The weak signal was picked up by the communications center of the senate. The woman in charge of the place sighed as she routed it to a computer so it could be heard clearer. She nodded in disbeleif as sh listened. Why the hell was the message sent here? She thought. With a few pad strokes she started to reply, though she had to boost the power to do so.

Volt landed his ship on the nearest docking bay to the Senate. The pressurized hydraulics slowly began to open the hatch to his ship. He waited until it was fully open to climb out of the cockpit and walk towards the exit. As he was walking forward his robe flew back from the wind, revealing his lightsaber hanging on his belt when a social worker walked towards him and stopped Volt from going any further. "And where do you think you're going Jedi?" asked the social worker. "I was sent to speak with the Senate...," answered Volt. "Well, fine by me, but first you must pay the docking fee. That would be 50 credits..." Volt, realizing he had no credits on him, turned to the Force for some aid. "I don't need to pay the docking fee," Volt said tampering with the social worker's mind. "You don't need to pay the docking fee...," said the social worker. "You will take me to the Senate." "I will take you to the Senate..." "Lead the way." The social worker turned around and began to walk towards the Senate while Volt followed closely behind...

A security camera zoomed back out, and went back to its duties. It had just recorded something very good, and the security booth knew it. It would be held untill the meeting started. The security booth called whomever needed to tell the senators, and they inturn called all the senators. The trail was about to begin.

((Ladies?! >.< *zaps you with Force Lightning* DIE! scream ))
The social worker stopped and pointed out the building, then turned around and headed back to his post. Volt gazed apon the large structure and entered the building. "Greetings, Jedi," said a droid as it began to clank his way towards Volt. "I was sent to speak with the Senate," said Volt with a calm voice. "Yes, I know. You are the Jedi sent to speak with the Senate. Unfortunately the Senate is still gathering at the moment. While you wait, Jedi, I suggest you stay in the suite we have prepared for you when you would arrive." The droid clanked off back behind the desk where he had come from and sent a Senate Offical to guide Volt to his room.

The Senate Official opened the door to the suite and then stepped aside. "Here it is, sir," said the Senate Official and turned around and left. Volt watched as the man left. As soon as the Senate Official was out of sight, he turned around and walked into his suite. He was dumbstruck as his gazed at the magnificent room the Senate had prepared for him. "Maybe the Senate is not as bad as people say they are..." He walked to the middle of the room and looked at his surroundings.
The living area was well decorated with astonishing paintings by many famous artists. Healthy and green plants were placed at every corner of the suite. The furniture seemed to be of the best quality in the galaxy. Volt ran his hands against the couch, carefully examining it. The leather around it was very cold, but nice nonetheless. It was also very soft and well cushioned. The armchair across the couch seemed to be the same.
Volt walked into the bedroom, finding it similarly decorated. The bed, like the couch, was also soft. The sheets were made of silk and the pillows stuffed with feathers. A door on the other side of the room led to the bathroom, which was also decorated nicely.
The trial soon to begin, Volt was no where near presentable. His body was covered in filth and dried blood from his journey across Korriban to reach the Jedi Camp. He turned the knobs of the bath and watched as the water poured out of the faucet and fill the tub. Volt began to disrobe, tossing his clothes into the bedroom, along with his lightsaber. He slowly sank into the tub and began to bathe...

((Rubs her backside where the force lightning hit *ouchie*))
Relina made ready to hear the so called "trial" of the Jedi. As soon as the proceedings began she was in her senatorial box waiting calmly for the fruits of her idea to be plucked by the thousand greedy senators around her. I sure hope this was worth it... Despite her inner doubts, Relina maintained a confident outward pose that only her closest advisors would be able to see through.

((I'm here! I'm here! *zaps you back*))
It is during Aria's late afternoon tea time that the young Hapan Senator is summoned to the Rotunda. She is surprised by the sheer efficiency of the Senate and quickly prepares to leave.
The "trial" is about to begin, M'Lady. We should make haste, Dione tells her as she helps the fiery-haired Senator into a new gown. Her hair is still wet from the nice long bath she took earlier and while Aria puts on her earrings, her handmaiden quickly brushes out her long tresses and ties the young woman's hair up in a pretty up-do.
Your transport awaits, Captain Aya announces as the dark-haired woman enters the Senator's chambers, flanked by a half-dozen Royal Guards.
Aria nods in acknowledgement and hurries out of her quarters with her entourage. Within minutes, the transport is speeding towards the Senatorial Rotunda. As Aria watches the scenery fly by, she wonders about what will transpire during the coming meeting. The fate of the Jedi could very well be decided tonight.... she thinks.
When the transport pulls up in front of the steps of the rotunda, the Hapan Senator and her entourage quickly climb the steps and hurry into the large arena. Aria shakes her head with a sad smile, recalling her earlier "late" arrival. Upon approaching the box reserved for the Hapan diplomatic party, Aria slows her pace, smooths her gown and puts on a face of complete confident composure. Pushing the curtain back, she steps onto the platform and takes a seat, her piercing eyes scanning her surroundings while she tries to get a "sense" of the general air of the Senate.

