You have me with "seventeen" having no place in the movie But despite plot holes and the over splatter of gore it has potential... more of a Rocky Horror than Sweeny Todd. I liked Graverobber's narrative moments and the fact you could play an interesting drinking game just centered around mental disorders displayed in the main cast.

I'll argue your point only in that I LIKED Repo: the Genetic Opera.

I have yet to see it myself but it looks very cyberpunky
it is... until you see the female lead's cloths and hobbies... heck she collects insects and wears victorian lace collar shirts.

Yeah, if I could get past my insulted feeling I might not hate it so.

I really don't thing Sweeny Todd has a place in the REALM of rock-operas; it is just plain a Broadway musical. Rock Operas are few and far between, to me. "The Black Parade" does not count to me, "Tommy" does. I'm le picky.

Do you consider Repo to be one?

Do you consider Repo to be one?

Grudgingly, yes. A bad one, but yes.

I think the plot of a Rock Opera should be obvious without explanation, and Repo is. Like I said, I don't count Black Parade or The Wall(no one suggested it was a rock opera at the time, but if they say Black Parade is then the wall had to be) because just the album would need an explanation to be fully understood.

I am no expert on rock operas so I will take your word on it

lol you're more knowledgeable on rock opera and therefore allowed to be picky... it's like me going shopping for a bustle skirt or corset. On that note I've probably blasphemed and started making a cyber punk costume with Victorian overtones... or maybe it counts as fetish goth from all the patent leather and pvc?

IMO; unless you're getting of from the leather and pvc, is not fetish goth... IM-very humble-O.

It sounds kinda cute though. whee
