Nite's shadow dropped back into the ground. He inhales the air deeply catching Maya's scent. "A newcomer eh? One who thinks she knows the true intent of a Hunter." His words slid off his lips with a cold tone. He snickered as he turned and walked away toward the courtyard.
Ryu took a deep breath as he sheathed his blade. He didn't speak only walk in the opposite direction of Nite toward the Day dorm. He was angry at himself because he knew Maya was right but he deals with the same crap from Nite every time he sees him. He was just getting tired of it. He looked at his watch. Two hours to go before Twilight classes were over with. He entered the Twilight gymnasium as he spotted a few Hunters speaking to a couple of Twilight students. He walked up into the bleachers and took a seat awaiting the bell to ring.

Maya looked ahead and watched Ryu walk away. She whispered to herself while on the way to class. " Damn I was so far out of line, I just didn't want him getting hurt, and the respect he tried so hard to earn. Who was that guy anyways?"

Nite followed from the shadows not even giving off the slightest clue he was following her. Nite sent his shadow and used its "eyes" to watch Maya go to her next class. Fortunately for him she was heading for his next class. He gave a slight smile but it quickly faded. His shadow returned to him as he continue to follow her.
Ryu sighed as class started. It seemed there was a basketball game today. The students seemed to be enjoying themselves. A fellow Hunter was reffing the game. Ryu smiled as he remembered being referee when he started his Hunter training. It was pretty challenging since you had to look out for any of the Twilight students cheating with their powers.

Maya shivered as the overwhelming feeling that someone was watching her came over her. She sped up a little and went invisible until she reached the dim light of History class. She then became openly visible and took her seat.

Nite entered the classroom and took a seat in the back row. He propped his feet upon the table. He didn't even look at Maya but was fully aware of her being there. As class started he placed his feet upon the floor. He gave a slight smile as he could feel her nervousness.

Maya saw Nite and instantly knew he had been following her. She got up and walked back to him in a rage. " Look you sick freak I know your mad that I took away the chance to openly get your a** kicked by Ryu, but follow me again and I will hurt you myself."

Nite only snickered at Maya. She was so oblivious of what power could decimate any person with a slight demon power to the depths of hell. Even though he too was a demon he still learned how to use a Hunter's purifying magic. She may had been right about Ryu beating the crap out of him but he knew Ryu would never have gone that far. The teacher told Maya to take a seat while he asked Nite if there was a problem. "No just a misunderstanding. Sorry for interrupting your lesson. Please continue." He said smiling while he leaned back into his seat.

Maya looked at her teacher defiantly, " You let creeps like that become Hunters? What else are you gonna do? Bring witchhunters to tour the school?" Maya said as she sat down finished history early and left class without permission. She was so pissed she went to the gym and saw Ryu but she just flew to the roof to think. She was on the roof of the gym and could clearly hear most conversations.

Nite rose from his seat as class ended. He apologized to the teacher for Maya's behavior even though the teacher was completely clueless. "Don't worry she is just a newbie." He exited the building into the courtyard where he watched a few students discuss gossip. He felt satisfied that he could pretty much creep under anyone's skin.
Ryu walked out of the gym rubbing his eyes. "One more class to go. What a night." He said to himself. He cracked his knuckles and headed towards the courtyard where he saw Nite but he kept his distance and didn't want another conflict. Especially not in front of the students who would actually encourage the fighting.

Maya flew over to Ryu and looked at him curiously. " Do you have any control over that demon? He FOLLOWED me to class, he was literally invisible until he got to class and sat down. He is such a creep how did he become a Hunter, he's the most dangerous thing in here you guys are supposed to 'protect'" Maya said as she landed on the ground and began to walk.

Ryu looked over to Maya. "Well, there is a difficult way to becoming a Hunter and although he is a creep. He passed a test in becoming one." He said as he started walking with her. "He tends to bend the rules most of the time but his intentions remain just to the trainers and the Headmaster. I know of his 'invisible trait but it is really his shadow manipulation power which allows him to stay a good distance from any person he follows allowing him to get the jump on them. It is almost impossible to notice it but it actually is impossible for demon, vampires, or lycans to detect it though." After saying this the bell for the next class rang. Ryu looked over seeing Nite leave for class. He then looked at Maya. "Well, I guess you better go before you're late." He said as he smiled at her.

Once she was sure Nite was gone Maya smiled. " If he starts stalking me am I alloud to be afraid?" Mays asked as she kissed Ryu's cheek and headed for class.

Ryu watched Maya walk towards class. She was very friendly to him for some reason but he didn't have time to think about it right now. He smiled and walked towards the fountain. He took a sat next to a fellow Hunter who had a cigarette lit in his mouth. Ryu rubbed his eyes as he awaited time to fly by. He needed some sleep and some time away from Nite. Hopefully Nite didn't have patrol tomorrow during the Day classes.

Maya was just about to take her seat when a teacher handed her a note to go see Nite, the hunter and where to find him. Maya crumpled the note but knew she had to go so she made ehr way to Nite's class, Gym. Maya stood there as a few vampire boys checked her out, Maya gave Nite an icy stare and curtly said " you wanted me."

Nite was silent. He didn't know where to start. Whether it be her ignorance or assumptions on Hunters or her infatuation with a Hunter. "How do you plan to fit in?" He said simply as he turned to face her. His gaze icy cold as his pupils flared red to a yellowish orange.
