"Gyah-jeez, hello!" Tenn said, stopping dead in his tracks and freezing his body. His expression turned nervously guilty: he was about to ditch his new friend, he realized. Well, he wouldn't do it again, Tenn decided! He grabbed the stick from her mouth and looked about, deciding where to throw it. Choosing the opposite direction, Tenn realed back and launched the stick forward with all his strength. "Hado One: Sho!" He shouted, pointing at the stick as the force left him and sailed at the stick.

The stick went slightly farther, but not by as much as it should have. It just spun around alot. Then, Tenn realized what happened..... he missed. First the dummy, now..... stupid stick. It landed a normal distance away, as opposed to what it COULD have been if he had hit it. Tenn frowned.

Tenn's smile returned and he patted Suzuran's head as he bent to reclaim the stick. "Round two, stick. Prepare yourself!" Tenn arched back for another throw, springing forward like a catapult and launching the stick once more. "Hado One: Sho!" He shouted, this time throwing the force from his hand. This stick went farther! This time, significantly so, though, he could feel that it was still not a direct hit. Still some spinning to the stick... but, he liked it! Already he was aiming better! HA!

"Suzuran, this game isn't boring you, is it? I mean, I'M having fun, but are you?"

Tenn chuckled and patted Suzuran's head again, saying, "Good, good! I was worried for a second." Tenn took the stick from her and pulled his arm back, readying himself for a throw. "What is so.... enticing, about throwing a stick, I wonder?" Tenn said, a pondering expression on his face. He looked to Suzuran, almost expecting a response, when he shook his head and giggled. "Then again, what is so enticing about retrieving a stick some guy threw, eh, Suzuran?"

He cranked his arm forward and released the stick in the same direction Suzuran came from. He pointed at the stick, making his hand into an imaginary gun, closing his left eye and sighting the stick that was in mid-air. He laughed once at his choice of delivery. "Hado one: Sho!" Tenn said, shooting the pressure from his appendage. The stick was struck square in the middle!

"Huzzah!" Tenn shouted, jumping as he celebrated his victory. Dead on! Elusive branch his foot! The stick soared further, landing solidly on the ground some distance away. He stopped abruptly, however, when he saw that, when the stick bounced off of the ground after landing, that there were now two. Uh-oh.... he broke the stick.... crap....

He waited for Suzuran's response, almost anxiously. Maybe she wouldn't notice, and bring back one of the halves..... or, maybe she would notice, and make Tenn pay for it..... he was not quite sure how the wolf would deal with this, being of a different species....

For a second, Tenn eyed her nervously, waiting for any possible sign of negativity. Finding none, he smiled and took the two sticks from her mouth. His smile faded to a mock frown, his gaze shifting between the two pieces of wood. "It would seem as though I have broken our play-thing..." he said sadly, trying futilely to re-attach the two halves. No good; it simply wasn't meant to be. He traded the mock frown for an enthusiastic smile, saying "Well, s'pose we're just going to have to make lemonade, aren't we Suzuran?"

Grasping one stick in each hand, Tenn squats momentarily. In a sudden movement, he jumps back up, throwing the sticks behind him. He turned immediately after, both hands now imaginary guns, and trained his sights on the two halves. "Hado one: Sho, Hado one: Sho!" Tenn shouted in rapid succession, launching the twin forces from his hands. He even went so far as to make them recoil after the shots were fired, for his amusement, more than anything.

Both forces made their marks, if somewhat inaccurately. One nicked the left stick, causing it to spin before it landed, and the right stick was launched further, with only a little spinning.

Rubbing his chin, Tenn contemplates his action. "A bit too much flare. Not really effective.... but fairly flashy, hm? All spinning around and such!..... I thought it was cool..." he finished, bending and reclaiming the now twained branch. He through but one branch this time, high into the air. Pointing a normal finger, "Hado one: Sho!" he shouted, the invisible force sailing towards the stick. It collided, a direct hit, sending the stick sailing. "Hado one: Sho!" he repeated, aiming for the still-air-born stick, his attempt being to 'snipe' the thing in the air whilst it was a distance away. It was close, he could feel, but no dice. The second shot did not even graze the stick.

As it landed, Tenn's shoulders slumped in dissapointment. "..... freaking stick..." he muttered.

"Gah, you kids and your.... jumpy....ness.... I'll take that!" Tenn said, grabbing the stick from Suzuran. He looked at the stick and frowned, eying it's length and throwing it once more. "Hado one:Sho!" he shouted, pointing at the stick and striking it with the force. Now the hard part. As it flew further away from him, Tenn formed his imaginary gun once again. This time, though, he steadied his hand with the other, propping the gun on his left hand like a mount. "Hado one: Sho!" he nearly cursed, flinging the force from him again. Going, going,.... nicked it. Tenn took a deep breathe and sighed his frustration. Come on! Its a frik'n.... gah, forget it. Third time's the charm! He would try again once the stick was in his hands once more.

"....." Tenn simply stared at Suzuran and her apparent calmness at his situation. Was his finger bent or something? He took the stick from her mouth and chucked it hard, aiming it up int the air. "Hado One: Sho!" he said, throwing his hand towards the stick. Direct hit! The stick went soaring away again. Alright.... moment of truth. He formed his imaginary gun again, this time actually grasping his wrist with his other hand, the result being it becoming more steady than before.

"Hado One: Sho!" he shouted, his aim set on the falling stick. The force left his hand, shooting through the air to his target. It was an anxious moment for him, and time seem to slow down just so he could savor his fear. And..... the stick flew again! Not as much as he'd like it to, but close enough! The stick still spun quite a bit, but he simply could not care! "Boosh!" he cheered, punching the air in front of him once, a huge grin on his face.

He couldn't wait to see the look on the stick's face when it came back..... so freaking smug.... not anymore! Hah!

Tenn snorted lightly, his smile softening to that of humor as Suzuran fell on her back. Ha! She was indeed quite energetic! But it seemed as though Tenn was tiring, all this casting on a stick was starting to become.... taxing. When Suzuran neared, he patted her on the head and scratched behind her ears. "I hope you had as much fun as I did, Suzuran." Tenn said through a yawn. "I'm afraid that I'm not as youthful as I used to be. I'm tired.... I think I'll visit our Living Quarters for a nap. I'll be back afterwords, ok?" Tenn promised, hugging the wolf before walking past her with a lingering hand on her head.

Aside from sleep, he also wanted to check out the rest of his squad's..... facilities, yes, that was the word. Tenn set off in the direction of the Living Quarters, tripping slightly over a rock before straightening himself out.
