"Why?" she tilted her head slightly to the right, then smiled mischievously. "You seem serious all the time... you need a cute name!" She grinned sarcastically. She patted Inu's shoulder then walked to Renji. "Taichou?" She stood beside him.

I was hoping for more of a fight. hollows in soul society. troubling, but nothing we cant handle. hell, I could probably have taken them all myself." he shouldered the nodachi again.*

"What else did he say?" Renji's back was turned to the lieutenants as he waited to hear the responce. His hands rose up to his googgles and pulled them off releasing his hair from its tight pony tail. The crimson hair reached down to his back almost touching they gotei logo. This was very unlike renji, Something was eather bothering him or...
Renji turned and looked at the lieutenants as they fought over names and other things. He put his hair back up and helped Kagaya up from the ground. " Lieutenant Kuroi, After Captain Kagaya's words please escort him to the squad four medical wing for treatment. We will need his strngth later...." His eyes shift to his lieutenant, His eyes seemed diffrent some how as they peered into hers breifly before looking back to Kagaya.

She raised a brow as she stared at her captain's eyes. She felt goosebumps. Renji seemed mad for some reason. "Any orders taichou?" She asked in a soft voice. Looking back at Kagaya.

Up on a grassy knoll, overlooking the scene of the skirmish stood, hidden by the mainy evergreen trees that consumed the forest in such profound shade as to hide the devil's work, stood a lone figure, taking note of the retreating hollows and the soul reapers who had 'claimed' victory.
"Interesting... how very interesting indeed." Spoke the muffled voice of a tanned, young man with a white covering the lower half of his face. He was dressed in a pair of white slacks, black tabi shoes and gloves. His robe was open exposing his bare chest, a large hole appearing where his sternum should have been.
"So it seems, my brethren have lost this battle... and I may have been found out." His head hanging low, causing his dark locks to fall before his eyes. Lifting his head slightly, a stray lock parted to reveal a flash of gold. He chuckled dryly, shaking his head as he straightened up.
"But no matter..." He said, turning to what looked like an open space. Reaching his hand out, his fingers appeared to grasp something and with a quick flick of his arm a rip in the fabric of space appeared before him.
"This was simply the prelude... my full symphony has yet to have been fully heard." Turning his head back to regard the seen once more, his eyes appeared to shimmer as if his unforeseen smile was reaching his golden orbs.
"And it will be heard..." His voice taking on a stony quality before, he refocused ahead and marched onward, the rip disappearing as he delve into the void.
Throughout all of Soul Society and the Human World, if need be...

Her eyes widened, feeling something that made her quiver. She glanced around then glanced at the entrance of the cave. She gripped her hakama tightly. She was scared. The cave's breeze became colder and colder as it blows to them.

Kagaya stood up as best he could, he was still weak. "He had a piece of a captains haori in his hand and he let it go. He said their leader is closer than we think." Kagaya started coughing up blood again. "I'm sorry commander, I shouldn't be this weak." He said as he wiped his mouth with his hakama sleeve.

She slowly glanced at Inu's direction. She was about to open her mouth, but the feeling was too powerful for her. She just nodded then smiled weakly. She was still waiting for her captain's command. She looked away avoiding anyone's eye contact.

Knowing of the deep riatsu he had felt, his eyes narrowed once more. Smething was deeply bothering Renji, he had no idea how to handle himself. Renji reached down bellow Kagaya and gripped the white zanpakuto he had been carrying. "The espada's zanpakuto..." He said quietly, Kagaya had said nothing yet Renji knew what the object was. He turned and started to head to the soul society once again. "Akino Chan?" He said wishing for his lieutenant to follow him. There was something they needed to talk about. It was odd that Renji would just leave the others in a rude fassion. A sigh could be heard from Renji as his head hung lower to the ground than normal.
For the first time, He had no idea what was happening so it seemed. It was the first week into his captain-ship and things where beginning to look grim. The pressure on his sholders was massive. He was the one to carry the gotei much like yamamoto in the past. He on the other hand lacked the wisdom of the former commander and was running off of experiance alone.
While they where a few feet away from the group he said something quetly to his Lieutenant. " I know I seem to be a jerk. I will explain in my office. Please be sure to let the others know I am sorry." He looked back to Kagaya and clsed his eyes bowing slightly giving respect to the hero of the battle.The captain then stepped into shinpo with a loud buzzing sound and out of the area.