Volt stares at the wall in front of him as he lays in the bath tub await for the trial to begin. He feels relaxed as the result of the hot water and he slowly began to fall into deep thought.
"This trial could very well determine the fate of the Jedi. What if... What if I fail? We'll all be arrested, slaughtered, or even forced to pull away from the Force, which will be unbalanced either way. How could the people just turn on us like this? We've been their protectors for years!"
Volt's thoughts were interrupted by a loud knocking at the suite's door, followed by a man talking. "Jedi, the trail is about to begin! Hurry!" Realizing how fast the time has gone by as he was in thought, he jumped out of the tub and quickly began to dry off. Barely putting on his pants, he hopped out of the front door and fell forwards on his face as he tried to put on his pants. He quickly stood back up and pulled up his pants, securing it tightly with his belt which his lightsaber was clipped too. With his shoes in one hand and the rest of his robe in the other, he began to run down the stairs to the first floor to attend the trial.
By the timed he reached the first floor, he was fully dressed and somewhat presentable. He pulled back the curtains and walked to the center of the room.

((WAIT, The republic needs to be here. Will make Gordens App right away!))
Waking up the Republic Representative turned to look at the time and he was shocked. The trial was going to begin without him! Getting up with all due haste Gorden rushed about sending messages to his Aids who were allready there! Feeling ashamed Gorden quickly grabbed his Diplomats Cloths on and rushed out to his Speeder, his pilot was already there and smiling, Gorden had a habit of being a bit late, but he always was the best Talker. The Pilot rushed him to the Senate and as soon as he hit the ground his Aids were upon him giving out advice saying that we should stay nuetrel. But everyone knew that Gorden wouldent, he had served under the Jedi at one point in his Life and he knew the Jedi would never hurt people unless it served the greater good. Walking onto his Platform he took his seat, he looked down and saw the Jedi on his platform waitng to be tried.

It seemed a few senators were still being waited on before the formal beginning of the "trial" would commence and Relina was getting impatient.
"Merl."
"Yes, Senator?" Her aide stepped forward so Relina would not have to turn away from the Senate to address her.
"What were the latest informal statistics for the Senate's position on this issue?"
Looking blank for a moment, Merl took a second to respond. "It's really too difficult to be sure. The most vociferous of the supporters and detractors have made a clear stance but other than those few no one seemed inclined to be quoted as for the Jedi or against them. We could look at that in two ways. One, the Senate is still greatly sympathetic to the history of the Jedi and the Old Republic and is not inclined to write them off just yet. Or two, they are sympathetic to the Jedi but unwilling to put aside recent hurts that have been attributed to them as the Jedi are an easy scapegoat and, until now, have been a faceless demon the Senate could blame for the various troubles of the galaxy." Merl rattled the statements from memory as easily as they had been stated yesterday by Relina herself. Knowing her mistress's sometimes odd tendencies Merl didn't bother to ask why Relina would request a repeat of that information.
Keeping a small smile from playing across her lips, Relina continued to repeat their conversation from the previous day. "And who is the ambassador the Jedi have chosen to send to us for this trial?"

The constant stares from the Senate made the hairs on the back of Volt's neck rise. He knew what they were thinking... he didn't even need to use the Force. The Senate is an open book. "The Jedi are guilty, the Jedi are guilty, the Jedi are guilty."
((Yeah, I didn't know what else to put... sweatdrop Eh...))

Aria leans forward in her seat, studying the Jedi Ambassador upon his arrival. She can sense his discomfort and is sympathetic. If she was the one standing in center stage of the great rotunda in front of an audience more or less unsympathetic and bitter, she would be just as uncomfortable, if not more. As she waits for the Chancellor to begin the proceedings, she continues to watch the Jedi and decides she greatly respects him for agreeing to come before the Senate. No matter what happens tonight, I will have to make a point of organizing a meeting between myself, the Corellian Senator, and this Jedi. I fear no good will come of this "trial" and it is only matter of time before the Galaxy wide Witch-Hunt begins. Hapes will have no part...

"Jedi Volt. I believe he is a only a Jedi Knight, not a master or a member of their council, but we'll find that out once the trial starts. It really matters little, what he has to say, since most of the Senate has already made up it's minds, been bribed to a position, or has been threatened one way or the other."
"But we don't know who was doing the bribing or threatening," Relina said, more as a statement than a question.
"No. And none of Corellia's allies have had any luck in finding out either," Merl responded. Wondering a moment, she asked, "What will happen to the Jedi if the vote goes against him?"
Relina almost reacted by arching her eyebrows but managed to keep her face impassive as she thought through possible scenarios. "I would hope the Senate possesses the foresight to allow him to return home in peace, and gives other known Jedi a period of truce in which they may voluntarily remove themselves from worlds under Alliance control." At this Relina frowned, forgetting that she was supposed to be keeping a sagely appearance in front of the Senate. The mutters that started were almost immediate until she returned her face back to an unreadable mask. Sighing to herself and ignoring the stir, Relina continued talking to her aide. "The Senate has not been known recently for it's foresight. And I have a feeling the Imperials will do what they can to stir up trouble should they win the vote."
"What will you do in that event?"
"What is best for Corellia. And the rest of the Galaxy be damned."

*A trail of light flashed across the sky. Like a meteor, a shooting star, a glimmer of hope.*
"T-70 X-Wing starfighter requesting to land."
*A voice blared over the control tower. An old vehicle encirling the system from above. Waiting... Waiting for a reply...*
