The illusion vanished, she wasn't wasting focus on a hopeless task. "Tyr," She said the name with a soft voice, thick with an undertone of regret.
Her eyes locked back onto his, a prideful tilt moving on her lips. "I promise, I won't tell you anything."

Ora stared back, her eyes not wavering. "No." She was technically ambidextrous, though favored her left hand for magic, and her right for sword. She wiggled, slightly, testing the strength of her bonds, all the while masking her movement with a bit of illusion.

Eulalia Danae Ora stared back, her eyes not wavering. "No." She was technically ambidextrous, though favored her left hand for magic, and her right for sword. She wiggled, slightly, testing the strength of her bonds, all the while masking her movement with a bit of illusion. Fior stood, grabbing her left hand in a vice-like fist, forcing it onto the table. "Yes, defiant. I like it." With that, he smashed her hand beneath a sledgehammer fist.

"You have no idea." Ora said in a sharp voice. The joy of holding down a hand and smashing it with a fist...is that it requires two free hands to accomplish. Ora took her opportunity the moment it presented itself. With her body and other hand free She grabbed for a particularly special sword at her side and matching the action of 44, pulled it free, bringing it into a wide swing.
The blade would have done nothing to the metal man, perhaps scratched the surface a bit. Which is why she didn't swing it at him. Moving at high speed as 44's fist smashed into her hand, the bones giving way to dust and the skin spliting apart from the pressure, Ora sliced the sword into her arm, above 44's grip, slicing the hand and parts of her wrist off. Free of the last bit of physical contact with the metal man, she teleported away.

By the time he had figured out what she was doing with the sword, it was too late to stop her. With a howl of rage, he grasped at the severed arm, barely making contact with her in the last second, taking her trip with her.

Ora managed to separate the two of them the moment they arrived at the edge of the city. Though too weak to blink away again, she backed up, masking herself from his eyes. She held the arm tight against herself, trying to cut off the bleeding as she backed up, putting as much distance between herself and 44 as possible.

Eulalia Danae Ora managed to separate the two of them the moment they arrived at the edge of the city. Though too weak to blink away again, she backed up, masking herself from his eyes. She held the arm tight against herself, trying to cut off the bleeding as she backed up, putting as much distance between herself and 44 as possible. 44 laughed, as the Kore bots quickly closed into his postion, revealing the world around him, including Ora's postion. "IT was a good trick, girl. I'll hand you that. Daring, ballsy, brave," 44 advance on Ora, the Bots clearing her decption, "But I'm afraid we end this, now." He grabbed her by her good hand, dragging her off the ground, and to eye-level, "Who are you protecting! Where is it!?"

Ora met his eyes squarely. The shade of them was slightly dulled by a glassy sheen, as she tried to keep focus away from the pain and bleeding, and put effort into staying conscious. Her expression stayed blank as an empty plate. "A man, named Aaron Roth. He was hiding in the basement of that building I just left. He has your master's codes, and when he dies, so will they." She lied through her teeth, if anything, hoping to buy time, though she wasn't particularly sure what good that time would do.

Her expression stayed blank as an empty plate. "A man, named Aaron Roth. He was hiding in the basement of that building I just left. He has your master's codes, and when he dies, so will they." She lied through her teeth, if anything, hoping to buy time, though she wasn't particularly sure what good that time would do. 44 smiled, gripping her bleeding stump, and dragging her along. "If you lie to me, we'll turn this planet into a groved glass ball like Thesys. Would you like to reconsider your answer? Just tell us what we want, and no one else dies. Lie to me, we let this whole planet go."

"But even if you destroyed this whole planet, there is a greater chance the target would remain intact...than if I gave in and let you set your sights. There is a reason, after all, why you don't kill a fly with a cannonball."
Ora let out a slight laugh, going into shock. She spat in 44's face. "If you ever see a golden man with a hammer, I'd suggest you run." There was a faint sheen on her face, her eyes starting to roll back as she began to lose consciousness.

There is a reason, after all, why you don't kill a fly with a cannonball." Ora let out a slight laugh, going into shock. She spat in 44's face. "If you ever see a golden man with a hammer, I'd suggest you run." There was a faint sheen on her face, her eyes starting to roll back as she began to lose consciousness. He squeezed the stub tighter, slowing her bleeding, a grin on his face. "YOur golden man isn't alive anymore, witch. Like I said, I caved in Tyr's pretty little head." 44 replied, clearly unaware of who she refered to. He tapped his comm, radioing to Haldis, "I need a pickup. The girl passed out. My suggestion is orbital bombardment." *** Meanwhile, back in the city, 538 and his men stumbled across a lab. Inside, all of the people were already dead, with closer inspection revealing that they had been killed by some kind of injected toxin. Searching the lab itself revealed that they had been working on advanced cloning, a live terminal flashing a "Transfer Complete" message, indicating that whatever it was they had sent, had reached it's destination on Earth. Other than that, all the computers were destroyed, all apparently smashed by the chairs strewn about the lab. Some of the equipment appeared to be in decent enough shape to salvage, but the real interest was the body of Johachim Mizrahi, slumped over a table, still holding a syringe.

Haldis took the call, still holding Lankin's form. "We will send in some ships for you and the woman, as well as the remaining troops. After wards the planet will be wiped clean. We'll replace the soldiers with bots for now as the weapons ready themselves."

Meant to fight and die out there against the Infected, and you made him something else. You signed his death warrant, woman."

Ora was still out cold for that half of the conversation, though it wasn't something she'd needed to be told. She had gathered it already.
Lankin's voice came over the comm "I need her alive, 44. She won't last if you continue to let her arm bleed out."
