How about a monochrome theme? Make an outfit out of all different shades of a single color?

Would White/Gold/Silver accents count?

I think you can as long as it fits into the color scheme. Like you could have gold in a yellow monotone or silver in a black/white monochrome. I forget the specifics... I haven't lurked the AT in a while.
It's your theme day, you can make your own rules/exceptions xd

pfft. who cares what the at thinks. Most of them are crazy, egocentric bastards anyway.

rofl Don't pull any punches, do you? Tell us how you really feel about the AT xd
candycrack's guide on different avi styles is pretty useful. But I agree, the "Rating your avi!" threads are just big popularity contests.

weird. spring just happened up top...
Yeah. And the at is like my home lately. lol. I hate it and I love it at the same time.
Sometimes I like to dress up in crappy avis, just so they'll ignore my posts. Oh well. Candycrack's guide is good. And sometimes some fun things happen. (like the asstat arena invasion) And I've gotten up the nerve to start entering contests.
But it's hard, because I'm not all about the matchy matchy s**t that a lot of them are into. I'm more into items that make sense together and match too!

I just noticed that too and went "no wai! We actually get an Easter event this year surprised "
I've thought about entering contests, but I've noticed my idea of a good avi and their ideas clash more often than not confused
Which is funny, because non-matching is a style XD

Yeah, but you know they're all weird about it. Nonmatching is usually clutterfilled or "realistic".
Doing well in the contest depends largely on the judges too which is frustrating. Some can't see past their own style.
