Lol and Snsd's Taeyeon even admitted that when she was still training to be one of the members of Snsd it was really hard so she like ran away from the home she was staying in and then she came back Mr. SM yelled and beat her up :/

Taeyeon was living with Tiffany that time (Snsd members lived together when they were still training to become singers and such)
And Tiffany saw Taeyeon's room empty so she told Mr. Sm but she only did that because she was afraid when Mr. SM found out he would yell at her and stuff.
