I'm not ever allowed to drive anywhere but church parking lots... I'm over 100 in human years; the only reason I'm doing this now is because I finally look to be about the same age as one of their sixteen-year-olds...

Oh, well. At least the girl that sits next to me in driving class is as much as a loner as I am. If I ever need a snack on the way home, I don't think she'll be too missed...
Oh, I just got back from Door County. I have fudge. It is yummy.

Same here. The place I get my fudge from is the only place that sells anything sweet I'll eat without anything related to blood in it. And, if you get the fudge fresh enough, its still soft enough to mix in blood. I finished a box of it by myself... in less than a week.

The older ones are just paranoid. Crosses have the perfect shape to hold warding spells without damaging the object or weakening the spell, so finding one that was enchanted used to be pretty common. Eventually, we just learned to stay away from them, but almost no one knows how to do that kind of thing anymore.
