The castle guard was doing pretty well. A hidden sniper was keeping the peg knight at bay, both the noble and Ghis were being preoccupied, and their lesser units and other people were being taken care of by generic soldiers. Everything was going according to plan.
Perfect...
Abel leaped into action, lunging at Blossom. Their blades met, only for Blossom to be pushed back, allowing Abel to swing around her and kick her forward, away from some of the others. He charged at Blossom again, and swung his broad sword surprisingly quick, but not fast enough to get a clean cut, as it was partially blocked. Abel and Blossom dueled for a minute or so, lashing swords, and countering them. After Abel was done playing with her, he swung his blade hard and pushed her back, forcing her to hit the unstable wall of one of the ruined resident houses, making it cave in.
"Heh... poor little moe. I wonder if you're still intact." [The douche.]

Before Blossom could realize what was happening, Ephraim was running at Large, spear drawn. Metal crashed into metal, and Ephraim's spearhead dragging against his opponent's weapon seemed to literally draw sparks of friction. Ephraim meant business. Ghis, the large man that smelled vaguely of ale that she had met before, was easily handling a pair of Halberdiers on his own front. Blossom started forward, ready to help Ephraim, who seemed to be outnumbered three to one now, but before she could, a rather noticeable occurrence took her attention. A rather pretty musical tune was playing from somewhere behind her and to the left, and by the time Blossom had turned her head, a Myrmidon had been beheaded and arms amputated, bleeding onto the cobblestones.
Then she heard the rush of fabric coming towards her, Blossom barely reacting in time to parry his strike, her boots unable to get enough grip on the street. A swift kick to the side sent her skidding back a few yards. She was able to react again in time to deflect the brunt of his blow, but the sharp blade still pierced through her vest and cut into the soft flesh of her side, enough to draw blood, but not be a true worry. He had certainly gotten better at fighting, whatever had been done to him with the darkening; his movements were faster, more ruthless. He was fully committed to drawing blood in any way, and as Blossom saw it, even if it meant getting hurt himself. She had managed to get in a few decent strikes, though nothing that was capable of even slowing him down before a strong strike from his sword was enough to literally send the lightweight flying. Blossom tried to do something, anything to recover, but then her back crashed into something very hard and very solid, and as her head began to pound, the rumbling all around her elicited a loud, terrified scream ripping out of her throat.
It was abruptly cut off by the rumble and crash of the charred stone wall falling over her, burying her under the heavy debris.
[[Ah, don't worry, if you are. I don't exactly plan on killing her. :P" Though I get the feeling her fighting, at least for this event, has been cut short. Poor kid.]]

Chad was rushed by one of the said generic soldiers. His killing edge, already drawn from when Abel first appeared, came up quickly parrying the lance aimed at his chest and with one swift motion Chad drew his silver dagger, slashing it across his opponets chest. Stepping forward and following on from the parry he brought his sword up to slash the soldier through his torso. The soldier dropped the lance down to a position where Chad's slash was easily blocked then stepped forward bring the but of his spear to meet Chad's face. Dodging to the side Chad boke the weapon lock and, bringing his sword round from the other direction, freed the soldier's head from the rest of his body.
Stepping back into the group Chad saw another soldier, a mercenary this time, rushing towards him swinging his blade. Chad ducked under the first swing bringing his killing edge up to pierce the mercenary from under his ribcage, but unfortunately the mercenary had already positioned his sword for a parry and smashed his pommell into Chad's face.
Staggering back Chad saw the merc swing at him again Chad jumped to the side just in time to avoid being cleaved in two, but not fast enough to avoid a nasty gash in his side. Kneeling Chad placed pressure on the wound with his left hand, wincing at the pain. He had less then a second to catch a breath before the mercenary was on at him again, aiming for Chad's neck.

