"Their doing a sweep of the forest to make sure no humans escape" Altair said.
Dimitri kept running. Why do you run? A voice asked in his head. "Because I can't fight" He said to himself. Then lend me your body and I will teach you to fight The voice said. Dimitri stopped running. He stood and turned and placed his hands on his swords. He took in one deep breath and closed his eyes and slowly exhaled. He was far out of sight of the city.

Ryan slowed to a stop when the boy stopped and turned towards the things. 'What is he doing!? Does he want to get killed!?" He started to move foward towards the kid but the sight of the demons stopped him. He stayed out of sight but could still see what was happening. Watch and learn said the female's voice.

" Oh..thats good..." Reniki said sheepishly. " Well I'll go help them out if you dont mind....." She said looking a bit nervous. " Um Altair....what would you do if I helped a human?...just asking...you know..." She asked him not looking at him.

Altair looked over at her. "To help a human would be to help an enemy, treason against your brothers. The only approprate penlty for treason would be death" Altair said, coldly. "Not that you'll need worry, I highly doupt you'd ever help a human" He said.
Dimitri's feet slowly slid apart into a ready stance. He opened his eyes and could see the demons advancing. Two of them held spears, the others crud axes. They wore no chest armor relaying on their scaled bodies for protextion. One of the axe weilders held a large sheild in it's left hand. "Be warned now, attack and I will defend myself" He said as he drew the two blades, slowly. One of the demons with a spear ran at him. Dimtri pivoted and slashed, the high powered blades slid throught the scales, muscle and bone as easy as if it was through water. The demon's head and torso were cut off from it's legs. The peices fell to the ground. DImitri looked up, his eyes feirce and focused. The eyes of a worrier.

Ryan was tense as he watched. He wasn't entirely sure that those blades would even hurt those things until Dimitri had attacked. Ryan was staring so intently at the battle that a high pitched laugh almost made him fall over. 'Sorry Ryan. But I know that stance anywhere. Kogi...' Ryan could hear the envy in the female voice. She sighed and didn't speak again so Ryan went back to watching.

"Thats what I thought" Reniki said to Altair. "Well I'll be off scanning the forests." She said and with that she took off flying. She flew over the trees then saw Dimitri and demons....also another person."Well he's doing fine but you know just in case. "She said to herself. Then she landed behind Ryan watching Dimitri.

Dimitri looked at the demons left. The one with the sheild and axe let out a roar and the other two charged. Dimitri gripped his swords tightly and ran at them. He jumped and spun vertically slashing his swords cutting throught one demon's head. He landed in a low crouch and rolled forword as an axe head came down. He spun on his knee and sliced into the stomach of an axe weildier. He quickly stood and stabbed the sword in his left throught the demon's chest well his right hand moved and peirced throught the demon's throat. He pulled his swords out and looked at the last one.

Ryan didn't fall over last time but like last time he was staring so intently at the battle that the growl that had started in his head did make him fall over. Right into...'What!!!' His eyes were wide as he looked up at the demon. 'She's not attacking...yet she was right behind me...' The voice growled louder. 'Don't you DARE think that she is here to help. She is just like the others out there. I'm sure of it.' Ryan shuddered for he could feel the anger of the voice.

Reniki just looked at Ryan with a serious face. " Falling over doesn't help when demons are near you know." She said with a laugh. She held out a hand to help him. "I know you don't trust me but I used to be human and I'm strong so I'll help you guys even if it gets me killed." She said. "And if you don't trust me your loss. " She said with a smirk and then went back to watching Dimitri.

Ryan believed her, truly believed her, which is why the voice started screaming in his head. He coved his ears and ducked down but that didn't help. 'I SWEAR TO YOU RYAN, THAT IF YOU DARE DO ANYTHING THAT THING SAYS...SO HELP ME THAT I WON'T KICK YOUR a** RIGHT THEN!!!' Finally she got quiet. Ryan got up on his own, with out the demon's help. He did believe her (he flinched when the voice in his head growled again), but he wasn't going to completely trust his back to her. He stood to where he could see both Dimitri and Reniki at the same time.

Dimitri looked at the last demon. It barred it's teeth and let out a roar then charged. Dimitri swung his sword. The demon blocked it with it's sheild. It brought it's axe forword and slicing Dimitri in the shoulder abit, just enough to draw blood. Dimitri pulled away and spun, slice one of the demon's legs off.

Reniki was still watching Dimitri when she then smelt the blood. "Stupid human blood.....whe do you smell so sweet?" She thought licking her lips. But then she just shook it off. " Oh, by the way I'm Reniki, and you are?" She asked Ryan.

The demon roared as it's leg was sliced off. It brought it's axe up then down. Dimitri spun to the side and sliced the demon's arm off with both blades. The demon roared and dropped it's sheild and grabbed it's stub of an arm, then realized it's mistake. Dimitri spun around the demon and cut it's remaining arm and leg off. He brought his blades up in an X shape. "No last words...no last requests" He said. The demon let out a last roar and Dimitri swung his blades, severing the demon's head from it's dis appendaged body.
Altair look off into the forest hearing a few roars, the last one interested him the most, it had been abit weaker then the last ones and had been suddenly cut off. He stood til he reached his full height, his pupiless eyes narrowed.

Ryan realized that Reniki was talking to him. He turned, hearing a sigh of defeat in his head, and answered her question. "Ryan" he answered, as short as possible. Then he took to looking at the other boy again. He just severed the demons head off its body. 'Impressive' he thought and heard a scoff in his head. 'You just haven't seen what I can do.' the female voice told him.

Dimitri gave the swords a twirl and shethed them. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He slipped his headphones on and hit play music came on. He turned and walked away heading away from the city. How do you feel? Kogi asked him. I'm okay, shoulder hurts abit from the scrape but I'm fine.
