Lynnea pounced on him, and pinned him-glad that she could do so without him going easy on her again. She had just grown into a teen, and she loved it. She was happy growing up, although it was too fast sometimes. After she pinned him, she walked up to the rock again and dived into the water gracefully. She was growing into a very lithe adult because of her constant play with Coalan, and she was spending more and more time with him.

Coalan laughed. She was always somehow stronger than he when she matched him in size. He was glad that his friend was not fragile and in need of protecting though he would protect her with his life if he had to. He jumped to his feet and dived into the water again, waiting for her to come after him.

Lynnea grinned, chasing him in the water, although pacing herself so that she would not tire out too easily. She enjoyed playing with Coalan, and hated that it would be sunset soon. She knew she should head home, but she was reluctant to leave. She continued to play in the water with him as the sun set, and then swam over to shore. "I guess I should probably head home," she said, looking a little sad.

Coalan nodded. "Yes you should. I do not want you getting into trouble and not being able to come see me tomorrow. I think seeing you more often then later is better. Don't you?" he said as he gave her a nudge in the direction of her home. "See you tomorrow." With that Coalan ran off to his own home.

She nodded and then began to head home. She walked slowly through the forest toward her home. After she got home, she ate her dinner with her family slowly. Then, she went to sleep and dreamed of the lake near the caves. The next day as she went to the caves and through them to the lake again, arriving shortly before dawn. She watched the sunrise from the diving rock as she waited for Coalan to arrive.

Coalan got there after Lynnea and sighed. "How come you always get here before me. I leave quite early but you always beat me here. I will have to come super early provided my dad will let me." He sighs. "You shouldn't be here all by yourself for long periods of time."

"I don't mind it, it is nice watching the sunrise," she said, smiling over at him. "Did you sleep well? Also, did your lesson with your mom go well?" she asked, because she loved hearing about his day. She climbed down from the rock and went to stand beside Coalan, poking him with her tail. Then, she pushed him into the lake and jumped in after him.

(let him answer before pushing him in next time)
Coalan laughed. "I seem to be doing alright, not sure how to help yet but I am learning the rules and all that. She is starting us slow I would say." he growled the last part as he fell into the water. "Careful, I could have swallowed some water there!" He laughed though to relieve any tension.

(sorry, I wanted to surprise him)
She smiled at him and then said, "Well, I wanted to make sure you did not expect me to do it," she said, swimming circles around him. She waited for him to catch her and then twisted to dunk him under the water. She dunked herself in the process, but she was enjoying herself too much to care.

Coalan just laughed. "Well, my mom is a good teacher, so I expect to be able to take care of any of your injuries soon enough. The way you act, one of these days you will get yourself hurt. And I want to be able to take care of you when that happens." he explained.

"I am not.....that......big of a klutz," she said, smiling. However, she did know she was a little accident prone sometimes, so it was not neccasarily a bad idea for him to know how to heal. She smiled at him and swam in circles around him, happily. She looked over at him and then swam toward shore. "So, do you want to explore somewhere new today?"

Coalan smiled. "Sure, if that is what you want to do. Where would you like to explore? The caves, or the river, or deeper into the forest, maybe another clearing? Just tell me and we can head out immediately if that is what you would like."

"I guess the forest, I have spent a lot of time in the caves and this area." she said looking over at him and grinning. She climbed onto the shore and shook out her fur as she tried to help herself to dry quickly. She continued to shake herself and then layed in the sun. "Of course, we can always wait until we dry off," she said.

Coalan nodded. "That is probably best, and if you want to explore, please wait for me. I do not like the idea of you alone and vulnerable in these caves alone. It would give me considerable peace of mind to know that you were with another." he gave her a smile as he laid out on a rock in the sun.

"I will wait, happily," she said, smiling at his gallantry. She dozed lightly in the sun, waiting for her fur to dry. As soon as she was satisfied that it was dry, she stood and stretched. She looked over at Coalan, and noticing his fur was still a little damp, sat down to wait for him to be ready to go and explore.
