pulled back on him. "You're stubborn! Didn't you want to hang out with someone?" he said.

"Yea but I don't want to be dragged around like a rag doll!" she said wishing he would just let go of her wrist. She wasn't going to run away or anything, she was just in pain. "You have a horrible way with women! Is this how you 'give a hint' or something?!" she said hoping to god that wasn't the case with him. She didn't need any creepy a** stalkers.

"Hint? Oh no. Sorry, you're too small for my taste. I like at least C's and D's" he said shrugging a bit.

Akiko's eyes widened. Did he just..... no! "Don't compare my tits you perv!" she yelled at him as she slapped his leg.

"OW! Hey! What was that for?!" he said letting go of her wrist and rubbing the back of his leg.

Akiko took her arm back and laid on the ground in relief. She let out an exaggerated sigh. Only three classes in and she's already exhausted. She looked at her wrist that had red marks from his grip. "Yup, that's going to turn purple in an hour," she sighed to herself.

Jonouchi looked over at Yuugi who was just kinda staring at him. Jonouchi put his hand on the back of his head and laughed while sweatdropped. "Anyway..... This is..... uh..... what's your name again?" he chuckled naively.

She put her hand up a bit and waved a little while still laying down, "Akiko, yea..... I already met him."

Marik listened to Renoko and Lerena's conversation. So the girl had a crush on him? Could this day get any better? This should be easy! Except for one little thing, he's never done something like this before. He didn't know how to 'get a girl'. Well, what ever he was doing now he should just continue- it interested her enough just by doing that. And goodness did they hate Yuugi! It was enjoyable really. Ok well, he didn't hate Yuugi as much as he hated the Pharaoh. He was here living his life, enjoying himself, while Marik was left to die in a tomb, alone.

What he found weird was they actually saw why he would hate him. It wasn't a bad thing, but he was used to people telling him his plans were out of unnecessary anger. He was very weary about how much they knew- about him and the items. Especially with Renoko- she seemed to be the one doing all the research. If things didn't go his way because of what they know, he would have to take matters into his own hands. He didn't care who they were, nobody was going to stand in his way. He cursed at himself a bit though for mentioning the 'family secrets'. Damn it. He didn't think they would know so much to assume other things that were actually true.

As for their discussion on the split personality, he figured they were talking about the Pharaoh. He had no idea about his other half, not one clue.

He smirked when they spoke about astrology because in fact, he was a Capricorn. Oh course, he didn't believe it as much as they seemed to. After all, his sister is the only one who could accurately predict the future- not someone reading the stars. Not saying he didn't like it. It was an ancient art after all. He believed it had an effect on people and who they were and basic aspects, but not what he was going to do today or the next week or a year from now. He was in control, nothing is predesignated. After all, he was supposed to stay with his sister in the tomb and did that happen? No. He chose to leave. He hated the idea of Fate, he didn't want to live by Fate- he was going to live how HE wanted to live. And no stupid book was going to tell him to contact his sister about what he's been doing or feeling. Nobody has to know how he feels- none of their business.

But for now, he was just deciding what to do next. He could slip out from underneath the bleachers quietly and sit on them. It wasn't eavesdropping if he was in plan sight on the other side. He was minding his own business after all. He could do that and when they came around the track they would see him. He'd have his hand holding up his head and reading his book- making look like he was way too into his book to hear anything. Of course, by the time they came around, he'd probably be absorbed in his book again. Yes, that's what he would do. They would probably see him, and quite possibly confront him with an array of possibilities. He followed through with his plans, climbing through and up as quietly as possible. It was impossible to see any signs of were he was and the fact that he climbed up- even if someone was staring right at the bleachers. He also did it as quietly as possible.

((I had to make a joke in the first paragraph. See if you can find it.))

"Heh, no." said Renoko. She noticed Marik sitting on the bleachers and moved in front of Lerena so she wouldn't see him. Her efforts proved super effective. "Lerena, speaking of which, did you take your medication today?"

"No, I didn't, why?" Lerena asked, unaware of what Renoko had just done.

"Geez, Lerena, don't go psychotic on me. We don't need to have another episode."

She smirked. "What do you mean another episode?" Lerena threw her head back and laughed psychotically, then stopped. "Okay, on a more serious note, why did you just step in front of me?"

"Eh heh...nothing important really. I'm just...trying to get a view at your good looks! That's all!"

"Then move." Lerena said harshly. "And while you're at it, take a picture; it lasts longer."

"What?! No! I'm quite comfortable being in this spot!" said Renoko stubbornly.

"But you said you don't have anything to hide." she replied scratching her throat slightly.

"Damnit! Stop doing that!" she ordered. "What if someone sees you?"

"I can't help it if it itches. Tell me, Renoko, what are you hiding, I wonder? Am I not important enough to know? I bet that's it."

Her eyes widened. "Sister, no! You're very important! I'm just trying to protect you. Just come with me to your locker and we can handle this peacefully. Once you take your medication, I'll let you know what I was hiding."

"Liar!" replied Lerena. "That medication doesn't help me anyway." she said with a smirk. "I should've taken my medication before P.E. since that's when the effects show themselves. However, I do have a duel today, and I'm much more fit to duel the Pharaoh in this state of mind."

"Lerena, that's a lie! Listen to me. I'm your sister."

She snickered slightly. "I am listening to you, Sister. What's to stop us from dueling him now? The rules? We dominate this class, we pull the strings. I want to duel him and take his Puzzle now..."

Renoko growled. "We must wait, Sister. Our agreement was to not start something during class."

"I know, but I'm bored." answered Lerena. "Do you want me to be bored?" she asked with a pout. "Which reminds me, you haven't gotten out of my way!"

