I wonder if I'd have jumped in to help if I were younger... Rednal thought. He wasn't even getting up to do anything, of course, despite the impressive attacks going on. That would involve effort, which was not Rednal's style. He preferred to use as little energy as possible in his daily life. Fame and fortune, power and prestige... there were plenty of eager people in the world who wanted all of that stuff. He didn't need to join in. And with that, Rednal grabbed an oversized cookie from his plate of snacks and bit into it, watching to see what happened with the fighter who was left.

"You seem to... resist yourself as well." Takashi appeared next to Rednal. "Seemed to be a good fight while it lasted, guess we showed up a little too late to see the good part." He grew a semi-wicked grin. "Wana spar for a bit? Think of it as... keeping our blades from rusting, between a Captain and a Vice Captain. If I don't, Zenpachi will have my head...possibly an arm and a leg. Depends on how he's feeling."

Shinji stood up, a bit overwhelmed. He looked at his zanpakutou as he released his shikai and it converted to normal. He continued to gaze at the blade as he walked over to his sheathe and picked it up. He stood there for several seconds. He calmly swung his zanpakutou downwards, striking the ground. The blade broke into two pieces, making a shattering noise. Shinji casually walked away with his hilt in his right hand and his sheath in his left. The blade was jagged at the end, only being a few inches in height. 'Damn...' Shinji didn't even bother to watch as Shiro walked off. He disliked people who thought they were better than others and had seniority over others when they didn't. To Shinji, it didn't matter if the Shinigami was form the First Division or not. Shinji, himself, started out in the First Division and knew all too well how the majority of the Shinigami in that division acted; that's the main reason why he requested to be placed in another Division.

Ike smiled at them with his hands in his pockets. " So, This is done fight?" Ike turned back to slowly walks out of here with his hands in his pockets. Shiro One day I will challenge you soon as I can. Ike thought to himself as smiled with his hands in his pockets.

"Sorry, I'm weak." Rednal answered immediately, raising a hand. His power certainly felt that way; he wasn't even a seated officer, much less anybody who lead a Division. "I'm just here to enjoy other people's fights, not participate myself. I can't keep up with anybody who has talent, I'm afraid. Just don't have the gift. You might try him, though." he nodded towards Ike's back.

Takashi looked at Ike, then shook his head. "He'd probably beat me, but that's not the point: Two speed demons, if being serious, would destroy ths place. That wouldn't be fun later for anyone, would it?" He sighed. "No, just thought I'd ask because these's... something about you, like we'll be getting along somewhat later on... heh. Okami has this thing where I can feel the future somewhat." He crossed his arms and nodded. "Freaky, but no bull. Anyway, if Zenpachi starts asking around, we did spar for a little bit. It'll help us both." He grinned a little. "And I'd apprechiate it if you didn't discredit yourself so... quickly. You might wind up dead if you doubt yourself." He vanished in a flicker, probably to cause more trouble.
------------------------------
"You sure that's him?" "Yes.""Fine. I'll keep tabs on him. If this thing goes down as we both go to hell together, I'll need more intel on him." "Logical, but wouldn't that be a invasion of his personal space?" "Heh, not like he needs to know."

Rednal sipped from his drink. I should probably lay low for a bit. he thought. Another of his goals in life was to not be noticed. Fortunately, there were plenty of jobs which involved little or no contact with other people for extended periods of time. It wasn't a very comfortable thing to be around other people for him. While not exactly a loner (he did enjoy the company of cute young ladies... though not too young, of course), he wasn't especially sociable. There were numerous reasons for this, but important among them was the fact that, officially, he didn't exist anymore. Still, dealing with something that saw the future might be trouble. He'd probably have to find a way to discreetly blind it to him. Speed demons were over-rated, though. The Shinigami who'd talked to him was giving them too much credit... but, then again, maybe he just didn't know. That was possible.

Ike heard everything of them said with his hands in his pockets then just ignored them. This other shingami want to fight against me. Well If he come to ask me or not. He thought to himself with his hands in his pockets then turned back to two shingami and spoke to them with his hands in his pockets. "Which are you fighting against me?" Ike smiled.

A man appeared standing on the railing of the duel arena simply sighing. He wore a Fuku-Taicho's uniform and had dual katana strapped securly at his side. His navy blue hair blew gently in the breeze that turned cold when it got near him and his ice blue eyes gleaned in the sunlight. The metal railing beneth his feet turned to ice however he didnt lose his balance even the slightest bit. He simpyl sighed observing them all as a blue popsicle stuck out of his mouth.

((For all that don't know, what you seen earlier...didn't happen. eek Well, not how you actually seen it. Allow me to explain. I got bored with my character's zanpakutou, so Zeke let me keep my character but change his zanpakutou. So yeah, no one seen my shikai or anything. You only seen me fight without releasing it. *sigh* Zanpakutou is still broken though.))
Shinji sighed as he quietly walked into the area. He stood on the opposite side of the arena as everyone else...or at least most of them. Shinji had his sheath on his back with the broken zanpakutou within it. The zanpakutou was exactly four feet long, well, at least it used to be. He would have to wait for it to repair itself. Shinji sat on a bench. As he sat, the bottom of his sheath made contact with it. He forgot he couldn't really sit with his sheath attached. He took it off and placed it on his lap. He then closed his eyes, hoping someone would fight. He couldn't really do much until his zanpakutou was repaired. Well, he could have a battle of kidou, but it wasn't the same.

Rednal immediately raised his hand and pointed in the direction Takashi had gone. Personally, he wasn't interested in fighting. After all... a normal, unseated Shinigami going up against a full Captain? Madness! The sort of thing that would never really go over well, and would only be a waste of everybody's time. Still, there were quite a few people with power showing up... he wasn't entirely sure why. Quite calmly, he continued eating, waiting for the next fight to begin.

After several minutes of just sitting there, he assumed nothing was going to happen anytime soon. He stood up, reattaching his sheath to his back and walked away.

Rednal continued to enjoy his light meal. Well, they'll get along just fine without me. he thought. It was a rather common thought for him, really. He was just an unseated Shinigami, not anybody who lead a Division or anything like that. They could take care of themselves, and he could continue to enjoy his meal like the relaxed person he was. Though, admittedly, he hoped more entertainment would show up soon. That would be on the nice side of things.
