Hotaru blushed brightly as she pulled her hand back. "Eh heh." She cleared her throat and took a sip of her soda. "Nice to meet you." She replied finally.

"So, I am assuming your in college? Or is it your last year of high school?"

Hotaru smiled at him. "First year of college." She replied as she watched the food being prepared. "Mom and Dad weren't too happy about me going to school so far away, but they bought me an apartment anyways." She babbled distractedly.

Kai watched the food as well, always intrigued by how it was made.
"Your own apartment huh? Must get boring sometimes."

"Oh no!" Hotaru answered brightly as she shook her head. "I have lots of books and my art takes up most the space." She informed him. Obviously the girl didn't go out much.

Hotaru blinked. "I get out plenty." She countered. "I walk to school and the book store and the corner market and the art store..." She held up her fingers as she listed the places in her small circle that she walked to, considering going to those places as getting out. All of the places were in a small area of her apartment, she was a creature of habit since she was generally so forgetful.

"Thats not what I meant, I meant like going to parties and such.
You know, going out with friends and stuff like that."

Hotaru blinked at him for a moment. "I don't have friends." She said plainly. "And I don't go to parties." She added as their food was set in front of them. She picked up her chop sticks and started eating.

Hotaru arched an eyebrow at him. "Says who?" She asked him. "I like my books better anyways. Other girls are just mean, I'd rather just keep my books and art."

I dont only own a restaurant, I own a club as well.

"I.....I don't know." Hotaru said as she blushed again. "I'm not really good with people." She admitted as she poked at her food.
