Blushing Ama quickly rushed into an introduction. "Oh where have my manners gone? I would like to introduce my dear friend Starla. We met some time ago when Starla got lost in the Eastern territory. We've been close ever since." Smiling at the blue female she continued on with the introductions. "Starla this is Lloyd and Soliel. They're helping me find my sisters." Thankfully Ama had already told her friend her story long ago so she didn't have to worry about explaining it all again.
Huffing Starla turned to the white female determined to correct her. "I didn't get lost in your territory. I was chasing a rabbit and was trying to find it's scent." Ok so she got lost it didn't mean she was going to admit that to these helixes she'd never met before. "It's a pleasure to meet you two......" Catching Lloyd staring at her Starla's moodiness returned. "What are you looking at?"

Soliel smiled and laughed. "You're manners were caught up in your little reunion." She said looking at Starla, "Nice to meet you Starla. As Ama said I'm Soliel." She almost frowned at Starla's sudden mood change. What was up with her?
Lloyd was about to tell Starla what a pleasure it is to meet her when she snapped at him. "I was merely looking at you. Nothing to get upset about. I was trying to figure out why Lady Ama said your scent is different." He said, "It's also very nice to meet you Starla."

Ama was surprised at Starla's outburst. That wasn't like Starla at all! The normally kind and smart adolescent was unusually nasty today. "Goodness Starla what's gotten into you? Lloyd was just looking at you. It wasn't as if he was making a nasty face at you or something like that. I told him that when I smelled your scent but that it smelled different."
Feeling that she upset the group Starla's mood once again changed. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings! I just have been very.....self conscious lately. Please don't judge me by my recent behavior it's just not me." Hanging her head slightly Starla felt terrible. She hadn't meant to snap like she had. But something with this pregnancy had really messed up her emotions. She didn't like not being in control and when she got a hold of Yugure.....oh he would pay!

Groaning as he stood up, Lloyd walked over to Starla. He patted her head and smiled kindly at her. "It's alright. No harm done." He said sniffing her fur and then sitting down near her, "Your scent.... something about it reminds me of someone.... or rather something."
Soliel was wondering what in the world was going on with this Starla helix. She was so... so moody! "Don't worry. I also snapped at them when we first met." She said with a small laugh, "Must be a current theme."

"Oh Starla! Don't feel bad! I guess I took your snap too personally. I guess as soon as I realized you weren't yourself I just jumped to conclusions that you had changed or something. Please don't be angry with me or feel saddened." With this Ama lay her head on top of her friends and nuzzled her gently. Leaning back she looked the female in the eye, hearing what Lloyd said made Ama curious. "Starla you can trust me. Tell me whats wrong."
As soon as she found they all had accepted her outburst without question Starla started tearing up slightly in happiness. They were so kind! She knew Ama for her kindness but these two strangers owed her nothing and yet here they were assuring her she had done no wrong. When Ama nuzzled her Starla nuzzled back and looked into those light blue eyes. "I'm......" Taking a deep breath in she swallowed and reassured herself that she could trust these people. "I'm pregnant Ama."

Soliel stared at Starla in shock for a moment before breaking out in a smile. "That's great Starla! Congratulations! You're going to be a mother." She said feeling happy for this helix she had just met.
Lloyd nodded his head at Starla's news. That solved everything. "Well that explains why your scent is different.... and why you keep having these mood swings." He said with a chuckle, "Congrats on being a mother-to-be. May your future puppies bring you happiness."

The look of pure awe covered Ama's face. "Pregnant?" Well that was a change she wasn't suspecting. It explained so much! The strange scent, the mood swings, the reason the female hadn't been to her territory for a visit in some time. "Oh Starla I'm so happy for you! I wish you the best of luck!" Attacking her friend with happiness the white female made sure not to upset the sensitive stomach.
Smiling Starla was amazed they all look it so wonderfully. But this was Ama and her friends so why wouldn't they take it as well as they did? "Thank you. All of you. You are all so kind. Is there anyway I can help you with your quest? I don't think I should leave the territory seeing as I don't know when exactly I'll be giving birth but I want to help."

Lloyd nodded at Starla. "No problem." He said looking to Ama for a second, "We could use the help searching this territory. Would you like her to help Ama? It'll give you two a chance to catch up."
Soliel smiled at Starla. "Your welcome Starla. Like Lloyd said we could use your help looking around here. I'm afraid I'm not much use." She said.