"Lerena, please. Don't go insane here!"

"I'm perfectly stable! Move!" she said, finally shoving Renoko out of her way.

Thanks to her good reflexes from being a ballet dancer in previous years, she was able to keep her balance despite her sister's attack. "Damn, you need to be rechecked." said Renoko.

She noticed Marik, but then glanced casually at Renoko. Lerena started scratching her throat again, but when she actually acknowledged that Marik was there, she snapped back to reality. "What the? Why are you on the bleachers? Quit messing around. We have a job to do."

Renoko sighed. "Can we take your medication now?"

"No! Do you know what that does to me?! Why do you think I stopped taking it?!"

"Do you even remember what it's for?!" asked Renoko with another sigh.

She blinked. "Well, hm, no, I don't. I just know I've been taking it since I was 5. Mother and Father refuse to tell me why I'm taking it though. They won't even give me the bottle, because it says what it prescribes on there."

"There's a bloody good damn reason for that, Sister." Renoko snorted.

"Don't get smart with me! You've never taken medication before! You're always so...perfect! It's disgusting!"

"Perfect? Who told you this?"

"I've been doing some thinking and I just don't feel competent." said Lerena, sliding her legs over the bleachers to sit next to Renoko, completely oblivious now to Marik's existence. "Do you think I'm scary, Sister?"

"If only I could tell you, Sister, but it's a trade secret."

"What? You can't tell me? But why not? Don't you trust me, Sister?"

Renoko cupped her hand in hers. "Of course, I do, but Mother and Father want you to learn about this at a specific time in your life."

"Like when? At my funeral?" Lerena retorted as she crossed her arms.

"Okay, look. I don't usually do this, but, you really need to find yourself a boyfriend." Renoko said with a sigh.

"I do not!" replied Lerena angrily.

"So? A guy manipulates you, whatever. Manipulate him back."

"I can't do that if I don't know who's doing it!"

Renoko put her palm to her forehead. "Then assume every man's doing it, duh." she replied. "Besides, you're irresistible. Even if someone were to try to manipulate you, I'm sure they'd feel bad about it later."

"Kiba didn't feel bad about it." she reminded Renoko.

"He was also ten years old, had a god complex, and believed he would one day rule the world. In comparison, doesn't Marik seem 100,000 times better?"

Lerena made a look at her. "If he cared to speak to me, he would've already done it. I don't just talk to guys asking for their zodiac sign."

"Fine, I'll do it." Renoko tried to get up to ask him, but Lerena pulled her down again.

"Oh, HELL no! I am not having my older sister play Matchmaker. I don't care how hot he is!"

"It's just an innocent question. He's probably never even had a girlfriend before. You'd be doing him a favor."

"I don't want someone who doesn't know how to treat a girl!"

"So you go for a guy like Jounouchi who only cares about your bra size and has probably asked a thousand girls to go out with him?"

She growled. "Uh, NO! Marik is way more my type, though I don't know why. I mean, I've only known him for two hours."

"My shortest relationship lasted for an hour, Lerena. I doubt you can do as bad as me. Now do it! Come on!"

"No!" replied Lerena.

"If he's your type and has every quality you desire, then WHY are you holding back?"

"He can hear us you know." Lerena pointed out.

"What if he can?" she sneaked a look at him. "He's just reading a book. Unless he's like you and gets distracted easily, which I highly doubt, he wouldn't find an interest in our conversation."

"Oh, yea? If there was a conversation about me, I'd be interested." said Lerena.

"We were talking about Satan before we started talking about him!"

"We were not! We were talking about...uhhhh, I don't remember. s**t! You distracted me! What did I forget?!"

Yes! Her plan worked. Now she just needed her sister to continue her discussion so she can set Marik and Lerena up. "Lerena, what makes you think Marik is manipulating you in the first place?"

'I don't know that actually. But if Kiba did it, what's to stop my next crush from doing the same thing? And they say you reap what you sew. I've manipulated a lot of guys, Renoko!"

Renoko smirked, and then snickered slightly. "My dear Lerena, there's one thing you can give a guy that can capture his heart forever. You need to find out what Marik desires most, or follow your instincts."

"If I was Marik, I would be wanting the Pharaoh to suffer, and what better way than to separate him from Yuugi? I'd probably have an admirer do it, because I certainly can't be bothered to do it myself. I'm far too busy with other matters."

"Oh, gawd, you're making him sound lazy." Renoko said with a snicker.

"Wouldn't you make an admirer do something important for you, and once he's given it to you, just toss him aside like dirt?"

"Tch, yea, but that's me, not him. The secret is to not become emotionally attached to anyone, but to form an interest, use them, and then dispose of them as necessary. That's what all men are for anyway." she said with a snicker.

"But Marik's probably smarter than that. If I was manipulating him, he'd probably be able to tell."

"You know? What if he manipulates you as long as you can get some pleasure from the relationship?"

"What?!" asked Lerena. "You're making me out to be a whore now."

"No, you're getting this all wrong. Besides, everyone has to learn somewhere. If he has no experience being with a girl, well, that's probably the best thing. You know why? Because first relationships usually burn the hardest. Just make sure he would never be able to forget you. If you make your impression, he'd hate that. Men hate it when they can't forget about someone. It drives them insane, and personally, I love being a tease." Renoko replied with a snicker. "Of course, I do have my boundaries. I'm no one's whore, and you shouldn't be either." She stood up. "Well, I'm going to go torment the teacher. I want a cold soda beverage, so I'm going to make her buy me a drink." said Renoko with a smirk.

