It has happened to me. A few days ago, I had lent my clothes to my sis to try wearing. Including the bloomers. We go to the same school, but I go later than her, and I got a dress in the mail when I woke up, and wore it to school. I had to go home at lunch- never wear a dress with a netting petticoat without bloomers. Ouch. sad

I was checking out a pair of really pretty good angel wings , but they were like... 500 dollars. crying

Ahahaha, but there was this one time, actually, last time i went to the dentist's, i was wearing a pair of black n white stripey tights, and the whole office came in to stare at my legs while the dentist assistant had my mouth full of cleaning products redface

later the same day, i was in the Cafeteria, and the lunch lady looks me up and down and says
"Where'd you get those tights??!!!"
"Ardene's"
"OMG, i've been looking all over for a pair like that- i'm gonna be a witch for halloween!"

I always tend to wear a lot of lace (I just love lace... lol) and I get myself caught in it. Earrings, lip rings (yeah, I got my lip ring caught on the lace at the bottom of my skirt sweatdrop ), rings, bracelets... *sigh* I'm such a klutz.

And I always end up not putting enough thread on my bobbin and I'm halfway though a skirt and I run out of thread... and my sewing machine is a pain to thread. Ugh.. I need a new one.

i get stuck on my locker at school a lot. most of my shirts are lacey. as far as the bobbin thing goes, i do that all the time.

Bobbins are purposly designed to run out of thread after a small project or two, depending on the type of sewing your doing...
the best thing to do is to find out how much thread your bobbin holds and learn about when it'll run out to try and avoid it in the middle of a long seam.

xd I mean, it sucks but it sounds kind of funny... how do you get your lip ring caught in your skirt? o.0

Funny story, actually. Before I went off to choir that day I ran to the bathroom 'cause my crinoline was all screwy, so I lifted my skirt up and held it in my mouth while I repositioned everything else and the lip ring got stuck. I had like, a minute to get to class and I couldn't get my lip unattatched from my skirt, so I kind of peeked out the door, knowing my friends would be down the hall, waiting for me. When they saw me they just fell down laughing, it was hilarious.

They eventually ran to help me and we somehow got it out WHILE we were running down the hall. The bell rang just as we got in the door. Hehehehe. Lucky me, we were the only people in the hall.

I accidently sew stuff on the wrong way @_@ anding up in an uneven something, but I'm usually too lazy to tear out the stitches because I use straight triple stitch.....

straight triple-stitch=takes forever to tear out

I'm always making thta kind of mistake too, but it's because I get overly excited and try to rush things. I need to learn to relax. It also doesn't help that my sewing space is this tiny bit of uncluttered space on a messy kitchen table. My sister can't keep her house clean. ;_; I wish my nephew still lived here. He was a neat freak, everything was spotless and organized!

I was reading the first posts and the stories were really sad. And I have sad stories too like spending all my 80$ worth of bday money on a dress that fell apart and was see through D:
but i thought id post something a little more funny heart

One day I finally got a nice decent lolita dress and i wore it to school.I figured I wouldnt have any problems because it covered my entire body and it wasnt to short or anything.SO I was walking around and my friends thought it was cool.. but then when I got into the classroom where no one really likes me.. i got stuck beween the desks and knocked mystuff off my own with my skirt sweatdrop EVERYONE was looking at me and laughing and snickering. I was laughing too but I was like ".. crap.. eek! how do i get out of here.. i can hardly get into my desk!"
Then when I got on my but i had to get up cause it was my stop,and I stood up and fell down cause the kid next to me was sitting on my skirt XD;!

Has anyone else ever had poofy petticoat problems or skirt issues besides me ? ^^;

I absolutely love lace! - lace lace and more lace!!!~ =^o^= - sometimes it's all I wear ^-^!~ So my jewerly gets stuck on my clothes alot; or I get caught on a door; or my dog tears it ;-;

I've also been wearing alot of long skirts to school lately - because it's sooo cold outside ;.; -- and when I try to go up the stairs to some of my classes - I end up tripping all over myself ^^;;;;

Those small vials I carry around are only filled with peppermint extract.
So when I am slipping it into your coffee...it will taste yummy!

Like Momoko in Kamikaze Girls, my cell phone ring tone is classical musix, Chopin to be exact. And now I'm only eating sweet things. Well, most of the time at least.

I've posturised my self, sitting up staight, no legs crossings, but elegently. I stand with a slight pigeon toed stance and my hands laced together.

Well I don't have a misadventure (as of yet), but I sadly only have my kitchen table to work on... which is really hard when I have to have all my material, lace, thread, sewing machine, etc. on it... Thank goodness my family (me, my mother, and my little sister) doesn't like to eat in one place together XD (Even when my older sister was living with us we didn't do it ^^)

Oh yeah! I don't know if it would really be bad... but one of the first materials I ever bought was a deep, blood-red and had a really cool black floral pattern on it... but I didn't realize it was see-through until I got home and had a closer look >.< Beginner mistake ^^;; Now I can either put it over black material and make a Wa-Lolita or something... ^^;;
