Leaning against the wall with his eyes closed, he allowed himself to venture forth into relaxation once again. With each oncoming suggestion, he took notice of it in silence and continued to enjoy the candy. Every once in a while he picks his head up to notice the eager Oruga bouncing his head around in thought thinking up whatever plans he had for later research. He also noticed Soma's anxiety pushing him with every moment into more suggestions.

"Hehe, well aren't we the little detective. Yes you're right the leader is out there somewhere far away. For now we just worry about the little guys before we worry about the big fish. I do agree that we should send a few captains though. Academy Students is probably out of question to the ones who think that. They're still wet behind the ears with just facing off against normal hollow, not to mention they're still having trouble passing some of the field exams. I don't think any captain here is ready to take responsibility for sending these younglings to their own death with those adjuchas out there. Hehe, yes let's not forget about them. They are just as strong as most of our Lieutenants here. Just one would rake through the academy students like autumn leaves after a storm. But that's old man yata's decision who he chooses to send. The scenario is already set and the game is already on."

He said now swinging the lollipop around playfully as he spoke before popping it back into his mouth, followed by a laid back smile. Though there decisions still had points to them, they still had their flaws. And it was his job as captain and a master of tactician to point out those flaws to avoid further casualties both to their numbers and the town's numbers. No matter what old man Yata's plans were, what before from the earlier statement had been the true plan for the front line fighters such as squad eleven and gang. From there on the shinigami would have to rely on their own intelligence or it would cost them in the future.

User Image Ike looked at Soma with his hands in his pockets. Now all Captains look like already arrived here without Ike but some of three Captains have been missing now as late. Ike stood up then his right arm out of his right pocket then held on his head as smile. Ike sighed then spoke to them.

"I have reason for late I watched Shinj Inwana against Shiro for battle so I learned them how to fight."

Ike turned his head back to Old Yata with his left hand in his left pocket and hisr right arm held on his head then spoke to them.

"What's going on, guys?! Tell me, guys!"

Karume glanced over to Kazei, her pleasant seeming expression seeming to fade the moment she laid eyes on him. So like him, he heads the tactical division so he automatically assumes his tactics are best. She disliked him for that reason only. Even though he lead a specific, important division, it wasn't like he was any smarter than anyone else, she was equally capable of running his division or even the 12th division, the problem was that the position's were already taken. In honest truth, the only reason she took the second division was because she wanted the captain's title, otherwise she might have simply waited until there was a position she could stand. Insead, though, she was letting her dislike for the men build, especially the arrogant bastards of some of the other divisions. Soma wasn't someone in a position she wanted, she didn't want the kidou division at all, he could have it, the problem was he thought of himself as a god in a way, or he sure seemed to act like it at times. While she didn't consider Ike to be the greatest captain in existence, there was no need for Soma to blast at him for being late, there had to have been a time when Soma was late too. For whatever reason it may have been, that didn't matter and she wasn't about to let him go on that.
"Soma, sit. Late or not, there's no need for you to lead with an unnecessary indignity." She stated roughly, the sweetness that had once resided in her eyes seeming to hide back in the far reaches beyond sight, almost as if it had never existed. It didn't matter who it was toward or who she might have seemed to have been defending, what she was doing was not to defend anyone in any way, it was in fact to put Soma in his place. She was abandoning her nicknames for now at least, to him more than anyone else. She wasn't going to take his rudeness like that, it was uncalled for, and there was no need to act cutesy with nicknames that were given out of playful annoyance when the man she was using it for was simply being a jerk. Whether it waws justified, Soma needed to be slapped back down for once and apparently no one else intended to do that but her. "He's late, you can catch him up with what little's been said already. In the mean time, the ones who aren't here deserve more attention and yelling and I don't see you storming down there to pick them out, now are you? No." she hissed, slowly standing and turning her gaze on him, though it was closer to a glare.
"You aren't the only captain in this room. Any one of us could put you back in your place."

"Hold Your TONGUES" The whole room seeming to shake with Yata's momentary outburst before he finally settled back down. Old man Yata then puffed on his pipe, taking his time to take in everyone's opinion on the matter before finally making his finally judgment. "In a situation like this, I would put it to a vote since most points made are very valid, but it cannot be ignored that our students are....lacking considerably. So I will simply state it like this." Old Yata took a moments pause, his eyes scanning across the room with an ancient stare. "I will not force no one to take on this mission, if you go it is by the you're on choice. I will let your conscience be your judge in this matter." Slowly raising himself up to his feet, clutching his walking staff in his hand, taking his time to let his words sink in. "For those to journey, I humbly appreciate you're efforts, for those who don't...I am sure, you have your proper reasons. Captains, pick those who you believe can handle this task and depart immediately. Stay in contact with your fellows and be careful around the humans. We want as few causalities as possible. This meeting is now adjourned" With those final words Old Man Yata slowly made his way towards the exit, but not before taking a momentary pause. "Oh and for my more Hot headed captains, do try to keep your head lest you want me to knock it off."

