"I...I see." Dinah stuttered a bit, taken aback and a little uncertain of herself. She had heard, of course, that the Family of the Gods was a bit...disfunctional...but she hadn't quite been expecting Aphrodite and Apollo to be so...teenager-ish. Zeus had been bold and threatening and everything she'd always imagined a god to be, but these two younger generations were more...well, younger.
Absently, she reached out and selected a small, flat cake to nibble on, not unlike a small mouse. She was rather intrigued by the study, which was very much the way she liked it, and had what seemed to be a number of facinating books stacked in various places around.

Aphrodite sat in the window seat of her room, overlooking the heavens. She got her hand mirror, her ribbons, and her brush. Time to wait for his dicision. She thought. She hated to wait, and rarely had to, but when she did have to, she could always be found on her window seat, braiding ribbons that shone like the sun into her hair with a newfound vigor.

"Ya think we're acting too casual for Gods, don't ya?" Apollo asked cheerily, noticing the somewhat confused expression on Dinah's face. "Anyway, back to what you're here for. So what exactly did you have in mind?"

"I suppose...Well, I love books, more than anything else in the world, writing them and reading them and finding out every little thing they can tell. I just...love them. "But..." She glanced down at her lap and blushed a bit. "I'm afraid I don't really understand what it is that gods...do." "Hmm," Apollo articulated. "That's a good question. Well, a lot of gods like me are just there so people can say, 'Oh, so-and-so, be my muse!' and then we go off 'being their muse.' And then of course, we sometimes just happen to be the best of the siblings on the subject and enjoy it the most. So that way we sorta help eachother out using our abilities. Sorta like a deranged little community on a mountain."

Tommie jumped back, startled at Zeus's powerful reaction. "Is that a yes or no?" she whispered, shaking with fear.

"I see." Dinah raised a slightly-curled hand to her lips and bit the knuckle of her first finger lightly, a subconcious habit of hers when she was thinking. She was quiet a moment, then smiled through the bite. "I like books. I love them. More than anything, anything at all."

mieleh finally decides what she would like to help control.
"I seem to like stars. astrollogy sounds like it would be something I am able to keep track of. don't you think?"

Tommie began to look around as she waited for Zeus's desicion. Was he going to summon Poseidon to strike her down, or would her let her take the seas? Oh, how she longed for control over the wind and waves, over that wild element...

Dinah's eyes brightened at the mention of a Librarian post and she straightened in her seat. "Oh, yes sir!" She said with an almost uncharacteristically bright smile. "That sounds wonderful!"
