Ryko silently crept away and went to what would seem like a random spot to most. Lowering his muzzle, he released the branch onto the delicate sand. Using his paws, he began to dig, trying his best not to let the gravel get into his dark fur. After burying the found item, he smiled with satisfaction. "One day, far from this date, I shall find this treasure once I again, and will relive the time I found it with loving memories...," he said quietly, setting his paw away from the area. Ryko turned to Mai, "And to think I believed you wouldn't break your promise." He smirked and walked to the small house that was beside the playground. With a slight creak, the door suddenly opened, with Candeh holding, in her arms, a pastel green-furred pup with markings as the same color of Mai's violet coat.

"Hey guys," said Candeh happily. Kaios pounced out of Candeh's grip and tackled his mother, Mai, affectionately. She barked cheerfully at Candeh as she left to go water the colorful potted plants surrounding the house. "Hi Kaios, I missed you," said Mai, snuggling her son. The playful youngster nudged her and looked at Ryko with curiousity in eyes. "Oh! Right, Ryko, this is Kaios," she introduced, lightly pushing Kaios closer to Ryko. "Um...," she said awkwardly, watching both of them stare at each other. "So,...let's go inside?" she suggested, walking through the door. A crisp and fruity scent filled the air and Mai sighed as she inhaled it. "Fruit-flavored biscuits, alright!!"

Ryko nodded in greeting to Kaios, "Welcome."

"Hello Mister Ryko!" squealed Kaios. He bounced around Ryko, surveying him with great interest. "I've never seen another dog, except for my mom, of course!" said the youthful slipper, trailing in the house after his mother.

"Please, call me Ryko," he requested politely. Ryko smiled a bit and followed after him. "So Kaios, what do you like to do at home all day?" he asked, watching the puppy roll around and such. Was I ever that young? he questioned himself, glancing back at old memories.

Kaios paused in his play and answered, "Umm, I do lots of stuff!" He pondered momentarily and resumed, "I like to play with my toys!" He sprinted over to a bundle of plushes hidden in a corner and grabbed a ball that showed just about every color in the rainbow.

"I see...," said Ryko, nodding. "Mai?" he called, "I'm going to take a nap for an hour or so..." He attempted to look forgetful about the tour around the forest, but instead, his expression was rather amused.

"Whatever," said Mai with a full mouth of biscuits. Hehe, how cute, he thought I wouldn't remember.

Mai cautiously avoided stepping on the sleeping Ryko as she chased her son around, trying to get him to stay still and not mess up the room. She watched helplessly as he tipped over a potted tropical plant, spilling all of it's contents. Mai propped the pot upwards and carefully placed the plant back in it. "Come on...," she sighed, picking up the giggling puppy gently and lifting him outside. "Now go play on the playground, what's happened is done and it cannot be undone," she said softly, returning to the messy spot. Mai attempted her best to refill the pot and in all honesty, it didn't look that horrendous...

Ryko awoke from his deep slumber, wincing at the bright sun rays coming in from the window. He glanced at the clock, which said 6 o' clock. He yawned and peered at his surroundings; it was silent and there was no sign of the other slippers. Agitated at the quietness, he began to daydream, staring into space. His eyes widened as Candeh, out of nowhere, flew inside with a bunny that had colors resembling himself. "Lili'!" he murmured. He sprinted over to her daughter, as if he never forgot her, which he did somewhat. Candeh let the bunny go gently, smiling. "Dinner's going to be soon, guys," she said brightly. Ryko watched quietly as she paced around the kitchen island, scrambling for ingredients. "Hmm, I wonder where Mai and Kai' went?" she suddenly asked. Ryko shrugged at her and his attention went back to his daughter. "Lil', did you play outside all day again?" he said, petting her fluffy head.

((Mm'kay, Kaios grew to an adult...<3
Therefore, RP shall be forwarded. Ryko did give a forest tour to Mai...It didn't go so well though....

Mai: It's not MY fault I got stuck in that stupid berry bush! I was hungry!
Ryko: *rolls eyes* Please don't start...I told you those berries were poisonous anyway...
Mai: WHAT?! Is that why I got sick for the next two weeks after that?
Trixie and Kalissa have always been living at the playground with Candeh, they've just never been introduced into the RP. They will be soon, though. Lilelle is still a child; Kaios is a young adult. 3nodding I need to RP more...D: Stop being lazy, Candeh!! I might make a map soon of the area their in~ XD Like anyone reads this anyways...))

START OF 2nd RP
"Whee!" cried Mai with blatant joy as she rolled across the small patch of flowers. It was a bright Saturday morning and she got up unusually early. That said, it truly was unusual behavior. Weekends were those days where she would sleep until say, 12 pm. Alright, so that was almost every day. Mai enjoyed the empty silence along with the sun's comfortable warmth. Her purple fur absorbed it with happiness, taking in all of it with pleasure. As she laid on nature's bed, she planned her day's event in her head. "What should I do today?" she asked herself quietly, staring blankly with interest at a particular colorful flower beside her head.

