If the teacher is trustworthy, Setsushi does not mind... in fact, there are a few people Setsushi already knows who may be suitable.
Of course, he could also study under, say, Tenryuu. What does Dame Tenkyuu say to that? he asks, hoping to turn the topic of the conversation away from Kouyo's prospects for marriage.
-- Kouyo need not worry about finding mouths for the eggs; Setsushi is the house's very own sentient trash bin. sweatdrop

Tenkyuu ponders that for a few moments before nodding slightly. Tenryuu has a large degree of patience in addition to considerable martial skill; she would, in fact, be the perfect teacher for such a beginner; after all, Tenkyuu couldn't allow an aggressive teacher to rip their High Priest apart.
Tenkyuu emerges from the refrigerator with a bottle of orange juice, truly one of the greatest inventions to grace any world. Tenkyuu sets to work taking out a few glasses as she notes that this morning, she wonders if even four eggs can stop her ferocious appetite.
Tenkyuu sets the glasses on the counter and soon begins pouring her orange juice. What would the assembled gentlemen like to drink?

Trash bin? Kouyo wilts a little and jabs at his cooking eggs with the chopsticks; has he really messed them up that badly already?
He fidgets as he realizes he now has the attention of both warriors with regards to his question about martial arts, and quietly wishes he had something to count. Most of the eggs are still goopy, and the more solid bits that have formed are not all the same size.... The High Priest nervously explains has been reading a bit about some Gaian military arts during his spare time in the used bookstore storage room. He found the names of a few of the types of unarmed fighting that are apparently not used for actual combat... he finds it strange as well, but they sounded suitable for the nonviolent and quite un-warrior-like High Priest, and so Kouyo thought perhaps he could seek out training in those Gaian arts. 'For both mental and physical well-being,' the book had asserted.
At mention of his cousin's name, Kouyo glances upwards a little, seeming to recall perhaps some distant memories of an awkward family gathering when he was very young... but even that he can hardly remember. If... she would be willing to teach him as well, then the priest supposes he can try to learn.
Oh, er, and Kouyo will have orange juice, as well, he supposes. Since Dame already has the bottle out.

... Slowly and almost audibly, the wheels in Setsushi's head turn, and his expression slowly transforms into one of slight horror. For his impression of Tenryuu is the opposite of the person Tenkyuu is describing. "Er..." Perhaps they will have to look further for a teacher for Kouyo after all... sweatdrop
In any case, Setsushi approves of Kouyo's plan and will help him find an instructor if he wishes. Setsushi would enjoy teaching Kouyo himself, but Setsushi knows only the practical methods... ... ...
And he will have his usual tea -- he'll make it himself; Tenkyuu doesn't have to trouble herself.

Is Setsushi implying something about Tenkyuu's wonderful daughter? A playful smile marks the elder's face as she pours the glasses of orange juice. As for Setsushi's tea, Tenkyuu will happily make it. After all, is Setsushi not training Kouyo so Tenkyuu can have her eggs on demand?
Finished teasing, Tenkyuu grabs the teapot and begins to pour a steady stream of water in it from the tap. Would Kouyo perhaps prefer tea to the orange juice? Tenkyuu can easily accommodate him if he so wishes. She peers over her shoulder at the youth, a feeling of warmth floating from her.

Kouyo becomes quiet, figuring he can blend into the background while the Knights chat with each other. Not having so much attention focused on him allows the priest to relax a bit again, and he focuses on his eggs for the moment.
As he scrapes the scrambled mess around in the pan to get it to cook all the way through, he considers Dame Tenkyuu's offer and tells her that perhaps tea would be a better idea for him than juice. Kouyo may be able to sneak a nap in before he must go to work, but he still thinks he will require the tea to help keep him alert.
... Kouyo gently prods at Setsushi to request his attention then, showing him the eggs in the pan and inquiring if they look alright?

Setsushi is saying something about Tenkyuu's wonderful daughter -- who really is wonderful, but as a martial arts instructor just might reduce poor Kouyo to a pulp. sweatdrop Though Setsushi believes she would at least be a kinder teacher than Dame Unsou...
He shudders.
Preferring not to linger on thoughts of the scary, scary lady Knights of the Empire, Setsushi scrutinizes Kouyo's work. They look fine -- he should pour the eggs out soon. Setsushi grabs a plate to prepare, trying not to elbow Tenkyuu as he does so. This kitchen is really too small for three cooks, he grumbles not entirely to himself, perhaps suggesting that Tenkyuu leave the tea to him...

Tenkyuu ducks underneath Setsushi's large arm before popping back up to move to the cabinet to fetch the duo's favored teas. Tenkyuu is quite fine in the kitchen. Setsushi and Kouyo, however, have finished cooking the eggs.
Tenkyuu suggests that, before they must expend all of their energies at work, the two go to the table and relax while Tenkyuu prepares them some tea.
"Of course, that is if Setsushi and Kouyo are willing to," says Tenkyuu with a smile that Setsushi knows is code for "sit your butt down right now."

