Talos made his way to the rescue post haste.
"Maybe I am just being greedy but I was thinking of saving the girl and kill the monster that continues to harm her." Talos said looking to Calyph who has irritated Talos easily by now.

Calyph only grinned at Talos, but did not see what Aika was doing. He could not see her climbing out of the lake with a sword in hand determined. It had been summoned for battle.
“Talos…I love you.” Aika would at that point stab Calyph, but where she hit would not be fatal to him as she felt a dagger hit her in the gut.
“Damn you woman! You Talos now must watch her die!” Calyph would take the bleeding Aika and throw her into the lake dagger and all. He’d ensure the battle last long enough that Aika bled to death. She had indeed mortally wounded him with the sword stuck just barely above his heart which he would remove looking at Talos with an intense hatred.

Jaz wandered alone through the woods, following along the river. He heard a comotion of sorts and looked ahead. Seeing the female stabbed and thrown into the water he worried. Realizing that the man intended to keep her friend busy while she died he dove into the river and swam over to her. Jaz looped an arm around her waist and shot up, getting their heads out of the water so she could breathe. The cross breed swam to the far side of the lake, figuring it would be wise to get her away from the one who had stabbed her.

Aika didn’t know what happened as her eyes began to close. Her body was draining of blood because of the dagger in her gut. Her body seemed to be in chaos because of the dagger. She couldn’t move because of the paralyzing dagger.

Jasper hauled the wounded woman on to the shore and layed her down gently. He first checked the dagger and after determining it to be a normal dagger, dug through his pouch for some herbs. He applied some paste around the wound to keep her from bleed in out while Jaz removed the dagger. After the blade was removed the cross breed laid a hand over the stab wound and let the healing magic flow from his hand and into her, hoping it would be enough to save her.

“W-who’s there?” Her soft spoken voice would come forth, she knew someone was there as she laid there before going unconscious. The healing would save her, but the wound had already done the damage. The battle between Calyph and Talos would have to determine if she would truly be safe any longer.
Sheena came upon the scene between Aika and Jasper as she sighed softly. She then noticed Calyph and would erect a barrier that would keep Calyph away from Aika. She had been hand picked by Aika to protect the lake. “How is the guide of the forest doing? She must not die, or the forest dies with her.” Sheena’s voice would come softly as she spoke.

Jasper looked down at the woman. The wound had closed but she was still weakened. He frowned but looked closely at her lips when she spoke, trying to figure out the words. He didn't know the language but he could pick it up quickly if he studied it long enough. Unfortuantely she passed out before they had a chance to talk.
It was not long after that another woman appeared. He shook his head as this one also spoke in an unfamiliar laguage. He spoke in his main language unthinkingly, forgeting it was known only to a few."E bar's yrbintsorb." Jaz scooted back a bit so the kinder woman could move foward to check the unconcious woman.
("I don't understand.")

Sheena would fly over towards Aika as she would come to her knees allowing her gown to flow away from Aika. She could tell the woman was hurt pretty bad to be in the kind of shape she was. She noticed the sword used only by the guide was missing. “So, she finally used the sword against Calyph.” Her words would be translatable to the man before her as she looked at him. Being a fairy her eyes would show she meant only good as her hand touched the man upon the cheek, her touch would be enough to help him understand not only her but Aika as well and any other that spoke in common.

The fight between Talos and Calyph was intense as they went back and forth. Talos was trying to get to Aika but after some others came by to rescue her he could focus on Calyph.
Eventuality the blood loss from Calyph slowed him drastically and he gound himself in a precarious situation as Talos stood over him. A large Icicle protrusion graced the end of Talos's arm ready to finish what Aika had started.

“Talos…” Aika would speak this name even in unconsciousness. Her body still being weak as it was seemed to be recovering well. She spoke this only as she seemed to be silently in her own way trying to convey to Talos her strength so that he might win the battle against Calyph though her sword was left on the field of battle near where they fought.
Calyph continued to try and prey upon Talos’ fear of losing Aika, but found it to no avail. He’d instead dodge the coming attack. He had to make sure that the woman died, so he’d turn to look at the lake to see that she had been rescued and growled. So, he’d have to steal away the one thing that helped her live. Talos would have to be the one that died. “You’ll be the one that dies this day. Seems I can’t get her, so you’ll die by her sword.” He’d pick up her sword and charge Talos.

Jaz tipped his head to the side as he heard and understood what was being said. He still couldn't spreak it though as he frowned and muttered. "E bar's hrag gkos tganb uay'ni socherw odays." The boy looked around, his blue eyes landing on the fight. He tipped his head to the side as he watched, curious as to what would happen.
(I don't know what sword you're talking about.)

“She had a sword special to the guide. It is a sword unique only to her hands with incredible powers that only she can unleash. Unfortunately anyone else touches it, the sword dulls in their hand and it will not cut. It cannot be used in anyone else’s hands but her own.” Sheena would explain this to Jasper as she would smooth out Aika’s hair and dry her body off so that Aika would not catch a cold from being exposed to the elements for too long. “You poor dear, that Calyph does not let you rest.”

Jasper looked over at the woman and pointed at himself. "Jaz." He stated, sure she would get the hint. The cross breed then looked back over to the battle and pointed again. "Et skos ski tganb skos arcu tki lor yti skir?" His face twisted as the one charged the other. It seemed like a bad plan of attack to him but the charging one was obviously upset and apparently not thinking right. Or maybe he was just missing something. Jaz watched closer as the two fought.
(Is that the sword that only she can use?)

Sheena would nod about that being the only sword that Aika could use. “That is the sword. It has dulled, you see. He won’t be able to cut the other man. Just a little while longer Aika.” Sheena smoothed out the woman’s hair again before looking at Jasper with a look that clearly understood what he meant. “I’m Sheena.”

As Calyph charged Talos dodged to the side and grabbed the sword arm driving it into the ground. With a follow through Talos brought his own weapon up into Calyph's throat killing him quickly. Calyph's face contorted into a look of horror as Talos continued to fill his body with ice to ensure his enemy was completely killed.