Soma eyes shifted to Karume, with a simple grin Soma got up and looked over to Kazei. Soma then looked over to Shiori and motioned his hand for her to follow him. It was simple he was going to get his vice captain and 4th seat and they were going to head out to Karakura Town and fight for the people that live there.

"Sorry Old Man Yata, Im not the type of person to stick my tongue out and just hold it. You knew me before this. Next time pick out the people you want to lead the protection on Karakura Town."

Soma then turned his back and disappeared using Shunpo. Soma was heading back to division 5 to get ready and get his two members ready to fight also. It was going to be a simple mission. Soma disappeared and he knew that Shiori would follow him. He was going to have Shiori help them out in this mission.

By the tell of how things turned out in the end, the shinigami captains were truly on there own. The meeting itself had turned into the exact thing he feared it to be. A complete waste of time. The gathering all the way up to the final conclusion had completely proved useless up until the point where both the fifth and sixth division captains spoke. But if that was how things disclosed, then then he was finished with this meeting and had no further interest in the matter.

"Hehe, sorry pops but if you couldn't at least get a small scaled movement or a plan going with these captains, slamming your cane and making useless noise loses it's touch after a while."

He turning away from all the shinigami in the room before nodding at Oruga and shooting Karume a wink along with a smile. With that he popped the lollipop back into his mouth and exited the castle. What he said was true. After some time slinging your crook stick and shaking up the room lost it's intimidation if you couldn't prove yourself to be a useful leader. All that meaningless rubbish the old geezer just spat out translated down to was throwing the planning and strategic maneuvering to the captains instead of taking it into his own hands. Still in all, things were still in control. For now he would leave the others to their chatting while he gathered up his men for the situation at hand.

Akane Shiori

"I'm always watching... You cannot hide your sins..."

With the entire meeting in shambles, she gave a sigh and rose form her seat. "This is wasteful." She scoffed and pushed her chair in against the table, brushing her long hair back as she turned to leave. Pausing at the door she glanced at the remaining Taichos and frowned. "Perhaps one should look deeper into the situation, there is always clue... You just need to find it." She gave a smirk and turning, vanished from the door. It didn't help that her personality was very suspicious, but she had a habit of saying things like that, and most weren't sure whether to take her seriously or ignore her opinion. It was best to ignore, for mind games were her favorite way to torment others...

Of everyone in her Division, the only one she thought could handle this delicate mission were Shinji or herself. However to join this herself would leave Shinji with Gilgamesh, who was a mystery to everyone, including Yuki, herself.

With this in mind Yuki decided to ask Shinji to go, this way she had a trusted man on the mission but was also able to keep an eye on Gilgamesh. She was pretty sure Shinji wouldn't mind going on a possibly dangerous mission like this, and if he refused she could always make him as his Captain. Though Yuki hoped to avoid throwing her title around like that.

Having made up her mind Yuki stood up, turned, and disappeared using Shunpo. Heading straight for the 10th Division.

"Oi! About time. All that chit chatter only for a shut up with no plan." He agreed with Kazei-kun at this point. He caught the eye contact the 6th division captain made at him and gave him a low nod in return. Now he was off walking through the captains and on his way back to the laboratory. Of all the things he was called for and to get something so disorganized. If there was anything about Oruga it was that he was very neat about how things should be. He was always like that with his work and paperwork. Kanon-chan his lieutenant even knew from first hand at his side how he could be when it came to organized work. But the captain's order was quite the opposite and it held no specific direction. "Oi-Oi excuse me mate. Passing through." He crossed over captains as he made his way to the lab.

[Akuma]
He was surprised that so many captains could be so careless with their thoughts. Akuma never made any mention to sending the academy students out into battle, but merely that even they were suited for such a job. He believed that exerting their resources such as the captains of the Gotei 13 on such pitiful creatures such as hollows. Instead he felt it necessary to hold back many of the higher rankings in the case that their true leader rather then the pawn were to show. Pulling close to him a small pad of paper, Akuma started to jot down some notes that were brought up. This included the strategic minds of the ones present within the meeting.

Noticing that some have left the area while others stayed behind, Akuma closed his note pad and stood to his feet. Bowing his head to Yata, and the other remaining captains, Akuma headed toward the Seventh Division to start constructing a team of members. Some he would send on Earth to gather information from other parties that had decided to involve themselves, while others would engage in battle to better understand in a more hands on approach.

"I'm sure you don't want your tendons cut without breaking flesh, my dears."
- Gankona Naosu, Squad Four Taicho

Naosu scowled considerably. It was uncanny for the usually light hearted woman to ever scowl. She usually held a pleasurable air around her with that gentle smile of hers. And with how Soma was acting, and Kazei as well, Naosu couldn't help but feel a bit sniffed at. "Yata-sama, may I speak to you in private?" The woman stated as she stood up, hands together still, a smile not upon her lips as she held a more serious, if anything, calm air around her as she requested a personal audience with the Old Man. A quick glance to Karume and Mi Young, she turned her voice to them. "I'll see you two at the Kaiteki-sa? Mi Young, Makoto-kun should be around the hospital with my third seat" Naosu smiled gently to the two women before turning her gaze back to the Old Man.

