Zeleria Masquanade wow this thread exploded eek Aiiii....Who needs the Chatterbox when there's Whatever? And see...the conversation doesn't even have to stoop to "bumping". A victory for us all! blaugh I never said it had to lower itself to a bumping level. stare I've never seen a guild with a thread like this (kind of an off topic thread- which usually they are labeled as chatterbox threads) ever have bumping in them. It's really something you don't do in guilds. sweatdrop Noting from personal experience, well GGN guilds . . . sweatdrop

I go to Colorado State. I think they did it because a lot of students were taking the whole week off anyway (and usually there's a good portion of students gone the friday before). At University of Colorado at Boulder , they get a 2-day break like the same week as columbus day, but only get 3 days off at Thanksgiving.
We also always have our spring break ridiculously early. this year it's the 14-19th, it has be a week earlier though.

^^ thanx tho i kinda wish i had another year. my school has a really good exchange student program with some schools in Japan. I'd so apply... but since i won't be a student next year i can't sweatdrop I'm kinda on edge cause i have no idea what i'm gonna do after i graduate...i'm thinking of appying for JET ^^ tho the application for this year was due back in Dec so i can't apply for it for next year until Dec...well i can apply now but well the decition won't be made til Next Jan... so that's waiting one whole year to see if i get into JET which leaves a whole year to fill in the mean time... i've been looking into other oppertuinies to work in Japan tho ^^ it's kinda exciting and terrifining at the same time ^^

Eh, whatever.
...Sorry, I had to do it! (No one else had!)
In somewhat boring (to everyone but me) news, I've been with my boyfriend for 1 1/2 years, now. Everyone celebrate my semi-anniversary.
Does anyone have a lucky number? I have a lucky number. It's 9. Everything good happens on the 9th of some month. I was born, my boyfriend was born, Johnny Depp was born... not all on the same 9th, but on a 9th none the less. My favorite multiplication table is 9.
Okay, now i'm just rambling.
But hey, whatever.
(Okay, twice in one post, do I get egged or something? xd )

Mimeiko- yes you get egged. whee heart heart THat's great about your boyfriend and stuff. I myself am kind of anti-relatioshipal but i have had my share of problems. As far as lucky numbers go . . . I would guess 13. That's cliche I know but I was born on the 13 (on a friday too) and so ta da?
Kazeko- It's my senior year too. I plan on going to either a really expensive art college OR a private local college. One of the two. And really my senior year hasn't been so bad. The only thing stressful I've done is applying for college and visiting them. I'm finished up my last required class this quarter and the rest of my classes are kind of fun laid back classes. Last year was hell for me though as I crammed all my required stuff into that year.

*is egged* biggrin
I'd rather be lucky on the 13 than unlucky! How fun it much be when your b-day's on a friday! eek
I'm a senior too! but I'm taking a year off when I get out of high school, because I'm moving to California and I want to get residency established so I don't have to pay a billion dollars per semester. sweatdrop
Masquanade-san, what kind of art do you do? Drawing, painting? I would LOOOOOVE to be able to do those things, but the closest I get to painting is Japanese calligraphy.

Kazeko - congrats on graduating this semester. I'm a senior, but I have another year. I want to minor in Japanese, and also my department (I'm a fine arts major) kind of screws you over because there are so many requirment for art, and they suggest a very specific schedual, but you can't even be an art major until you have 15 credits and a 3.0 or above, so most art majors have to at least be there 4.5 years anyway. I didn't declare until my sophomore year, so I decided to take my time. (It helps when you're going to a state school and live at home biggrin ) We have a good program going with Kansai Gaidai University outside of Kyoto, I *could* make time for it, but it would require some summer school.
I'm also planning to apply for JET this fall so I can do it in 2006. That will be nice to tell my graphic teachers. "So, Lauren, you just got your graphic design degree, what will you do now?" I'm going to Japan for a year, and when I come back I won't remember anything you taught me,"
Masquanade - good luck with applying and all, are you looking at going to Savannah or something? (expensive schools scared me when I was in highschool)
mimeiko - happy 18 month anniversary! Relationships and me . . . we just don't get along. I always end up liking guys with girlfriends (this years no exception). Any boyfirend of mine would be the most neglected boyfriend in the world, I'm just too lazy.
My lucky number is 23, I was born on Oct 23rd, and I don't know, it's a prime number so that's cool. biggrin

Oh yay, everyone's replying to my question. biggrin
Good luck with JET, Freakezette-san!
What's funny is so far everyone's lucky number is their birthday, and it took me 18 years to realize that mine is too. sweatdrop Sometimes I'm so special I scare myself. (Yes, special as in special ed) sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop
