Captain Amaranth Milady, could I beg a favour? I've been tasked with finding someone to colour this: link! I've been giving it a bash myself, with not much luck. Would you be willing to give it a go? (if possible). I can pay if need be.
No payment necessary~ I cg because I enjoy it. (^_Q) Most of the time I can be found cg'ing the works of Fred Gallagher (Megatokyo.com, fredart.com). My forum name there is Roisin. My styles change frequently cos I'll do something brilliant and then immediately forget what I did. XD But I'll show you some of my favourite works~ These two are fairly recent, and I was trying to be steamy (and gothish) here: Strip 0290 Kind of steamy: Panel from Strip 1154 Not sure what I was trying to do here (this is the start of the not so recent ones), but I wish I could remember how I did the clouds: Strip 370 A dark one: Panel from Strip 1024 I forgot why I liked this one: Strip 0365 And I really wish I could remember what I did with the two following~ those were some of my best: Panel from Strip 0981 Panel from Strip 1058 I use Adobe Photoshop 7 with a Wacom Graphire 4x5 tablet. Although, I think the ones after 1024 were done with a mouse. Would you like me to keep the hatching or remove it? Also, shall I create a background for it, or just colour the elements?

(^_Q) I think for dark indoor scenes, flash backs and sadder scenes you should make it kind of old looking like the second one, but for outdoor scenes, scenes by windows and happier scenes the second to last would be good. I also think you should make the sky a very pretty blue, to enforce the feeling of freedom in the sky

It seems like a large undertaking but a thrilling adventure and worthwhile project. Good luck lads and lasses. I can't draw to save anyone's life but I do love to write and would be willing to help with stories in time as I get to know others better if you need help.
In the mean time don't get yourself caught up and need my help as an artist to free you.

Thanks for the suggestions; I think I'll do that. biggrin Reworking panels in progress... no idea how long it will take. I'll be working on them over the next few days, probably. I stopped work on one after a couple hours cos I just remembered I do in fact need to eat to survive. XD

Uhm, it's rather messy~ and I'm embarrassed by it lol. I'm working on it again. Here it is~ Soon, much of it will be filled with little coloured dots as I expand my palette, and then I get to erase them and the messy parts before I save the final image. XD WIP And here's the entire comic that I got the panel from: http://www.megatokyo.com/strip/1058
