Stardust watched the showdown with interest, noting that Razz had quietly surrendered before Ember had even leaped forward to claim victory. The older male had a great deal of potential, but Ember had been the more vicious and confident of the two since the beginning, which was all that was needed to drive him to win this match. Perhaps it was Ember's fearless youth that allowed him to succeed, but she had no doubt the two would continue to clash in the future.

Now bored that the fight was over, Stardust yawned and stretched herself onto the ground. Crossing her paws and laying her head on them, she waited quietly for Ember to release the older male. As much as she wanted a strong mate, she didn't want one that abused his power. But she knew that Ember was not the type to continue aggressively attacking Razz, who had already surrendered.

The only bad thing that came out of the results of this match was that Ember's human would become the Lieutenant. And Stardust knew that Riya was not too fond of the younger woman. What an interesting Patrol this will be now.
