He blinked and dropped his smile at the sight of her smile, jsut then becoming aware of his own. He snorted and looked away. "Of course lake's are wonderful. Maybe its just the lakes back where you came from that suck." he said. He looked back at her. "Your...attire. Is that part of some custom back at your homeland?" He reached out and nudged said attire. "Its rather odd and not practical."

Undine stepped away from him. “They’re modeled after a sea nymph, a water spirit.” She flicked her tail causing the tail fins to dance about. Looking at them she frowned. “What’s wrong with them?” She was confused, they had never caused her any trouble. It wasn’t as if they were long enough to trip over and the clips kept her mane out of her eyes. What was unpractical about them?

"You said you explore. Does this include the forest? those things would get tangled up and shredded, and if you were trying to escape...You'd be toast." He He explained. A sea nymph? So that explained a few things. "They are rather beautiful, but still, unpractical." Most beautiful things were utterly useless, so it wasn't odd, just a fact he was surprised she didn't seem to understand. "They are useless."

“Maybe the tail piece doesn’t have any practical use but the clips behind my ears do,” she said tossing her head to show him. She walked back to the river and looked down at her reflection. Turning her head this way and that she smiled sadly. “All that remains to remind me a my history,” she whispered to herself. What had become of her heard she wondered silently.

"True, it keeps your hair from hiding your pretty little face." He smirked, moving over beside her. "That sad smile is marring your exquisite beauty, perhaps i should wash it off." He could barely hold back the laughter as, in one movement, he jumped, landing in the river, causing a huge splash. He laughed.

Undine stood there blinking in shock as water dripped down her face as well as the rest of her. “Wha,” she spluttered . “This means war,” she said once she managed to get her thoughts back together. She carefully stepped into the river keeping an eye on him at all times. Once in she kicked some water towards him.

"Oh i do belive you have no idea what you've gotten into!" He smirked and kicked up his hind legs, sending water and fish everywhere, before galloping a few yards down stream. Turning he blinked and laughed. "River bass doesn't look good on you, my pearl, perhaps you should stick to ocean fish."

Undine stared at the fish hanging on the end of her nose. She shook her head to remove it and looked herself over. Not seeing any more fish she stalked towards him. “No thanks, to much salt,” she said amused flipping a fish onto his head. “Now were even.”

In an attempt to dodge the fish he tumbled over and was about to laugh as the fish plopped on his head anyway. He blinked and looked up. With a snort he shook his head, sending the fish flying. "not even close." He said, smirking. He glanced around. "You know, your missing somthing..." a sinister grin spread as he spotted his target. Moving slowly he turned, innocently grabbing a lily and a lily pad. Moving he stopped beside her and plopped the lilly pad, and a nice bull frog, on her head.

Not noticing the bull frog she gave him a weird look. “A lily, that’s your idea of revenge.” She shook her head causing the frog to jump onto her nose in front of her eyes. A startled scream left her for at that close it appeared to be a giant. She started to laugh as the frog jumped away. “You win, I can’t think of anything to top that.” Shaking the lily pad off she started to walk to the river bank.

"Of course, i always win" He said, adding emphasis to always. Always whatever he wanted was his and if he wanted to win a fight, he was going to win a... He froze and looked about. Dropping to the ground, causing a rather loud splash, he peeked over the river bank, eyes watching a purple maned mare walk by in the distance. "Don't talk! And you dare say my name" he all but growled as his voice lowered. He didn't have a story yet as to why Taja wasn't with him anymore, and he knew his mother would ask about her. Gah, of all the luck. "Just act like your eating so she doesn't come over here!"

Undine stood by the bank and lowered her head as if to look for grass. She rolled her eyes at herself. Yeah like she’s going to believe a dripping wet mare is standing next to the river to eat, she thought to herself. Glancing at the distant mare she grinned. Must be his mother, she thought. Though why he wouldn’t want to see her she didn’t understand.

"Get any idea's and i kill you" he growled. He fidgeted a bit, almost gone. Come on why couldn't she move any faster! She must be looking for more flowers, of course. "Dammit mom hurry up..." he muttered. He planned on visiting her but not the vary second!

Undine wandered a bit away from the bank trying to stay as far from the other mare as possible. Continuing to nose at the ground and feeling like a idiot doing so with water pooling at her feet. “I should have hit him with more then just a fish,” she muttered to herself.

Antirr stood and shook himself off as his mother disappeared into the forest. "Bout time, i swear she's the slowest mare on the face of the earth." He snorted, shaking his head. He looked at Undine. "Thanks" he said. "I, uh...have alot to explain...and i'd rather not do it right now." he said.
