Edward lifted his head quickly, hearing the taunting scratches. The whole metamorphosis was insane and he was a great cause of it. He inhaled sharply, his scent was distant. He left the room, walking swiftly yet quietly searching for Ryu. His revolver was in his hand then, silver bullets in it's place. Ready.

He heard at the last minute the faint footsteps along the other side of the wall. Edward glanced out of the corner of his eyes just as the massive werewolf burst through, his hands were up and he shot at Ryu, moving back nearly tripping over himself to avoid the claws. It grazed his cheek, almost got his eye, which had a few scratches deep within it. He couldnt see that well out of his eye. Instantly thinking oh s**t. Edward placed his hand over his left eye quickly, and flash stepped to the side. While trying to blink for vision. He had to be serious now, you can tell on his expression that he had to be serious and he was going to. Or he would die. Edward placed his hand out flat (The one not holding his eye) and stabbed towards his side with it, breaking the skin at contact.

((Yo' Ryu, he wasn't using his blade right then))

Edward stepped back, still holding his left eye. He was breathing heavily more of the panic with the blindness in his eye. Something he obviously wasn't use to. He was backed up against the wall. Watching Ryu out of his right eye. It was clear that the panic was real in him. But he couldn't get defeated. No that wasn't the option. Everyone out there, they would all be in harm's way if he left Ryu survive and him be sent to Hell. When Ryu stopped and look both ways. Edward stared at him confused. He wasn't sure if he caught that right, but there was definent hesitation. Edward couldn't help but glance for a second as well in confusion. He stopped that realizing that gave him a perfect oportunity to move. Out of the way just in time, Ryu ended up hitting into the wall that Edward was just again. Edward, being behind Ryu then, brought his foot up and kicked him with full force on the back. Kicked him once, then twice, then three times.

He flew back, hitting across the hall into the wall. Edward blinked, he was still trying to figure out why he paused. He also didn't understand when he tried to read his thoughts they were almost mindless. Every creature has their own thoughts that he could read. Edward glanced towards the window with his one good eye again as Ryu charged. "A ruthless newborn lycan main concern is..." He muttered suddenly under his breath. Edward moved just as Ryu would have crashed into him. Edward stared at Ryu, moving back as far as he could in realization to a main reason on his thoughtless minds. "In the end you are just a puppy that can't control anything, Ryu Nawashi." He growled, throwing a sharp punch at the side of Ryu head.

When Ryu stopped so did Edward. He was breathing heavily, almost growling himself deep in his throat. His fists stayed cletched as Ryu shifted. From the silence, Edward pathetically assumed the maybe it was the end now. An end to another empty threat but at his smirk, Edward took a half step back just as the bombs were thrown at him. He didn't have time to move. The speed the came out of took him by surprise as they made contact with his chest. They sent him backwards from the small explosion. He hit through the wall into another room with wide eyes, he still tried to see through his damaged one but no such luck. Damn it... Edward growled, pulling himself up. Deep wounds were burnt through his shirt and appeared on his bare skin. Ryu's right. His newborn lycan abilities lets him heal faster, he may be a bit unstable in his lycan form but still he has the upperhand now. I'm injured and he's perfectly fine. Damn it. He growled, standing up shakily. No Ryu is wrong. I've got this. I've got this... Edward told himself, taking out his gun and shooting blindly through the new opening that the air was covered in debris.

Edward lowered the gun when he knew some bullets got Ryu. He took in a shaky breath. He had to get out of here, get away from Ryu. To heal a bit. To get blood. He swallowed, managing to keep his stance but when Ryu appeared at him. Edward thought of the first thing. The first thing, something he had done a while ago. It probably wouldn't work as effectively for he had loss a lot of blood, was running on empty, and felt like blacking out now. But it was a desperate attempt. Edward closed his eyes tightly and abruptly images flashed into Ryu's mind. They were blurry and choppy but sharp nontheless. Akino's slaughtered body continued to show in Ryu's head, coated in blood and torn fleshed.

His eyes flashed open when Ryu began to speak. His jaw nearly dropped but he stopped himself. The shock was clear on his face. Edward had really expected atleast a short moment to take a deep breath. It nearly humors and edges him on! Oh s**t. Edward pulled his hand back, so when he was close enough he acted on whim. His hand shot out at Ryu's abdomen with such force that his hand actually started to go through Ryu's skin.Though he didn't know how long he could keep this up, Edward had to try.
