Nobody mentioned Terry Brooks or David and Lee Eddings or JRR Tolkien?

By the way I loved R A Salvatore and Sanderson and also the Wheel of Time books (soon to have the last one out, hurrah!) Harry Potter and the Inkheart books.....etc.

I think I'll wait for the movies, he-he. xd

After all, it's pretty difficult for me to buy a book. Especially these days! 3nodding

Wow! How is it that I haven't posted to this thread yet?

1. Lord of the Rings/Hobbit/Silmarillion/all related works. I just love anything and everything about Middle-earth.

2. Forgotten Realms: Songs and Swords series. Hands down, Danilo, Arilyn, and Elaith are the best characters in the entire FR mythos.

3. Slayers series. I just wish the rest of the novels were translated. Viz only decided to go up through number eight which irritates the hell out of me.

I'm also in the process of reading Deltora Quest, slowly but surely in my complete lack of free time.

Not meaning to be nosy - but why is it especially hard these days? Is your country in this down-turned market as well? I know I have budgeted a lot harder in the last couple of years!

Well, isn't there a movie for every popular book these days? When Hollywood can't seem to produce an original concept for a movie, they turn to books, me thinks...

Hey Berz!
So... Deltora Quest? How is it? What is it about? I just finished reading Homer's The Odyssey, just FYI...

Hi MsJo! You can ask me anything, ok my dear lady?
Just so you know, so far I don't have a steady job so I can't afford a lot of things and since I am more of a fan of video games, I tend to get a game before I buy a book, he-he.
Also, I am not exactly sure if there's a nearby place where I can get any good books in the first place.

That would be hard for me not to be able to just run to the library or the Barnes and Noble or Borders! I play some games, but I am a much more voracious reader!

Really? I guess yer right if I haven't been able to find a copy, he-he.

That's great MsJo! I'm glad you have time for reading. I used to have lots too but it was mostly during my school years. Have you ever read either The Odyssey or the Iliad by Homer?
Do you have any favorite book right now?