Lerena took this time to reflect on what Renoko had said. Unlike Marik, Renoko had been very careful not to leave hints about anything. Renoko seemed to be telling her to indulge in any pleasure she could drag out of being with Marik. She eyed him suspiciously. He wasn't interested in being with her in the slightest. Now that she mentioned it, she spilled her past far too hastily. Even if Renoko had deciphered the hidden meaning behind everything he tried to leave out, it was difficult for her to feel important and necessary in this life. Her eyes closed and she leaned over the empty seat behind her. It felt nice to stretch her back. The one way she kept herself fit was through dance. Although she wasn't the strongest, her dancing made quite the workout.

She kept her eyes closed and sighed. Why did she allow herself to develop a crush on someone over a span of two hours? "It's impossible..." she muttered to herself. She put on a mask for Yuugi; a mask that hid her true objective to be accepted for who she was. She smirked. Renoko was right; friends truly weren't necessary. The only one she could truly trust was Renoko, but she was on good terms with most of her family members as well. One day she'd fine out what her parents were hiding from her. And yet, her thoughts seemed to drift back to Marik; was she competent, could she keep him interested in her, was he manipulating her, did she have the charm to make him want more and more?

Surely there was no man worth her time that could resist her when she wanted a man to be hers. She ran her pointer finger through her bangs and thought harder about the issue. The thing about what she'd do if she was Marik was a lie. She couldn't truly put herself in his shoes since she barely knew him. It was just what she wanted. "Damnit. My heart's such a tease..." Lerena muttered again.

"Akiko...? Oh, right, of course. I still need to know about your past." he said with a heart-warming smile. "I'd like to hear about it, but I also don't want to cause you stress over it. Tell me as much as you're comfortable with. I have a duel with Lerena and Renoko later as well. They're dangerously close to one another, but I'm sure I can beat them." Atemu said seriously for a moment. He looked at his best friend and started to strike up some conversation with him as to the possibility of why Renoko didn't like them. "Jounouchi, I'm highly suspicious about Lerena and Renoko. I'm not sure what they're doing exactly though. When I listened to them earlier, I got the feeling that Renoko was sexist from their conversation. That would explain why we were treated like mere inferiors back in Chemistry class. But also hear this. I brought up that she reminded me of Kaiba and it seemed to bring up a bad moment from her past. I think she had a crush on him before."

[[poke poke pokemon! X3 ]]

Akiko sat up when he started talking and mentioned having to find out about her for the paper. She still felt a bit worried about it but at least he didn't push her for everything. That was good, perhaps she could just tell him her good memories. She also didn't feel as worried, perhaps because Renoko wasn't there? She didn't mind her, but there was something about her. Also, she felt bad talking about her good times when Renoko had such a horrible past. She was right, it was frightening.

"Ok, no problem," she said standing up and dusting herself off. "Duel?" she questioned Yuugi as she thought about it. "Like the card game or more like fencing?" she asked unsure exactly what he was talking about. She knew about duel monsters and she knew how to play. However, he could be talking about a ton of other things. She didn't want to assume. "Well yea, ummm..... I could give you the info after the duel I guess?" she said shyly not wanting him to break prior arrangements. The only thing she couldn't figure out was if he was friends with them or if he wasn't. At the moment, she wasn't sure if it was a friendly duel or something else.

"A duel huh?" he said seriously. "Your right, I have a bad feeling about those two," he added. Those two always seemed to pick on everyone, especially men. "I was thinking they were sexist too. I mean, they are always causing trouble for guys, never really any girls," he said putting his hands on his hips. Jonouchi then smiled and laughed out loud, "Kaiba!? She had a crush on Kaiba?! Oh that's too much!"

"Yea, who's Kaiba? The name sounds familiar," Akiko asked Jonouchi.

"Kaiba, that egotistical millionaire. He owns Kaiba Corp- one of the largest companies in the world," Jonouchi answered. "Wait you never heard of him? Oh that's right, you're from the states."

"Ohhhhhhh!" Akiko said remembering now. "That's right, the game company, ok. No no, we know about him just as much. He's like Bill Gates but with games, gotcha," she added.

Jonouchi looked back at Yuugi and put his hands in his shorts pocket, "Do you need a dueling partner? It sounds like you're dueling both of them at the same time," he asked offering himself as a partner.

Marik looked up when the two girls sat at the bottom of the bleachers. He was further up and it was rather hard to hear them unless he diverted his whole attention to them. That was also because they were keeping their voices a lot lower then before. He heard somethings about boyfriends and manipulation. He kept looking at his book and partially listening on them. After all, he already knew what he wanted to know already. He peeked up to see Renoko leaving and Lerena by herself. She just sat there in her own thoughts. Now was his chance to get closer to her. He didn't know how to deal with women, so he decided to deal with her as he has been already.

"Oi, what are you doing down there by yourself?" he said in his apathetic and serious voice. He looked down at her with his one arm holding his head up while he used his free hand to close his book. He then straightened out a bit- stretching upward. Marik then leaned forward and rest his arms on his thighs. "Well? Don't tell me you forgotten how to talk or something," he added.

((XD! Kaiba's not really a necessary character, but unfortunately, he is in this post. I'll just temp him for a second. Playing Kaiba is fun.

I almost lost this post, because Firefox froze O__O

I rolled a die and Atemu and Jounouchi are going to lose their duel against Lerena and Renoko. We're not actually going to duel or anything, because that would be too long and way too tedious. Plus, I don't think you want to duel either XD! It would take too long for me to make a good tag duel deck for Lerena and Renoko especially since I'm not sure which cards existed in the original YGO and which ones were created after the original YGO ended.

Lerena would willingly give the Puzzle to Marik under normal circumstances, but she might taunt him for information first.))

