Freedom the wolf Thats what we do to customize my friends warhammer 40k mini's. But the sword is good, all steampunks should carry one, I just find it funny an Ilithid above ground and wearing Spats and pirate coat. But a gun would look good depending on your class
She's not really an Illithid. Both Minis are for the same character.
Dixie Dellamorto She has a Polymorph ring that allows her to change shape at will... Sometimes you just want to look like an Illithid, right? I just like the idea of being able to change it up every now and then. Some beasties will turn tail and run as soon as they see a mind flayer. She's not a psionic, Doesnt hate the Day Star and she doesnt eat the brains of sentient creatures. She's just a badass chaotic evil thief.

I agree with Doctor Iris Rowley, You should use the d20 Past modulaes, and pull information form the Eborron books. Other things I might suggest is to reduce or remove the usage of Magic, and replace som of those things with Steam-tech. I.E. Instead of a Cloak of Flying, you get a Winged Jetpack. Instead of a ring of invisibility, maybe a Tesla stylized cloaking device. You could even push your spell casters along this route, making them Technomancers (you don't need to change the spells, just how they Look) It's good for the Story Telling Elements of a Steampunk game if instead of casting a Fireball from thin air, the Technomage gets a gun, loads a special bullet, and Shoots a fireball, or the healer, instead of channeling divine magics, uses a device that heals wounds. Still limit them to the normal rules, its just aesthetics.
my rants are way to long....
DM for over 18year... holy crap I've been playing for WAY to long... oh well, back to my Soulknife.

Im making that magic and tech work side by side except wizards and sorcers can use regular spells, but are limited to schools.Clerics belong to one healing deity and necromancy is out lawed along with warlocks and witches.Druids reign in the out lands not civilized by most humans and others.Elves make wizards often, as humans tend to be artificers and clerics of a healing god, or some such.Major evocation, will require focus devices to channel raw arcane energies into spells.Warforged will be converted into more steam or clock work.Potions and alchemy will be present and main way to heal wounds.Guns will be possible will special rune bullets. Different races may have their own magic schools maybe Gnomes-illusions Dwarves-enchanting Humans-any school Elves-envocation
Necromancy is called dark magic and used by cults, or drow elves and liches.Im still working on class limits and a map.The land mass consist of several kigdoms, and several waste lands and forest of elves and orcs.Half-breeds of elves and/or orcs are seen as blights and arew cast out so they are found in rural areas.
Primal races humans of tribal roots half elves or half orc wood elves giants and feys
civilized races high elves humans dwarves gnomes warforged
evil races orc drow goblin chromatic dragons alot of monsters just say that

Freedom the wolf Blasphemy, machines are not of Lolth!! Really? You obviously haven't read the module (and later a fun novel) Queen of the Demon Web Pits. Lolth had a gigantic, steam powered spider fortress.

Steamy DND?
Why not just play a WW1 setting of Spirit of the Century?
Even better, do a Decadarian setting of Spirit of the Century set in the 1880s.

Spirit of the Century's kickass, and the FATE system is incredibly awesome and simple. I'd love to implement it into my RP guild.
BTE, you're an awesome mini painter, Dixie.
