Tinania smiles to the clerk before she shakes her head "Its alright, we didn't mind waiting at all." glancing towards the kids, she chuckles before looking over the colors the clerk brought "Yes these will work just fine. I hope it wasn't hard getting them off the palettes." unfolding her wings for a moment, she place her hands behind her back trying to relax for a moment.
Seiji smiles before he continues to flip through the pages. His tail sways back and forth as he eyes each room. Stopping on a room that was covered in a forest, he looks up smiling "That is so cool. Can I get my room to look like that?"
Nirendra giggles before she lays her head back down on Seiji's shoulder. Placing her hand on her stomach, she frowns "Time to eat?"

"Nah." the clerk assured her. "Just a pain trying to find what I'm looking for when they aren't in the usual place." He punctuated the end of his statement by lifting the last can onto the countertop. "There we go..." he smiled. "That gonna be it for you today? Would you like to look at some wallpapers or stencils or anything?"
"Thanks, but I think people are starting to get hungry." Zhane said with a chuckle, looking to Ren and Seiji. "We might be back another time, though."
"Sure thing." the young man said with a smile, beginning to load the paint cans into the basket Nani toted with her. "If you guys wanna just follow me to the register, then, I'll get ya rung up and out of here so you can get some food."

Tinania nods to the clerk then follows him. She thought for a moment about stencils, only to shake her head. Looking towards Seiji, she runs her fingers through his hair "You getting excited about painting?" she was glad to see he was relaxing around Zhane.
Seiji smiles before he nods alittle "Yea, its going to be really fun. I can't wait to see how the room looks in the end." unfolding his wings, he moves over to the checkout stand. Standing on his top toe, he attempts to reach for the can of paint.
Clapping her hands, Ren giggles as she plants a small kiss to Zhane's cheek "Yay food!!" she was glad they would be eating soon. Then they would paint, so the day just got even greater.

Getting checked out didn't take terribly long, and soon the paint was loaded into the car's small trunkspace and, after some hasty debate over where they were getting food, they sat in line at the drive-thru of one of Gaia's generic burger joints, waiting to move up to the window to pay for what they'd ordered.
Zhane ordinarily avoided these places as, after sitting in one spot inhaling car exhaust for about fifteen minutes, he oddly wasn't hungry by the time he actually received his food. The breeze today, however, seemed to be in their favor.
Now and again, he looked to Nani, making sure she was faring all right.

Tinania wasn't really paying attention to anyone in the car. her eyes were actually forced on the dealership across the street. More important, the green SUV that had caught her attention. Shaking her head, she closes her eyes as she takes a deep breath.
Seiji eyes were also close, but for another reason altogether. With the sun over head, it was bugging his eyes just alittle. Lifting his hand, he attempts to block the sun from his eyes "So are we going anywhere else after lunch?"
Ren was actually the only one that didn't say anything. She was falling asleep the moment she was placed into her car seat. Yawning, she makes a face as she opens her eyes "Food?"

Zhane shook his head. "I didn't plan on it...unless you had somewhere in mind?" he asked, looking to Nani expectantly for her answer. "Figured we'd go home, eat, let Ren take her nap, and figure it out from there..."
It seemed like a solid plan as far as he was concerned, anyway. But then, he was fairly easy to please as far as schedules went. As long as things got done in some semblance of timely, he was happy.
That and keeping any sort of a static schedule lately had been difficult as Nani's needs had been sporadic. She seemed just as likely to want to rest in bed all day as she did to want to be all over the house helping everyone with everything. As such, he'd found it easiest to simply roll with whatever was presented.

Tinania glances at Zhane, before looking back at the two kids. Chewing on her bottom lip, she looks back to Zhane "What if we drop the kids off at home, then come back to get a few more items. That way they can eat and nap, and we can get a few more items." it was her silent way of telling Zhane she wanted to do something without the kids.
Seiji arches a brow before he shakes his head. Looking over to Ren, he smiles at his little cousin. She was sleepy, and he wouldn't admit that he was also. Lifting a hand, he quickly rubs at his eyes as he covers up a small yawn.

