Well yeah, but at least the next best thing happened. Athrun beat the s**t out of him...the sad part was, shin was in seed mode, and Athrun was just normal.

Shin goes into that mode because he wants to defeat Athrun and the fight was getting intense...not that it helped him much.

Well Athrun is so skilled it is actually sad. I mean Kira is supposed to bethis ultimate coordinator, and Athrun is just a notmal coordinator and yet he is just as skilled.

Yeah kind of like that...only Zechs would beat the hell out of both Shin and Athrun.
