O I just remembered the creepiest experience I ever had @ a church. It was a Pentecostal church, you know the kind where the dude is saying he has the power bestowed on him by God himself to heal, yeah. Anyhow, this guy is standing on stage smacking people on the head and there falling over and he is "healing" them. The whole time, I have this feeling, this kinda chill, then the guy looks me right in the eyes, and kinda pauses for a split second, and I'm horrified to the point of numbness (this doesn't happen often) the his Droogs kinda swarm me, asking if I wanna go up and get smacked in the head. Of corse I said no, but they all had this look about them. Maybe it was me, but I will never go to anything like that ever again.

Its probably nothing, but still XD Whats Canaanite? Never herd of it. Believing in the ancient gods and practices of Canaan (Modern-day Israel/Palestine/Lebanon...they've got a rather sizable part in the Bible...) It was partly a nomadic tribe culture (they moved around with the herds), but there were a few cities that stayed put. They were big on monotheism as time went on, but were okay with other civilizations having different gods.
Not surprised you don't remember, but I was practicing with that pantheon while we were still together xd .

Yeah she pretty much got it XD
I however try to equally worship each one...
Makes me wonder if they practiced any sorts of magick <.< That would be pretty kewl to learn X3
Again, also looking into Shinto. Its kinda hard to learn much about Canaanites, because no one seems to be interested in them. I do, however, know how to write & read in Canaanite, & I know a couple of words too X3 (By a couple, I mean, at least 100, but still not enough to carry a long conversation or whatever XD)

I remember having a hard time with it, because I felt this intense connection with Astarte (Inanna as well, shes the Sumerian version lol), but had only a few book/online resources as to who she was. Still kinda feel it, but its via another goddess smile ...anyways, thats pretty awesome you can read and write Canaanite though. Not many can.
Shintoism is beautiful. nuff said. 3nodding

I know it was labeled due to its shape and location, but the synchronicity of its pretty cool.

I started searching things about the pagan faith around the age of 12-13. Simply because I had experiences young that no church could answer. So I was brought up in a mormon church for 17.5 years. I finally snapped and said "I'm agnostic".

I stopped "feeling" the Christian religion when I was ten. Then at the young age of twelve I told my whole family that I was agnostic. It didn't go over fantasically, but they left me alone after seeing that I wouldn't come back after a year.
Church is reserved in my life now for my family, if they wish to have a service at the church for their funerals and for my children, as I want them to experiance Christian religion so that they may make a decision when they are about ten or so.
[After that, it is up to them to search for their religious following, although I disagree with Christianity, Islam, Satanism, and Scientology. I will not press upon them though, seeing as everyone has a right to choose their own religions.]
Usually I am confronted with propoganda from Christians with putting pamphlets in New Age and Dream books. Other than that I have never been threatened with church, the bible, or any other threats with religionous things.

I remember going to a chain bookstore (gee guess which aisle I was in 4laugh ) and seeing a person doing that. I was nonchalantly perusing around them, kinda expecting some sort of reaction like them stopping or maybe dropping a few lines to me about my soul burning...It's pretty disrespectful if you think about it. How would they feel about a nice bookmark with a picture of the goddess along with a few blurbs of the rede or the charge?
