The grey skinned boy nodded and rubbed at the jewels on his one arm " thanks" it was good information to know really. he also wondered if they might be able to help him take off the damned shackle that seemed permanently magically fixed to his left angel it wasn't overly heavy and there was only a small handspan of linked chain on it but still it disturbed him.
Crimson eyes flicked over to the clock on the wall behind the dark skinned boy. " I have to go and help mom with the store, I hope I see you again." Chris was oddly nice to be around, fun to talk to and a good listener. In his own way he had helped sooth and stabilize Rook's somewhat frazzled nerves for the time being.

Rook nodded and hauled himself up out of the pool finding as always that he lacked that heavy water logged feeling most of his family complained about. He grinned at Chris and smiled at the cabbage still resting on the floating mattress before heading off to the shower to rinse the chlorine off his skin.