The only reason the woman would request any time alone to speak to the Commander was if it was something that irked her more than usual. And she hadn't had to approach the Commander in centuries within her workplace as Division 4 Taicho. Maybe it was with the recent going ons with the new Taicho's who hadn't quite learned the ropes yet, or the new fuku-taichos who weren't cooperating quite well. Or maybe it was the excellent condition she saw from the Academy Students. The usually peaceful woman found so many flaws in today's meeting, that it had kept her from munching on her candy as she usually did throughout other meetings.

Mi Young Chi :: 3rd Division Captain

Mi Young looked around a bit confused as the entire meeting grew chaotic and uneventful. She remained seated, waiting for captains to take their leave. She sighed, deeply, unsure what to really do in such a out-of-control situation. For a long time, she prayed that the Gotei would one day be able to collaborate and work together, but once again, her hopes were let down.

She nodded at Naosu-san and pulled out another package of the dried persimmons, and giving it to her. "I suppose I should leave as well. It seems like this issue will be resolved without my interfering... Hopefully with as little causalities as possible... And thank you, I'll see to Makoto-kun soon, and we'll have tea soon, I promise. Could you give this to Yata-sama? I did not have a chance to give this to him." She smiled and bowed toward Naosu before standing. She looked at Karume and gave her that gentle smile. "Suppose I'll see you at tea time."

And thus she took her leave, but not before bowing her head toward the first division captain. It was a depressing departure to stand away without aiding in any shape or form, but with Kazei and Soma's attitude, things were never calm or orderly, especially around Kazei. Mi young sighed once more, and headed back toward her own side of the wing.

Karume looked over to the others with a sot sigh as they departed, one at a time though it seemed as though it was all at once, just one right behind the next. She was happy to see Soma and Kazei gone, but she didn't think that everyone else would be that quick to leave. If anyone she thought that Mi Young would stick around for a little while and talk, but she seemed to be in a hurry too. She tightened her grip on her new box of goods before letting out another sigh and turning to leave. She had initially intended to speak with old man Yata about what she'd said, clear her card, but it seemed that Naosu intended to preoccupy him and she wasn't going to stop it. For the while, at least, she might as well return to her two subordinates who probably still stood like idiots back in Soma's office. That reminded her, of course, of what Kazei and Soma had done as they walked out. While they payed her little mind, those kind looks, it creeped her out. Were they trying to disturb her by being happy and go lucky, not fighting back, or were they already crazy? She wasn't sure she wanted to know the truth, it could ruin things, she just knew that she didn't like them like that, it was quite odd.
In the mean time, she bowed politely to Mi Young, Naosu and Yata before turning to leave. She'd be there for tea with the other two girls, that was not at question, it was just who she intended to send to Karakura Town to fend off those damn creatures. She wasn't about to let Soma show her up, but she couldn't imagine actually going down to that human world and maybe even working beside Soma, that was simply unimaginable. It would have been better if she'd cut him in half in a miss-hap, but it was unlikely that he'd get in her way, she didn't get in his for a reason and he was probably alike, at least on the battle field. She needed to show Soma up in that field, but going down there sounded equally bad. She had a lot to think about in a short walk back, that was for sure. Might as well get started on it. Light in her step, Karume headed back toward her own division, hoping to find her two subordinates of her own division there already, she'd rather deal with the matter in her office and not else where, she'd been sure to debug her office so that there'd be no snooping from any of the other captains, she couldn't be sure that was to be said of anyone else. It was unlikely that anyone was quite so paranoid to do that the way she was.

Ike looked at them with his hands in his pockets then watched them leave to their squads. Look like every Captains left this Captain's room for reason. Ike smiled at them with his hands in his pockets and spoke to them.

"Look, I will going to help some people in Karakora Town without you guys. Do not follow me, you feel me? Im serious if you follow me then I do not waste my time."

Ike wasn't sure as well as not stupid. Ike only can fight his own as his time. They made Ike's mind which why there are a problem in Karahara Town. Ike don't have his time then leave.

Old Man Yata looks back at Naosu out of the corner of his eye, only giving the slightest of nods as he stroked his long beard.Waiting quietly for everyone else in the room to leave before turning back around as he quietly puffed on his pipe. Slowly strolling across the room, taking no real hurry in his steps before finally coming to a rest in his seat. "Now then young Naosu, speak and let your opinion be known to this old man, I will listen to what you have to say" Turning his pipe over, he emptied it's contents to the floor before stowing it away into a pocket inside of his robes as he set his staff down beside himself. From there on he sat still, waiting quietly and patiently for what young Naosu needed to say.