A slight smirk fell upon Ryko's face as he saw the odd view of Mai up so early. He was prepared to take action if 'it' occured once more. "What's she up to this time?" he sighed, knowing last time something so strange happened was a childish prank from her. He remembered it clearly; this called "April Fools Day" was her silly excuse. Up in the morning of that "holiday", he wished to take a long walk around town, but before he did, he wanted to tell all at the playground his plans so he wouldn't worry them. Ryko couldn't find anybody. Talk about a panic attack: he had rushed in and out of rooms, searching for a sign of another slipper, but nothing. Everywhere and anywhere outside, nada. Dear Candeh wasn't even in sight and she, or the other residents for that matter, always alerted when they were out. He was walking back to the house with these horrible ideas floating inside his head of what could've happen to them. Out of nowhere, Mai popped from behind a pot, mind you, it was a large piece of pottery, and scared me to death. I tried to retain my dignity as she bursted into laughter crying, "HA HA, I GOT YOU GOOD!!" ...The others were out food shopping and told Mai to tell me they were gone, but obviously, she didn't share this information.

Mai turned 180 degrees and caught sight of her buddy Ryko glaring at her in a not-so-nice way. "Hehe," she giggled, knowing he had sweet memories coming in and out of his head. Her reason for her early awakening had nothing to do with him, but apparently he thought so. "Whadd'ya want, Ryko-o-o?!" she joked, giving him a huge smile. Ohmigosh, that day was spectacular, she thought as she reminiscent about that lovely April 1st. She was an excellent prankster, according too...well, her standards you could say. One of her most favorites had to be when she gave him a piece of packaging 'popcorn' foam and claimed it as a crunchy marshmellow. Can't believe he actually ate it. The emotion on his face was just priceless. "I'm not going to do anything, sheesh!" she exclaimed, rolling her eyes at the suspicious dog.

Ryko shot her a look of hatred and swiftly went back into the house. He felt terribly unforgivable to her, but you can't exactly do a scare tactic at someone and expect them to laugh it away, correct? Mai's behavior heavily reminded him of a puppy slipper begging for attention, minus the adorable and cute parts. He lazily went through the house in boredom, peeping in every room only to see the 'family' members soundly asleep. He paused at Kaios' room and quietly entered it, looking at the pastel puppy with admiration. It must be tough being her son, he thought. Kaios practically had to learn values and respect on his own. Grimacing, he said softly, "Surely Mai wouldn't teach him manners, as she didn't know of any herself..." His trail of thoughts stopped; he wasn't respectful himself, talking as such about someone he knew his whole life. He exited the room with a deep exhale of air, regretting his views on Mai.

"Uncle Ryko?" called out Kaios, yawning and rubbing his eyes gently. Of course, Ryko wasn't his biological uncle, but he had insisted on calling him that 'cause he seemed as such a figure to him. He crawled out from the multiple layers of blankets and attempted to make them neater, but the result was a pile of messy sheets. He sleepily dragged himself to the kitchen and positioned himself on his seat cushion, focusing his eyes to see a plate of breakfast prepared by none other than Candeh. "Yay, pancakes!" he said happily, digging into his favorite morning dish. As he helped himself to scrambled eggs that were in a small bowl beside the dish, he gazed around for the other slippers. "Hello?" he asked dully, though already knowing the house was silent and asleep. A quiet slam of the door caught his attention. "Uncle Ryko?" he questioned, glancing over his shoulder at the closed door.

Ryko shook his head in disapproval of himself as he didn't reply to the curious youth. His eyes brought themselves to the resting Mai, assuring himself of what he was going to say to her. He marched himself over to her, hoping she'll take him seriously. "Mai, I'm sorry for my behavior lately," he apologized, his head face down at the grassy ground. What in the world am I doing?! He hesitated, waiting for a similar apology from the violet slipper. Before he could look up, he knew by the suppressing laughter from her that it was a helpless case. "Y'know, I love how you could find something hilarious when in anything" he said sarcastically, keeping a small smile from appearing.

Mai ran out of words to say, for once. He's apologizing, for what in the world?! She blinked, searching her brain for a smart reply to make him aggravated. Oh how she loved doing that; she considered it more as a charm of her's rather than a spark of her 'mean' side. "You're cheesier than processed cheese, did you know that?" she said with a barely visible smirk. Would he think that's a good thing? I've known him since he was a little slipper, and come on, he thinks of nature as the 'only peace' in this world. Surely he wouldn't mind being called cheese...Cheese is natural, right? Gah, that's probably the reason he doesn't think my jokes are funny...Wait, what if they're not?! Her thoughts swirled into a whirlpool of randomness. Stop: rewind, she said to herself. She shot Ryko a true smile and together they spent the morning in deep conversation of which was the most beautiful flower on the patch.
