Valter caught up to NoMetal halfway through his sentence.
"Yeah. Alihi wants us to stay in groups, or at least pairs."

Looking around, Nometal then said, "By chance does anyone know if there is a healer nearby? If one of us gets wounded badly, then that won't be good for us."

The blood drained from the swordschimera's face.
Someone had been attacking her comrades while she and Blossom had been out here, having a jolly old time with her old friend, Ganon. She knew about Melethia's being attacked. She had been there. But she had not heard of Rei fighting Amelia to the death. Did something go wrong? Were they mad with each other about something? Who was this Asami-something-or-other who attacked Rei and Nils? That didn't make sense. Asami-something-or-other attacked Rei, and now Rei was fighting Amelia. Was that right?
Her head began to hurt. Maybe this Asami-something-or-other was here, and that was why people were screaming! Should Ed have done a transformation earlier? She didn't transform like laguz. It took her practically hours to do just one, and then she was tired to hell after that!
"Groups?" she managed to answer. "Sounds right. Alihi was always the smart one..." Ed was terribly distracted by her combat dilemma, but she was getting words out. "I dunno about healers. Sorry, NoMetal. Rei and Amelia are fighting right now?"
She took another cautious glance around her as the crowds took detours. An attack might fall upon them at any moment.

Blossom stared at NoMetal, eyes wide with childlike fright. People getting attacked, friends fighting each other to the death? And getting targeted for being alone... I walked here alone! Blossom thought, shivering visibly before looking to Ed, noticing the glint of sunlight on the silvery sheen of her sword.
"Ed! Ed!" Blossom cried. She scrambled over to her, tugging on her shirt in urgency. "Do you have another sword? If someone's attacking the others, we have to help and fight back! Lysander is at my house and I don't have him with me and I'm weaponless! And I don't know any marital arts!"
Blossom looked back to NoMetal and Valter, her bangs whipping against her face before falling back neatly onto her cheeks. "I don't know... and the kids...!" she looked over to the small crowd of children, all quite afraid of this development (or at the least, the appearance of Ed's sword). "We have to help the kids! And we have to help the others! But we can't leave Ganon alone..." Blossom chewed on her thumbnail.
She froze, eyes widening. Alone. Aidan's alone. Aidan's alone. She muffled a scream on her fingers, then looked at Ed. "We have to get to town! Whoever's attacking, they... th-they could get at Aidan! Please!"

"From what I have heard that would be a yes. Other than that, I don't know much. This info is aall new to me. I was out in the forest for too long. Luckily I ran into Ephraim. Yet no healers...that will mean a bit of trouble."
Keeping a hand ready, Nometal would be ready to bring forth his blade in case of any attacks.
"Blossom settle down. Sue and Alihi both went for Eyris. They are going to warn those there."

"B-Blossom, clam it!" Ed blurted, starting to rise in a panic herself with Blossom's reaction. "We'll...everyone'll be all right! Just hold yourself together." Normally Ed was in a confident state, but her old friend was visiting, and children were there, and...
Ed looked apologetically at Blossom. "I don't have a spare..." An idea quickly lit up in her head, however. She suddenly shoved her Aegis sword toward Blossom. "Take mine. I'd like some practice with my bare hands and feet." She glanced down at her spiked boots, glad she had decided to wear them, and with her confidence restored she grinned.
Ed turned to the messengers. "The citizens are being warned? Good. Let's get to town then. Ganon, I'm so sorry about this." The swordschimera sighed and looked in the general direction of town. "Aidan's a fighter, I heard. Don't worry so much."

Ed's reply cought Valter's attention. "Oh, hey. I've got a spare lance if you change your mind, Ed," the Wyvern Knight replied.
Then, turning his attention to Blossom, he said: "She's right, though. Aidan will be fine."

Blossom flinched as both Ed and NoMetal yelled at her, immediately falling silent. Her eyes were still wide and frightened, and she pushed her hair hurriedly off of her face as Ed started to lose it, too. The brightening expression, though, immediately made Blossom look more hopeful.
Getting the sword so abruptly made her nearly lose her balance, but Blossom didn't fall over. "Uh... i-if you're sure!" she cried out uncertainly. She stepped away, performing a few swings, sure movements trying to get used to the different weight. A little lighter than Lysander, but it's shorter. Hopefully it won't be a problem... if I ever have to use it.
She looked at Ganon, nodding apologetically. She then looked at the children, holding the sword behind her back (not wanting to scare them, of course) and smiled as comfortingly as she could manage. "You guys... don't worry about anything, 'kay? You'll all be fine." She nodded slightly to Ed, gripping the sword more tightly in her hands.
"He is, but... I'm still worried..." she mumbled.

Ed gave her a slight look of sympathy. "Well, then... Better get to his aid, eh?"
She adjusted her attention on Valter, yet another good friend, and smiled. "A spare lance? I dunno, Valter, I could only use it as a shield of sorts, and then I'd be kinda clumsy with it anyway." She rubbed her side and stretched her back. "But thanks. Just look after yourself and NoMetal, aye? You better get to what you were doing before."

Turning, Nometal said, "Yeah you are right." Though what is bugging me? Why the attacks? Am I the only one who thinks this? and who is the next target if there will be one? and will we have to fight a large war?

"If you insist," Valter replied to the swordschimera. "We've already searched most of the area, so I think it would be a good idea for NoMetal and I to accompany you guys."

Ed cocked her head, holding her hands behind her. "You're coming with us? Well, that's fine, as long as there's still some people warning the citizens."
The swordschimera turned on her heel, almost tripping again because of how the spikes caught the earth. She grumbled at herself, then looked again at the children, who seemed to be at a loss. Some were being led away by nervous parents already. Ganon seemed rather despondent... She peered at him, wondering if something was on his mind.

Something is telling me that someone is nearby, yet it also is not likely. "I'll catch up with you guys later. I need to do something." Dashing off towards other parts of the area.