The teacher stopped looking at the other students doing laps. Most of them were done and just hanging out. That's the only reason she didn't get on to Akiko, Yuugi, Jounouchi, Marik, Lerena, or Renoko. Though, unfortunately, trying to get the Demonic Sisters to cooperate seemed impossible, especially since they now knew her biggest weakness and often turned it against her. When Marik began talking to Lerena, she wanted to warn him strictly against doing so, as she knew the terror Lerena often caused to men. If they didn't know how to impress Lerena, they were often dumped within that week! She got distracted by Renoko walking over to her. "Um, yes, Renoko? What is it?"

"I'm thirsty. Lend me 100 yen so I can buy me some coke, and don't forget, I know where you live." she said with a smirk.

She shifted from one foot to the other. "Alright." she walked to her office and got four coins out of her purse, then handed them to Renoko. "I don't suppose you'll pay me back?"

"I'll think about it, but don't look forward to getting anything from me." Renoko sneered. "Speaking of which, bring me Seto Kaiba. I want to know Yuugi's dueling strategy. Make sure to let him know that our talk is strictly business and not confidential." She took the coins and on her way out turned her head to look back at her. "I expect him in here by the time I get back. He's the one with the expensive-looking gym shorts. He does look good in them though...Hm. Anyway, if you can't get him in here, you owe me another week worth of coke."

"He'll be in here." promised the teacher.

"Good." Renoko left the gym to get herself a coke.

"Um, Seto Kaiba! Can you come here for a second?" called the teacher.

He put down the book he was reading and sighed before walking over to the teacher. "What is it? Make it quick would you?"

"I have a student who wishes to discuss business with you. It's something about Yuugi's dueling strategy."

"What?! Someone's trying to beat Yuugi? Who is it?! I have to know who it is immediately! I have to judge whether they're even worthy enough to duel him!"

Renoko sipped her coke and licked her lips. She was by the door of her teacher's office, but she couldn't help but snicker when Kaiba commented on judging the worth of Yuugi's opponent, or in this case, opponents. "Teacher, out of the seat and out of the room. Kaiba and I have a business discussion." she ordered darkly.

The teacher nodded and walked out of the room.

Renoko made herself uncomfortable in the teacher's chair, crossed her legs, and started twiddling with a pen on her desk. Her coke had meanwhile been set next to the teacher's keyboard. "Greetings, Seto Kaiba. Am I worthy enough to duel Yuugi?' she smirked, very well knowing what his answer would be. However, he'd soon see her worthiness and come begging to know how she beat the almighty King of Games.

"I seem to hear you and your sister's name more often in the boy's locker room now. Apparently the 'Demonic Sisters' torment far more men than they did last year. Any particular reason why?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Kaiba, you're avoiding the question."

"Oh, that's right, you confessed your love to me last year. I've done my research. Any reason why you seem to target men who break hearts more often than others?"

Renoko put the pen back in the cup and put her hands together, resting her head on them with a soft sigh. "You have no part in why I'm tormenting more men than I used to. Can we get back to the subject? My sister and I are having a tag duel against Yuugi, as I'm assuming he isn't dumb enough to duel us on his own. Any particular input you can give about which partner he'd choose?"

"Jounouchi Katsuya, no doubt. He's nothing more than a second-rate duelist, so if you two target the mutt, you should be able to win easily. Last I heard, the mutt's deck is a warrior deck that uses equip cards. Yuugi's deck is more of a dark attribute deck. If he gets his Dark Magician on the field, don't let him use any of his support cards. However, I must warn you that Yuugi has another side to himself that seems to come out right before a serious duel. Be warned that he seems to become better at dueling if this side emerges." explained Kaiba intelligently.

She sipped some more coke. "Ah, yes, thank you. I've met this side before. Anyway, you are free to leave now." offered Renoko.

Kaiba had no particular desire in finding out what Renoko knew, but he decided to remark on the fact he doubted the Demonic Sisters had what it took to beat Yuugi. "I doubt you two can beat him, but since he's using that mutt, I have no doubt it'll be an easier win for the both of you unless you two completely suck."

Her lips curled into a cruel smirk. "Ah, yes, well. Rest assured that we don't lose duels so easily. My sister and I are perhaps only bested by the Paradox Brothers. Any reason you gave up this information so freely?"

"I would like to see Yuugi beaten so I know a strategy to beat him myself. I'll be watching this duel, so don't disappoint me." Kaiba answered and walked out of the room.

"Do me a favor Mr. Kaiba and tell the teacher that I have a few clients to talk to. I'll be using the next thirty minutes to construct my replies using her computer."

He snorted. "I could care less what you have to do. Just beat Yuugi." Kaiba advised.

"Thank you for your time, Mr. Kaiba."

Once again, Kaiba snorted. Her 'appreciation' was nothing to him, especially since there were so many signs that she was still interested in being his lover. Though she had ceased contact with him entirely, he couldn't ignore the facts. Fortunately, he didn't care what happened to anyone else as long as Renoko left him alone. If anyone else was intelligent enough to do the research, they'd realize Renoko began truly torturing and manipulating men last year after he told her off. He wasn't ashamed that he did it, but it seemed that he had a huge psychological effect on Renoko whether she was ready to accept that fact or not.

She didn't realize that Marik was staring at her and she was currently mouthing words to a song she knew. Though she hated the singer of it, this song was too hard not to enjoy. "You'll be asking for me one day." she mouthed. Her eyes widened in surprise when she noticed that Marik joined her on the bleachers. She was so lost in herself that she didn't realize he was there until he spoke up.

"Oh, it's you. Err, you didn't hear anything that Renoko and I said earlier did you? It would be bad if you did; we can come off as really mean and stuck-up sometimes, but she's worse than I am. Plus, she decided to tease me about my love interest. She wanted me to ask him what his sign was and I told her I didn't want to, because it's a bad pick-up line." Lerena began, first starting off as cautious and then letting her mouth explain her situation.