Ganon had switched to his mandolin and began to play a song to give his comrades strength when he saw Blossom take a hit from Abel. The straps flew off his shoulder, dropping both instruments to the ground. He could repair them if they were damaged, but Blossom? His talons pounded at the stony street as he rushed toward the wall, only to gasp with horror when it collapsed. He immediately began to pull enormous rocks off of the pile, flinging them back indiscriminately-- but mostly at Abel-- as he tried to dig her out.
Clang, Chickenwire, and Large all smirked as Ephraim tried to prepare, and then Chickenwire shouted, "Let's go, boys!" to a resounding clash as Clang beat his sword on his shield. Chickenwire moved first, quickly spinning and throwing out a Tomahawk from his belt, which bounced off Ephraim's spear and arced around, its light enchantment dragging it back toward its owner even as Clang lunged forward and for his part attempted to stun Ephraim with his shield while the Lord was still recovering from the thrown axe. Large bolted straight at Ephraim's back, then lunged and smashed his shoulder against the prince's back, sweeping in a circle and bringing his blade down only to find that the prince was a lot lighter than he looked.
The swordmaster smirked as he landed, swinging his blade out and then raising it to point at Ephraim. "Feh, all that way just from me?" He grinned at Clang and Chickenwire, and all three charged like bulls.
[Break 'em up, get somebody on each one of them. :V Get reinforcements~]

Abel watched as some lizard man whom he had never met before rushed over to where the building had collapsed on top of Blossom. He couldn't help but smirk and shake his head as the man proceeded to try to dig her out. He also annoyingly started throwing rubble everywhere, but mainly at him. But, he just simply stepped to the side with ease, as the rubble wisped passed him. [and onto an instrument]
Elsewhere, the hidden sniper fired a barrage of arrows at the peg knight, trying to aim for where she was heading, instead of where she was at. By this time, the generic soldiers had overtaken the majority of the lesser of Ghis' men, though a significant amount of them had also been subdued. Three more soldiers surrounded the speedy thief, in an attempt to corner him.
"My my, I don't seem to know you..." Abel said to the reptilian man. "When'd you get in town, freak? You look tough at least... want a go?" Abel lowered his head some, but kept his grin.

Blossom was curled up in a bleeding, bruised heap underneath the burned stones that had fallen on top of her tiny frame, blood trickling out of the corner of her mouth. Sharp edges of rock had torn little chunks away from her sleeves, vest, and the hem of her skirt, and bruises lined her arms and the exposed parts of her thighs, presumably also on her chest and stomach. A rather large one had painted itself across her exposed cheek, the other pushed against the cobblestones. Her left wrist was bent at an unnatural angle, blood seeping onto the ground, with a few other heavy cuts on her arms, one across her thigh, cutting through her stocking, and across the bridge of her nose. Blue-grey eyes were closed in pain, chest rising and lowering in quick, shallow breaths, lips slightly parted. She was alive, at least. Conscious? Doubtful. She didn't react as Ganon started to pull the stones off of her body, silent and unmoving against the cobblestones.

It didn't make any sense to Alihi. How did she not notice the myrmidon? Either way, it didn't matter now; he was dead, somehow killed by Ganon's music. Yet another mystery for the tactician who used to seem that she knew all; the mysteries seemed to be increasing in number lately. She only gave the reptilian bard a small nod in return before turning back to the battle, blocking the occasional attack and retaliating with a couple of strikes. She stabbed the mercenary that was trying to attack and behead Chad, diverting his attention long enough for the thief to at least recover a bit.
She quickly realized how weak she had gotten after abandoning the blade for... two years? Something like that. The mercenary eventually fell.
She whipped around, hearing Blossom scream. Alihi didn't have the time to shout her friend's name before the wall collapsed on top of her. No!! The adrenaline began to kick in and she turned around again, rushing to Ephraim's side. As much as she wanted to give Chad a hand, she couldn't split herself in two and Ephraim seemed to be in more trouble. Sparing the thief a quick glance, she placed herself in between Ephraim and the three, getting into a defensive position. Hopefully, she could buy Ephraim enough time for him to recover. But then what? They were rather outnumbered and overpowered. They were down a few, including Blossom. Sure, some of the enemy was down as well... but that wasn't enough to give them any sort of edge. They were still in a pretty bad position.
She gulped slightly, bracing for some pain.