He blinked, arching a brow at her in mild surprise. "Sure, we could do that, I suppose." he nodded, though his gaze tried to probe hers for what might be on her mind.
A horn blipped behind them, making him jolt, realizing the line had moved when he hadn't been looking. "All right, all right...." he said, giving a small 'sorry' wave to the person behind them as he pulled the car up in line. ".....jackass...." he muttered under his breath so that Ren and Seiji wouldn't hear.

With a smile Tinania nods as she turns to look out the window again. Brushing her fingers over his hand, she was letting him know she would explain more later. Right now, she just wanted to let him know she had something to do.
Blinking, Seiji attempts to see the car behind them as he frowns. Why was he being so mean? It wasn't like they were not moving, and it was only for a second. Crossing his arms, he shakes his head as he looks up towards the front mirror "He was rude."
The horn however did awake Ren, and now she was pouting as she attempts not to cry. Rubbing at her eyes, she sniffles before she shakes her head "I wanna go home.."

Glancing down to her fingers on his hand, he turned his own palm-up, holding hers for a moment before letting it go. All right... the gesture said. We'll talk more about it later.
"Yeah he kinda was." Zhane then agreed with Seiji. "Probably just in a hurry, though. Don't worry about it, he'll only know us for a few more minutes anyway."
The car ahead of them pulled away after receiving its order and he took its place, handing the girl at the window the payment and, shortly following, being handed back a few paper bags. He didn't waste time going through the bags to make sure everything was right, wanting to avoid a circus before it could get started as he pulled them out of the lot and back onto the street.
"We're on our way, Ren, its all right." he assured her.

Tinania glances back at Ren, making a silly face at her. When the little girl giggles then hides her face, Tinania smiles as she looks at Seiji "Would you play with her, until we get home?" carefully setting the bags down on the floor in front of her, she lays her head slightly on the head rest.
Seiji smiles before he turns alittle, hiding his own face. When Ren pulls his hands away from his face, he gasps then hides it once again. This brings a storm of giggles from the little dragon as she attempts to pull his hands free again.

With Nani and Seiji having diffused the situation, the ride back to the haven was a quiet one with little incident. As he put the car in park and killed the engine in front of Nani's house, Zhane tried not to wonder too terribly much about what Nani needed to discuss with him so suddenly.
If it were bad she would have told him earlier, right....?
He liked to think so, at least. Collecting the bags from where they were bunched at Nani's feet, he climbed out of the car again.
"You want your lunch first, Ren? Or feel like a nap for now?" he asked the little girl. It wasn't like the burgers were going anywhere if they sat for a bit longer. Zhane had a theory that fast food never went bad....it just solidified if left to its own devices for too long.

Tinania slips out of the car, only to climb into the back seat to help Ren out from her car seat. Climbing back out of the car, Tinania moves towards the door to pop it open for Zhane. She couldn't wait to get out on the road to talk to Zhane. Her only hope was it wasn't so far out there, he thought she gone crazy on him.
Walking down the stairs to the living room, Seiji glances around before he waves to Rose and Kayla. Both of the felines were sitting on the couch watching TV "We brought food home. Mom and Zhane are going back out." turning away from the confused felines he walks into the kitchen.
Rose and Kayla didn't say anything, all they did was look at each other. What ever Tinania wanted to do, it didn't involve the kids it seems.
Nirendra stood there for a moment, looking to the brown back then back at Zhane. Lifting her small thumb to her lips, she points at the brown back before she smiles "Food please."

Zhane smiled, bending to pick her up as they headed into the house after Seiji. "You got it." he told her.
Shortly....
They had asked him if something was wrong. If it was something concerning him and Nani, or if there had been a problem recently with the baby. Zhane had been forced to tell them that he didn't know...
....for the simple reason that he didn't.
After the kids had been settled in with their lunch, he had gone out to wait outside for Nani as she finished checking on things. The more he told himself not to be antsy about it, the more he was. There were few things she didn't want Seiji, Ren, or Lexi sitting in on...
Stop it. Just stop. Wait at least until you hear what she has to say It was good advice. And he planned to follow it as best as he was able.

Walking up the stairs, Tinania pauses as she watches Zhane for a moment. Leaning slightly against the door frame, she runs her hand over her stomach "So your probably wondering why I want to get you alone?" stepping away from the door, she closes it before walking over the car.
Running her fingers across the paint on the hood, she looks away from it as she chews on her bottom lip "I want to trade this car in, and get a new one. But I want your help picking it out."