"She was joking about my attraction to Capricorns. It's not my fault I want compatibility and stability in my relationship. Besides, my compatibility chart states that I'm most compatible with a Capricorn or a Virgo. I'm going for a Capricorn since Virgos don't seem all that appealing to be in a relationship with. I hated my horoscope for today. Actually, I hate my horoscopes 99% of the time, but checking my horoscope is something to do even if they don't dictate my life. Sometimes, my day goes the way horoscopes say they will, but they're nothing to rely on." she continued, hoping to spark some conversation about astrology since they both liked it.

It was strange that she was talking to Marik about what her sister wanted her to ask him. At least, Lerena could only hope that Marik didn't know her love interest was actually him. "So, what made you decide to talk to me without us being forced to do a project together? I'm not talking too much am I?" she asked looking away.

"It seems that Renoko and Lerena are also from the states, but they've apparently been here longer than Akiko. Jounouchi, you shouldn't be laughing, because you seem to have just as worse luck with your crushes." Atemu reminded Jounouchi. "Yes, I'll need a dueling partner. I hope they don't think I'm stupid enough to duel without one. It would be a nice challenge, but I'm not sure I can win a duel where they're likely to team up on me." he said with a small chuckle.

He turned to look at Akiko. "The card game. I don't fence. I'll be looking forward to hearing about your past. Hopefully it wasn't as disturbing as Renoko's, but you seem to be a better person than she is. It's not that I think Lerena and Renoko are bad people, but they could use some proper guidance. I think they've just suffered so much they haven't had time to properly talk out their problems. After our duel, Renoko and Lerena are to stop terrorizing everyone and I think they'll enjoy life much better not doing that. I'm sure they'd make excellent friends if they would just use their abilities to help others."

Even Atemu, who was always confident in his abilities and what he said, was unsure of whether Renoko and Lerena were really good people or just sadistic sisters who loved seeing others in pain.

[[It's cool, I don't care who we bring in randomly X3 But yea, no, it worked for the story line so no worries. Yea, I duel but I don't like to rp duel- it does take too long. Plus you would be dueling yourself a lot X3 I can never remember any good cards either! There's too many of them!

I wounder if Lerena's teasing would push Marik to manipulate her, because he doesn't realize it was a joke.

I'm also considering bring Bakura into the sotry - I love playing him- but only if they have Yuugi's puzzle and he finds himself having a hard time. I dunno- I just have to see how the story goes and see if he would help the story line. I'm also considering having Akiko find her own Millennium item after their duel- wanna hear more about the idea now?]]

"Crushes!?" Jonouchi said, "Nah not so much crushes. But I can't help but try when I see a pretty lady." Of course, he didn't bother mentioning Mai. She his real first crush. Sure they were friends, but Jonouchi was head over heels for her. But she wasn't interested in him that way. It wasn't a bad experience, just a little disappointing. All of his friends knew it too, he couldn't hide it if he wanted to.

"Oh god..... really now?" she said rolling her eyes. "What are you? Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra?" she joked.

Jonouchi looked at her funny, not quite getting the joke.

"Er.... nevermind," she said realizing he didn't get it at all.

Jonouchi smiled and pointed at himself with his thumb confidentially, "Then I'm your guy. We'll take down those two no problem!" Jonouchi then paused and looked at Yuugi. "So you bet them? And if they lose they'll stop terrorizing people?" he said with a smile but then realized something, "What did you bet them? Not that we're going to lose."

Akiko giggled lowly when he said he didn't fence. Ok so that was a silly thing to think but still. "Yea, I can't believe all those horrible things happened to her and her sister. It's kinda sad...." she said in a lower voice. She then looked back up at both Jonouchi and Yuugi and asked, "T-terrorize? What do you mean?" She had no idea of the things they have been doing.

"What! How can you not know about the Demonic Sisters!? Have you been hiding under a rock?!" he exclaimed.

Akiko just looked at Jonouchi like he was an idiot. She gave him this stare until he realized his miscalculations.

"Oh wait..... that's right. You're new here, completely," he said rubbing the back of his head.

Akiko just gave him a sarcastic smiled to him. "Anyway, what type of things have they done?"

"I didn't even notice you until I looked down away from my book," he lied smoothly. He came down from the top to sit near her. He listened to her only to confirmed what he already knew. She spoke quickly and a lot- out of nervousness? He put his finger on her mouth, "Shhhh," he said hovering his free finger over his own mouth. He then moved away and leaned back to relax. "Don't worry about pieces of paper that'll say you'll do something. Nothing can tell you what you will do or feel, only yourself," he stated closing his eyes.

"So you'll only be interested in a man who is a Capricorn? And what if you found a man who you fell in love with and found he was a different sign other than Capricorn? Even something you're horribly incompatible with like an Aries or an Aquarius?" he said looking over at her with the corners of his eyes giving her an attractive look, "then what would you do?" He was messing with her, not letting her know right off the bat that he was in fact a Capricorn. He wanted to have a little fun with her, he was also interested in what she would say despite his rough tough 'I don't care' exterior.

"Who said I came down here to talk to you? You were the one who started a conversation with me. I just joined in really," he said closing his eyes again to relax. He was very good at playing it cool- it was all a part of being able to manipulate people. He knew how to act in front of different people to get what he wanted. He didn't just need the rod. However, he still had no experience with romance and women. No worries, that's what his Millennium Item was for.
PostPosted: Thu May 21, 2009 2:34 am

((I'd love to hear your idea now. I'm dying with curiosity. You know how Lerena's father is a mad scientist? He's going to create his two daughters Millennium Items, but I kind of need to remember how the Millennium Items were made. I remember sacrifices and that's about it. Do you remember how the Millennium Items were made?