Chad, while dazed, was fortunate enough that he was able to bring his dagger up in enough time to block the latest swing of the merc's sword. Suddenly the merc stopped in pain Chad noticing Alihi standing behind where the soldier was with blood on her sword a little nod from both of them and she was off to help Ephraim. Pushing the Merc Chad swiftly rose to his feet, blood seeping from his nose and his side. A quick glance around revealed three more soldiers advancing on him, pushing him into a corner. Normally he wouldn't of been to worried, but the wound to his side was going to slow him down a fair bit and he didn't quite have the strength to excuse his loss of speed. Readying his killing edge into a defensive stance, he waited.
And waited. The soldiers seemed to be waiting for him to make the first move. They want me to attack them first? Fine. Dagger already sheathed he drew three throwing knives in his left hand, each between to fingers. Grinning ever so slightly he threw one knife at each of the three new soldiers, sprinting partway up the tree he been backed into pushing off. His injuries meant he hadn't quite got the height he wanted or the power from the push of but it was enough to get him right infront of the merc, his killing edge centimetres away from the darkened soldiers face, stopped only by the Merc's own sword. Not wasting anytime Chad rolled around the soldier giving himself some open space. Looking over the damage his knives had caused. He could see one soldier wouldn't be much of a threat pulling a knife out of his sword arm, another know had a wound in the right thight but seemed capable of contining.the third newcomer and the original adversary, currently, seemed unharmed. Well I'll have to change that no won't I Chad thought to himself with another little grin.

Ganon growled darkly, turning to face Abel, but the look in his eyes wasn't so much anger or rage as... disappointment. As if he'd had high hopes that here he had a fine young gentleman and now he's just gone and done something terribly foolish. The neck of his mandolin was broken by a rock, true, but his violin was left unharmed. "You'll pay for that one, boy," sighed the enormous reptile, leaning down and picking up his violin. Slowly, he drew the bow along the strings, his eye narrowed to a golden slit. The tone was pure amidst the chaos, a force of order where none else was present. Ganon took advantage of Abel's apparent curiosity to play a tune, picking up a peculiar rhythm, and began to play variations on a single theme as he stepped down off the stones, now that he had seen that Blossom was breathing. It was too risky to move her, but she was safer without rocks crushing her.
His bow seemed to shift as he played, and then he struck his last note and pulled it back. The strings quite suddenly snapped off his violin just then, holding to the neck and twisting and braiding themselves together while the horsehair released from the top end of his bow and began to do the same. The violin seemed to shrink, packing its mass quickly into a small iron ball while the two ropes twisted together and formed a long connecting chain. Ganon took his bow into his left hand, coiling the chain quickly and holding the loops in his left claw while he held the chain up closer to the weight in his right hand. He began to twirl it slowly as very suddenly, a long scythe blade extended from the end of his bow.
Ganon smirked. "Let's go," he growled, and suddenly he whipped the weight around and threw it hard at Abel's face, letting the chain out as it went and whipping it out to try and wrap it around his sword.

Ganon Firenight Steely Dan narrowed his eyes, watching some of his solid men drop before Captain Ghis' onslaught. "Get away from him!" he yelled. The immediacy with which his men backed away from Ghis was notable; even darkened, Steely Dan had an iron grip over his troops. He stepped forward and lifted his massive Killer Edge, twirling it in his hands, then suddenly leaned into a run straight at Ghis. His sword came up and clashed hard with the other General's axe, and then he shifted back and swung it up, trying to push Ghis into opening up a hole in his defense. Ghis paused, staring down Steely Dan as he came, blocking the first stab with the broad side of his axe, jumping back out of range as the greatsword sliced upward through empty air. The biggest problem with that greatsword was that like all swords, it was versatile and therefore fast--sure, Ghis could block a thrust with a well-timed swing of the axe, but the sword could come back too quickly for another swipe. Worse yet, it was hefty enough to block the Steel Lance Ghis was using. He was, however, wielding it with both hands. Dan continued forward, pressing his advantage, making Ghis keep retreating... Until finally, as he made a horizontal swipe for Ghis' midriff, the General blocked it again with the broad side of his axe. As he was paused for a second, the Lance drove towards Dan's exposed right elbow, aiming to cripple Dan's prominent sword arm.