Kouyo hastily and worriedly explains that he was just thinking of adding some sort of martial art for exercise to his collection of hobbies. The High Priest has his own role and has no plans to rival the famous Dragon Knights or anything sweatdrop He supposes if one of them is not busy, he could try to study under her, but really, the little priest does not want to trouble the masters for their techniques since it would only be for his own recreation....
He accepts the plate from Setsushi and dumps his completed cooking onto it, then sets about trying to divide the pile of scrambled eggs into two separate halves, for himself and for Dame. Then Kouyo moves towards the table, taking plate and chopsticks with him; since he is finished at the stove, he can take care of testing his eggs to be sure they taste alright while Dame takes care of the tea.

Setsushi collects his own unscrambled eggs and heads to the table as well, though he continues a stream of quiet grumbly thoughts at Tenkyuu for a bit longer.
As he sits down, he gesticulates at Kouyo with his chopsticks, assuring him that the Knights would not feel bothered by a request to teach him... well, the Knights other than Dame Unsou, at least. They are all stranded in this strange world, after all, forced to start anew in ignoble professions -- he feels most of them would find being able to practice and pass on their art a treat. ... But again, Setsushi understands if Kouyo would prefer a human teacher. As he has already said, most of them are trained in the martial arts' practical application, which is not what Kouyo is interested in...
... Well, anyway, they should eat, he thinks, and digs in to his breakfast.

Having run the men out of the kitchen, Tenkyuu goes about making the tea--it's not a hard process, really. More than anything, it's boring. She watches the pot while sampling the scents of assorted tea bags and listening to the conversation between the two. After about a minute, a novel idea springs into the elder's head.
Tenkyuu would be happy to teach Kouyo all that she knows. While she is by no means the greatest hand-to-hand combatant, she has engaged in many life-and-death situations with only her hands and feet preventing her husband from becoming a widower.
If Kouyo would like to know the practical applications of combat, then she would happily teach him. In return, he could show her how to work on those 3-D puzzles he previously mentioned.

Brow furrowing slightly, Kouyo pokes the eggs around on the plate a bit more before sampling some from his half. He considers Dame Tenkyuu's offer, though the thought of being in such life-and-death situations himself clearly disturbs him. The priest glances nervously to Setsushi before he returns to studying his eggs as he says that he really does not wish to be in any such situations that would require him to use his fists and feet to harm someone else, and that he plans to do his best to remain safe in order to avoid that.
And then a bit less worriedly he tells Dame that, if she wishes to visit his newly-purchased miniature temples, the only tithe he requires is her company.
Then he offers the scrambled eggs to the woman, telling her that he thinks they turned out alright, and she is welcome to have her share from the plate first.

Setsushi isn't really sure what that glance was supposed to mean, but he smiles at the two others with a touch of nervousness himself -- though he does not doubt Tenkyuu would be an excellent teacher, he agrees that it is unlikely Kouyo will be in such life-or-death situations and that the skills needed for them are unsuited to him.
Kouyo could consider archery as well, though; Setsushi finds it to be a rather meditative and beautiful art, more than other forms, and perhaps it could train some strength and steadiness into his body. If Kouyo would like that, there is probably no better teacher in all the lands than Dame Tenkyuu, he says with a smiling thought sent towards the lady herself.

Tenkyuu laughs faintly, shaking her head. Truly, Setsushi does her far too much honor, though she is happy that he is able to see a little of the beauty in archery that she does. If Kouyo so wished, Tenkyuu would be happy to teach him--of course, last she knew, Setsushi was more than capable at the art himself.
Tenkyuu begins to pour the duo their respective cups of tea before putting their individual bags in. With that done, she moves to the table, a faint smile aimed at Kouyo. Tenkyuu will take Kouyo up on that offer, then. She first sets down Kouyo's cup before Setsushi's own before her eyes slip to the eggs.
Chopsticks seem to appear at her side before they swoop down and grab a piece of one of Kouyo's eggs. She gingerly places a hand underneath the held food, lest any crumbs hit the floor, before popping the food into her mouth and chewing.
After a few thoughtful noises, Tenkyuu directs a pleasant feeling towards Kouyo: Setsushi may make a chef out of him yet.

Ah, with lessons in bare-handed combat and bows, little Kouyo might become quite the warrior-priest, won't he sweatdrop As long as there are bows weak enough for his skinny bird arms. The High Priest seems a bit embarrassed at provoking so much discussion, but also satisfied that he will have more hobbies for his collection. He looks forward to his lessons. He shyly admits that, from time to time, he wondered what it would be like to fire an arrow from the very top of his tower, just to see how far it could fly....
And he thanks Tenkyuu for her compliment on his cooking, pleased that his first attempt turned out well. Cooking can be a hobby for his collection as well. Kouyo takes his cup of tea and blows on it gently before taking a sip, then closes his eyes, a soft contented sigh escaping his lips.