Yea, I wouldn't mind if you brought in Bakura as long as he fit into the story somehow. XD Though bringing in characters for a side plot can always be fun. Who said Lerena would actually follow Renoko's advice? True, she might end up doing it on accident, but she isn't in control of whether a guy forgets about her or not o.o;

Lerena's mother is originally a witch who can cast dark magic spells. The ingredients she needs for her spells are often illegal and hard to obtain though. She'll still need to be able to cast a spell for the creation of Lerena and Renoko's Millennium Items though. Yea, my characters are toned-down to be YGO-RP-Appropriate. But I swear there's some spell-casting in the Memory Arc O_O.))

"Unfortunately, we're dueling for my puzzle." Atemu answered. "This will be a very important duel for both me and the Demonic Sisters, because the loser loses it all." he finished. He wasn't sure whether Akiko would like to hear what the Demonic Sisters had done, but it was her right to know. "Alright, I'll tell you, but be prepared. These girls aren't ordinary students as Renoko's explanation of her past should have told you."

Atemu braced him to explain and closed his eyes as he recalled some of the things he had overheard from the other male students. As he crossed his arms, he began to tell Akiko of the most serious situation. "Last I heard, our P.E. teacher's sons were dating Renoko and Lerena. However, they haven't been to class since I heard the two girls dumped them. It must have been hard for the both of them. I heard they were in love with the girls and would do anything for them."

He paused and thought of another few things about them. "Lerena and Renoko have been known to torment guys who have dumped girls recently, but I know Renoko torments every guy she finds. Lerena doesn't seem to hate guys as much as Renoko, but I know she is easily influenced by her sister's desires. They're always hanging out during lunch. No one sits at the table they sit at, because everyone either fears the Demonic Sisters or hates them."

"I know they tend to blackmail guys into dating them, though Renoko's charm is usually enough to get a guy interested in her. On the other hand, Lerena is too much for most guys to put up with. They know about her 'psychotic' side. I don't think Lerena is aware of it herself. Lerena's method of getting a relationship with someone she wants usually involves dazzling them or blackmailing them." he explained.

"Once either sister gets what she wants from a boy, the relationship ends like that. No one has said anything about how they dump a person or if the girls threaten them. In fact, most guys transfer immediately after they're dumped. When the Demonic Sisters are confronted, they seem clueless about the matter. I'm not sure whether love is truly just a game to them or if they're really doing something to these men." Atemu finished thoughtfully.

"Uh huh, right." said Lerena doubtfully. She wasn't sure whether Marik was telling the truth or not since he seemed to spark a conversation right after Renoko left. "Who said I believed in horoscopes? Horoscopes are stupid. You make my sister and I out to be losers. We don't believe in that crap. We just read our horoscopes for fun." she retorted.

"I'm also interested in Scorpios and Leos." she pointed out. "If I fell in love with an Aries or an Aquarius, they'd have to be one hell of an oddball and quite unlike the sign they were born with." Although she noticed Marik's attractive look, she made it appear as though it didn't phase her at all, when in reality she felt like he was trying to impress her! What was he doing? Playing with her? For what reason? What did he want with her?!

Her eyes darkened and she stared harder at Marik. "You're lying." she said darkly. "I never started a conversation with you. What do you want with me? You wouldn't hurt me, would you? It would be such a pity for you to take advantage of someone who has taken a liking to you." she commented in a smooth, icy voice, following up with an eerie chuckle. Another personality was evident in her eyes if one looked hard enough, but it wasn't long before she turned back to normal.

"Are you sure I started a conversation with you?" asked Lerena suspiciously. It was obvious that Lerena didn't notice her brief personality change. She put her hands over her crossed legs and appeared to be looking at Marik for signs of what his intentions were. When she could find no signs of ulterior motives, she outstretched her arms on the bleacher behind her. "Whatever." Lerena remarked with a sigh.

"Is there something you want to tell me?" she asked Marik closing her own eyes.

[[ X3 okie dokie then. Everytime I play her she always gets her item while she is in the hospital. I was thinking that after the duel with Lerena and Renoko, Akiko gets sick (preferably heat stroke from being outside and dehydrated or something) and passes out. I guess Jonouchi would get her to a hospital? I dunno. Probably going to go with that. While she is there, she goes through this dazed out situation (almost like a hallucination but it is really happening) where she is walking through the hospital, almost out of it, and walks into an ER room where someone is being operated on. The man is dying of unknown reasons, it looks like he has burn marks and horrible scabs, he's also very bloody. He sees her and points at her to come near him. The doctors try to get Akiko to leave but she's really out of it. The man also yells at them to keep her there. He ends up giving her the Millennium Orb (that necklace thing around her neck in the picture). Things fade and she's in her bed again because the nurses bring her back. She's had something like this before, when she was younger and had pneumonia but it was a different situation. The man was actually an explorer who found the item. He took other artifacts as well. I'm going along with the whole 'you;re cursed if you remove things from the pyramids etc' theme with him. He give it to her because he hears voices telling him to, and she wanders to him because she "hears it" or so to say. She doesn't remember how she got it after she wakes up in her bed again. She thinks it's another dream.

yea..... I thought about that a lot XD

As for Lerena's and Renoko's items, I think it is a great idea that her father makes them. Yes, in the story the items were created by mass sacrifices. However! The advantage with their father being a mad scientist and modern science (with a hint of black magic XD), their father can synthetically make these items for them- using perhaps only a few sacrifices- animal or human depending on which route you want to take. But yes, they were created by death and blood.