A dark and dull red figure approached the battlefield, creeping, silent, and for once, had his eyes closed. He stopped in mid-step, flinched, and drew the kris, both, ripping a small portion of his pants upon exiting. Slowly, he brought them to his chest, with each hand, and spun the blades on the hilts on his fingertips, exchanging the knives every 2 or 3 spins. With a whoosh, he let them soar in random directions, to where he heard the noise coming from, just wanting to strike anyone, as he had his eyes closed. An indication of pain would have left him whetted, but he would have rose to the occasion and started fighting for fun. Letting his hands, arms and all, dangle, the arms did not sway, but stayed stiff as steel.
He awaited the metal to make contact, even if it was the ground.

Abel took an immediate stance, as the bard surprisingly took to speedy action with a most interesting weapon. Usually, there would not have been enough time to properly react to such a fast throw, but he was different now. And he had the perfect thing. Abel quickly swung his blade out and up, emitting a powerful force of wind from his sword, powerful enough to knock back the ball and chain that had been thrown out. Abel chuckled. The sword did indeed suit him well, darkened or not.
"You're not half bad, speedy. Unlucky for you, I found myself this nice thing stashed in the castle. Looks like-- Wh!"
Abel immediately held up his blade and blocked a suddenly thrown knife from nowhere, almost not even seeing it. In fact, it would be hard for anybody to see. Even the bard, who had a knife coming right at him, at that very moment.

For a moment, Ephraim felt like a punching bag and for a moment he was. He stood up for a split second only to feel a sharp pain on his left shoulder causing him to hit the floor again. This really wasn't a fair fight but then again, when did Large ever play fair? The noble struggled against the ground, using his elbow to support him ad he stared at the three. He cursed "..Uraagh...If..if only I could separate them somehow....but we don't have enough units!"
Ephraim watched the three come charge again and at that very moment, he realized Alihi had gotten in front to protect him...no, that was suicide! Immediatly, Ephraim forced himself up, grabbed the tactition by the shoulders and pushed her aside. Without hurting the girl, the noble raised his spear and caught Clang's sword by the head with Chickenwire's attack following. Reading all three clearly, Ephraim managed to push them back just a bit but it was still difficult considering he was handling three not one. With Clang's sword somewhat attached to his spear, Ephraim spun, shoving him into Chickenwire which in time, rammed him into Large. At this point, the three were back in the area they were just before he started to head toward the noble.
"Alihi.." he called, staggering a little after just forcing himself up from a difficult position. "If your going to do something like that..don't make it a suicidal move" he joked, considering she was a tactition, she should know better. After a few moments, he regained his balance. He reached over the button on his cloak and it landed on the dirt with a soft 'wump' next came his shoulder guards which were already shattered on the left side. He felt a few trinkle of blood drip down as it was released but ignored it, wasn't going to kill him for the time being. "If your willing to find another person to distract the other hero..I can take Large..alone.." whispering softly so only Alihi could hear.
((Again, tell me if you don't agree to this XD ))

Alihi stumbled to the side a bit, not expecting Ephraim to be the one to make any sort of move. She smirked. "Oh, come on! I was trying to buy you some time!" She shook her head, twirling the blade in her hand. "Not even a 'thank you' for putting my life on the line? Shame on you." The tactician teased lightheartedly.
She blinked slowly, listening to what Ephraim whispered to her. Another person to fight? She looked over her shoulder for a second. Ganon was preoccupied with Abel, Blossom was out-cold, Chad was fighting three at once, and Ghis was fighting someone already. The other soldiers, too, were locked in combat. She turned back. "Not sure if there is anyone I can get..." She murmured softly to the noble.

Nodding along at what she observed, he gave a final nod before speaking up again "I can handle two then, you'll have to brace yourself against a hero..can you do that?" Ephraim questioned, he wasn't quite sure how the tactition handled herself in battle but if she was willing to come out here with a sword already in hand, surenly she can handle herself and Ephraim wasn't about to let her handle two.
Two, Ephraim was almost confident he could handle but he couldn't handle all three attacking him at once. Maybe two will lessen the damage he's taking and separate them from each other, they just needed to get it started.
