"Huttser....." Midnight Flight reapeated his name. She had heard his name before. "So do you belong in the pack of this area?I am from quite a long ways away.I was going to ask to come into your pack but, the fire happened. I had a pretty bad expeirience last time I tried to join a pack..." She said thinking of the memory. She shuddered. "Ravenfur get poppy seed for Huttser." she shouted to the young pup walking around. "What for?" He replied questionly. "It should ease some of his pain.And don`t go eating gutberries anymore.It gets pretty messy." "Yes Midnight. I know."he answered running to get the seeds. Within a second he was back with the seeds. "Good you are getting better. I might even teach more." Midnight Flight praised proud of the pups quick find. "Here this should ease the pain if you eat it. You are strong enough to chew it. So that is good. It might taste a bit bitter so you can have some meat after."she poked the seeds over to him.

Midnight Flight paused and coughed. "Well ummm.... My mother was the healer of the pack. And well she tought me everything she knew. Before she died..."Midnight Flight replied quietly. She followed Huttser through the forest. Ravenfur was pacing quietly behind them. "Where are we going anyways? And why were you just laying in the middle of the clearing? That was dangerous." Midnight Flight questioned concernely.

Mdnight Flight saw Huttser running right behind her. Of course she understood. She knew what he meant. She was always the odd one of the family. She took after her mom and even looked like her. Her father was always mad at her because of that. "The Elk is kind of big for just two grown wolves and a puppy. She said pointing her muzzle at Ravenfur. "Midnight I am getting tired. bt, I think I can take it on." Ravenfur said acting tough. "No Raven that Elk could kill you. Huttser and I will get it." she replied sternly. He listened. As Midnight Flight closed in on the Elk. The Elk hadn`t noticed the wolves closing in on him. Huttser came in from one side and she went on the other. They both pounced on the Elk and took it down. Within minutes they were eating. Ravenfur waited until they had eaten some and then started. Midnight Flight liked both of the boys. She hoped that she could stay with them for a long time. She liked the idea of this little group. With that last thought she fell asleep.

Huttser stood beside Midnight Flight, holding a chunk of meat. The elk was burned slightly. More of the reason why it tasted so good. "Hah, I know see why hunters use fire for cooking at their silly campouts. This is delicious." Huttser growled, laughing. He looked over at her. She had suddenly stopped eating, looking away in the distance. "Did you hear that?" she whispered, nodding her head toward a cabin. "It was a wolf." Huttser looked up suddenly. "I know that howl.." He took off suddenly, running toward the cabin. Smoke and fog bluried his view slightly, but he perked up his ears and squinted. He turned and saw Midnight Flight right next to him. They finally got to the cabin, panting. "Brother?" huttser called through the doorway. "Brother are you here?"

Huttser nodded, knowing this was a suicide mission. But then again, perhaps these wolves would be his new friends, his new family. He eagerly smiled to himself, and Midnight stared at him with a strange look on her face. He shook his head and put his sturdy look back on. He looked over to his wound as did Midnight. It was bleeding again. "********..." He mumbled. "Will you be ok?" She pondered uncertainly. "Yes. Yes... I'll be fine..." He grumbled and whined a bit. Midnight went into the hole, digging partially with her front paws. After 14 minutes, Huttser suddenly heard howling, followed by moaning and a terrorfied whimper. "MIDNIGHT!" He yelled with fear engulfing his limbs. He sprinted in the hole as fast as he could, and saw a human swing an axe at a strange black wolf he somehow recognized. The wolf leaped out of the way and bit the human in the leg. The human struggled a bit, then punched the wolf as he cursed at it. Huttser leaped at the human, just as he raised his axe to Midnight, and bit his neck as hard as he could. The human sprawled, falling over gagging blood, and slowly died. His cold hand dropped the axe, and he died in the corner from choking on his own blood. The black wolf suddenly started laughing, and Huttser turned and looked at him. "Im sorry Ive just never seen such... ingenuity..." he said while laughing more. Huttser chuckled. "Then you must be looking towards the wrong wolf. Im a nothing, a sadness to life." He said. "Well I guess that makes two of us." The black wolf said proudly smiling as he did so.

Huttser smiled to himself again, as he watched Midnight talk to the black wolf. He loved how this small pack was starting to ban together. He felt so close to everyone. But Huttser thought to himself sadly, the only reason I like them so much is because their the first wolves Ive actually met... He ignored his own sadness and walked over to Midnight and the black wolf. "Mmm is he alright?" Huttser mumbled in his usual tone. "Well he seems to have some internal bleeding but other than that I think hes alright. That'll wear off eventually." She replied. She looked over at Huttser, and gave him a small smile. "Are you alright?" She asked quickly, her expression suddenly changing stern. "You know, Im actually starting to feel alot better." he said, giving Midnight a large smile. She giggled, and turned back to Ravenfur, who ran up carrying more vile ingredients. "Your not going to make me eat s**t again are you?" He said playful. "Oh shut up, Huttser. Its not for you." She said as she tended to the black wolves wound again. Huttser looked down. He knew nothing of socializing, and knew this. He would give up in the jokes. Besides, now was no joking matter. There could possibly be more humans in the area. It suddenly dawned on him. "Wait... Midnight. That cabin. It was much too big to home just a single human.." Before he could even finish, Midnight looked up, eyes wide open. "We have to leave" She said, dropping all her things and sprinting off. "Come with us, Stranger. We will tend to you till you are healthy once more." She yelled toward the black wolf. The wolf stood up, smirking towards Huttser, then ran off.

The black wolf chuckled, "Heh, thats not important." He said, as he quickly gulped down his food. "Ive been a loner, just like ******** or whats his faces name is." He said between bites. "For all I know, I may have been the cause of your brother, or sisters death, and you would never know." He gave her a sure smile before he continued eating. Midnight looked at him strangely, then walked off towards Huttser and Ravenfur again, who were playfully snapping at one another. "Hes strange." Midnight interrupted. "I dont trust him. At all." She mumbled. "We should ditch him." Huttser replied, giving a evillish crooked smile.