With Akiko's item, now.... I'm not sure if I am going with this, I always planned her item to be different. Since most Millennium Items have the Shadow Realm ability and some type of "offensive" power, the orb has healing powers and was kinda like..... the equalizing item. Something to counter the Millennium Items. It's not as strong though. And all of it's powers are unsure for me right now. But they are going to cure a lot of things for Akiko- such as no more iron deficiency or week immune system. But she still can get sick or hurt etc, but she's like a healthy person now. Other powers I'm not sure about.

What items do the sisters have? Any ideas what powers they have?

I don't mind about black magic or what ever XD One of the greatest part about Yugioh is that ancient magic fun to it. :3

lol, Akiko is a Leo X3]]

"You're puzzle? Why would they be interested in that? I mean, I know it's important to you," he said shifting his eyes to Akiko. He didn't really want to get into details with Yuugi about it. He knew about the puzzle and his other self but didn't want other people to know. "Well, it should be no problem, we're not going to lose," he said confidentially.

She wasn't sure why the Millennium Puzzle was such a big bet. She tried to remember what he said about it. It meant a lot to him personally. Were they just being vindictive? She listened crossing her arms as he spoke. She hated when people did this- boys to girls or girls to boys. It was just plain wrong. "That's not right," she said with a frown, "It's not right to use people like that. Everybody has feelings." She tapped her foot a bit and thought while she looked down, "I mean, you always hear about how guys do that to girls, and it's sad. But it's just as bad when girls do it to guys." She looked back up.

"Yea but they must think guys don't have feelings or something," Jonouchi said crossing his arms.

Akiko put her finger on her chin and thought, "It was either Daunte or a famous Italian writer who once said 'A woman's love is deep- women love deeply while a man's love is wide. A man can move on once crushed, though they will always be cautious. That's why they don't love deeply, they are subconsciously afraid to love again. A woman loves a man deeply, that's why they hurt so bad when crushed and it is harder for them to move on. But once they do, they are not afraid'." She paused and thought more, "I think it was Daunte who said that."

"Eh! That's a load!" Jonouchi said blowing off the idea off. "I ain't afraid of any relationship! I'm not worried about my feelings!" Jonouchi then added, "And who is Daunte?"

"... the only feelings you have are in your pants....." Akiko laughed and joked. "YOU DON'T KNOW DAUNTE!? My god man! Do you listen in literature class?! Daunte? The man who wrote the Divine Comedy?! Daunte's Inferno!? Anything ringing a bell? I know they teach it here- I saw the syllabus!" she said shocked he's never heard about it. [[have you studied Daunte's Inferno? Each school system is different, but you should be taught it by senior year]]

"Hey!" Jonouchi laughed a bit. "Uh....." he said trying to remember if they studied it.

Akiko sighed. "Yuugi, you remember right? The story of a man going through hell to get to heaven to meet his love again?"

"Well, you talk about it enough. Seems to me you put a lot of you're faith into it," he said smirking. It did seem to him that she did believe it and was just lying to him. To impress him? He wasn't sure.

When she said he was lying, he opened his eyes and looked at her. Her mannerism changed. Was this another personality? Did she have a Millennium item? No, she couldn't- he's done his research on who had what item. He didn't care about the other ones, just the puzzle. But she just.... changed. What was more shocking was how easy she came out and said that she had taken a liking to him. And then she quickly hanged back. He tried to hide his shock, he did a little. "I'm positive, you started the conversation," he said staying on track with her. "Don't you remember? You were asking me about my zodiac sign," he said taking advantage of her personality change. It was obvious she didn't remember what she just said to him.

He laid back like he was before and closed his eyes. "Like what?" he asked playing along with the game. He decided he was getting the best results playing 'hard to get'. She wanted a strong man then he couldn't give in to her charm. He decided that once gym ended, he was going to find out more about the Demotic Sisters. That should help him a lot. He already knew their past, now he needed to know about them and what they do.

((I haven't decided, but I was thinking something along a pair of two transformation bracelets that activate their powers when they say a certain phrase. Lerena would have mostly mind powers while Renoko's powers are mainly ice and wind.

However, I also want them to have a dark song that when they sing, men fall under their spell and do their bidding. Of course, people with Millennium Items wouldn't be affected by the song and it wouldn't be right if the creator of these items wasn't immune to the dark song's effects as well. Additionally, the more strong-willed souls would be able to break free from the spell after a certain amount of time. Strong memories would also be able to break the spell. The amount of men they can control at once would be limited of course. It wouldn't be fair to control half the school.

We can discuss how to limit their powers so they're not too powerful later. For right now, it's not time to create the items. I'm limiting their powers to five each, but I'm not sure how you stand with that. It depends on how much you're willing to accept.

And unfortunately, I have not studied Dante's Inferno, but I have heard of it. It seems so interesting to read too. My curriculum never required me to read Dante's Inferno -.-" I would've loved to. I even added a post for Renoko. Bwuhahahahahaha. She's up to no good XD!))

"Yes. It was a touching story and quite sad indeed." answered Atemu. "I quite liked it myself, but apparently Jounouchi slacked off when we went over it. And yes, Jounouchi, I wouldn't dream of losing my Puzzle to the Demonic Sisters. Akiko, it may not be right, but they're doing it for some reason and I'm going to try to get to the bottom of that reason. If it's possible that they've only been tainted by their past and are really good people, I'm going to expose that good interior."

She glared into Marik's eyes. "I don't believe any of that s**t! Do you understand me?!" she retorted angrily. She crossed her arms and looked away from him. "I did not start this conversation! You're delusional! Your zodiac sign? Why would I ask you about that? Though, come to think of it, I wouldn't mind if you told me." Her voice softened when she started to address his statement about what she was asking him. "Do I remember? Of course I remember! I..." Lerena's voice started to trail off.

She couldn't recall asking him a question about his zodiac sign. Did she black out again? But that was impossible! She was certain that she missed nothing in this conversation. "Damnit! Playing hard to get are you?! I've never dealt with anyone like you. I have no interest in you whatsoever and you're playing some kind of game like I am!" If Marik knew about her crush, it would be easy to take advantage of her, and we couldn't have a Demonic Sister losing her own game. Why did he seem so positive he could influence her?

It was only a matter of time before Renoko's clients would have all the information she needed. Her own father had sent her an email telling her and her sister to meet him in his secret lab that afternoon for a special treat. The email didn't end without his usual evil laugh imitation. Although she had thought it ridiculous at first, Renoko had taken quite a liking to it now. Others would criticize Renoko for having friends when she didn't allow her sister to have any, but her sister understood perfectly how things were supposed to go. Eventually some of these clients would be friends with her sister as well, but they had to initiate the plan first.

"Sarah, it's very important that you understand what we're doing here." she typed in the mIRC window. "Our mission is confidential. My sister cannot be apart of us until she receives the Tattoo of Loyalty and performs the Sacrificial Ritual. The prophecy will be fulfilled as The Ancient Ones have dictated. How is our village?"

I understand what we're doing, but is it right to hide this from your sister? She's the closest person to you. How will she feel if you keep this from her? I want her to get the Tattoo of Loyalty and perform the Sacrificial Ritual as soon as possible. The village is fine, but alas, our guardian deity seems restless.

"Miyu-sama? What's wrong with her? And of course. My sister will receive the Tattoo of Loyalty before the end of this week and she will perform the Sacrificial Ritual." Renoko assured Sarah as her keyboards flew from one key to the next quicker than most people could comprehend.

"She's predicting some very vital changes in Lerena's life. You will have to be there for her, Renoko-sama. I look forward to hearing from you again soon. I have to go. Is there anything I can do for you?"

For a moment, Renoko was thinking about what to reply to Sarah. "I wish to receive an evaluation on the changes that are to occur in my sister's life from now until the next month. If any of the village residents have anything on the Millennium Items, file that information to me immediately. It is important that I know about the information on hand."

"Of course, Renoko-sama. I'll file the information I find by the end of this week."

Renoko watched Sarah log off. This was the last of her clients that she had to deal with for today. It went by a lot quicker than she had expected. What was going on with Miyu though? This seemed strange to her. Miyu didn't usually report on anything having to do with the Helena Clan. She usually communicated with the priestess with important information for protecting the village and keeping it successful. It didn't matter. A personal word from Miyu about Lerena was truly an honor to receive. She flipped off her teacher's computer and finished off her coke. "I wonder how my sister's doing alone..." she said to herself out loud.

[[Yea, you would really like Dante's Inferno. Usually that's the only one in the Divine Comedy that schools go over. Paridisio and..... the other one (the Italian word for Purgatory) aren't as good as Inferno apparently. I dunno personally though.

I'm pretty easy going with story lines and such. So what ever powers you want to limit them to- yes, 5 sounds good. I'll be adding powers to the Orb since I never thought about them before. I'm still debating about whether or not to put a soul in the item. There usually is but I'm not sure at the moment. ]]

Jonouchi put his hands in his pockets, "Bah! A love story is a love story is a love story."

"Yea but it's really gruesome and..... you know what never mind Jonouchi....." she said giving up on him. However, at least Yuugi had interest in the story. The more the two boys talked about the duel, the more she felt this was really serious. Suddenly, the bell rang letting everyone know it was time to get into the lockers and be ready for the next class. "Oh.... class is over already," Akiko said shuffling her feet. "Well, I gotta get to the girls locker room..... later," she said turning around and walking towards the gym.

"Hey wait!" Jonouchi called out to her before she entered the gym. "You wanna sit with us at lunch? It's next period," he asked.

"Huh?" Akiko first mumbled. She smiled then shyly smiled and looked away, "Yea sure," she said nodding. She turned back around and walked into the gym and into the locker room. She didn't need to take a shower since she didn't do anything. Even so, she wasn't sure if she would, she's never had to publicly shower before. She didn't even know if they did that here. She went to her locker and changed quickly so nobody would see her back. Once changed she grabbed her books and her possessions and left to get her lunch from her school locker.

"Yea, maybe," Jonouchi said about the sisters being good underneath. He wasn't sure, but he trusted Yuugi's judgment. Jonouchi could usually tell who was good and who was bad, but he just wasn't quite sure with the Demotic Sisters. "Let's get out of here and to lunch. I'm starving!" he said to Yuugi as they walked in together.

Marik simply chuckled at her anger, this was certainly fun. But it did work, she second guessed herself. He stood up from the bleachers and put his hands in his pockets. "Ah, that's not what your other self said to me not a while ago," he said lowly but enough so she could hear it- he refered to when she said she had no interest in him. "I play no game, but when you're able to remember everything you do, then you can come and talk to me," he said with a confident smirk as he walked away to leave her guessing. He hasn't had this much fun in a while. He liked being in control of her, especially since she fight so hard not to be. She was strong, he didn't doubt that, but he'll never doubt his own power.

He wondered what she would do now. Surely she would be agitated, determined to win against him and his control. But there was a plethora of actions she could take. He waited to see which one it would be. He headed towards the locker room to get changed and to get his possessions.

[[Just a suggestion, if you don't have any plans for Atemu, perhaps during lunch he changes back to Yuugi? Maybe then Akiko can take notice in his change of attitude? Just a suggestion. I'm still thinking about what to do with Marik. I may have him research the sisters, I'm not sure though.

After lunch period, should we skip to after school and the duel?]]