"I'd love if you came along Starla! The more helixes the quicker the search will go." And Ama truly believed that. It would be great. She could watch Starla, find her siblings and find out who was the helix who got her friend pregnant. "Now I think we've rested long enough ladies and gentlman what do you say to continuing our journey?" She scanned the area and sky taking in her surroundings.
Smiling once again Starla nodded to them all "I'm sure even without me you would have been of a lot of use Soliel." Standing up she stretched out her legs and shook herself, tail flicking lazily behind her. She could feel her nerves getting the better of her, she wanted to get going and now! "Well I'm ready to head out! I say we should head North toward where I'm staying then head across the river and look on that side. What do you guys think?"

Lloyd nodded at Ama and Starla. "I'm ready to go Ama." He said looking to Starla, "Sounds like a plan. We'll have to be careful while in the North though. It's quite dangerous up there." He stood up and faced North. He was ready to go.
Soliel smiled and shook her head. "The most I've done is lead them here." She said as her smile faded, "We'll have to part here then. I'm not too keen on leaving this territory so I'll say my good-byes here. It was nice meeting you Starla, Lloyd, and Ama. May you have a safe journey and find who it is you are searching for."
((I'm going to toss in a one more helix for here and then a couple in the North, okay?))

Oh Soliel was going to leave them! This saddened Ama considerably but if that's how it had to be then that's how it had to be. "Soliel I'm sorry to hear that. Are you 100% sure you must go? Your company has been so pleasant! I'd hate to see you go." She knew the chances of her seeing the beta again were slim and she didn't want to lose a new friend so soon.
Glad she had come up with an idea that had pleased everyone Starla looked sadly at the older female. The search had to continue though and if they had truly searched the entire territory then the only thing left to do was move on. It was the only logical answer and Starla had to be logical even in her......current state. "Soliel I'm sorry if my plan is making you leave! Are you sure you've checked this entire area? There's still some places we could check."

Lloyd looked at Soliel for a moment before nodding slowly. "If you're sure that you can't continue on with us then good bye Soliel. It was a pleasure meeting you." He said bowing slightly at the orange female. He looked at the others and then back to Soliel and noticed her uneasiness. "Come on you two. Let's not pressure her into going to somewhere she doesn't want to go."
Soliel looked from Ama to Starla uneasy. She did want to continue on with them but she didn't want to leave her home either. She was about to give into them when Lloyd spoke. "Thank you Lloyd." She said giving him a smile, "I would love to continue on with you Ama, Starla but I don't feel right leaving my home. Besides I'm sure we'll meet again some other time."

Shame covered the adolescents face as she realized what she had started. "I'm sorry Soliel I didn't mean to try to pressure you into it. It was just that the thought of you leaving us was a surprise I hadn't expected and I wasn't prepared for it coming. I am sad to see you go but I wish you all the best of luck in your life and hopefully we meet again soon!"
But she knew. She knew that Starla knew as well but thankfully the other helix made no comment. If she ever saw this helix again she wouldn't be herself, she would be a wholenother being. She would never see this wonderful beta again.
Hanging her head slightly Starla turned it slightly away from the elders of the group. "I share Ama's exact feelings. I didn't mean any harm I assure you. I accept your decision and will push the matter no further. My best wishes to you in your life ahead." Smiling she nodded respectfully to the beta who Starla hoped she would one day be like.
Feeling the waves of sadness that seemed to radiate from Ama Starla looked caringly at the female. She knew, she knew all too well what Ama was thinking. She only wished it weren't so, that it did not have to happen this way.
Seeing only the outline of the beta from the corner of her eye Starla felt her heart speed up and her breath leave her as she whipped her head around. But it was just Soliel, she knew it was Soliel. So why had she thought she had seen instead a blue winged beta with a strange suspicion for everything? And more importantly why had she been so upset when it turned out not to be him?

Soliel shook her head smiling. "It's quite alright Ama." She said, "I do hope we meet again soon." She kinda caught the feeling of sadness from Ama and Starla but wasn't quite sure what was causing it. Shaking her head she inclined her head to each helix before waving. "Goodbye my new friends." She said before walking away.Lloyd waved goodbye to Soliel and watched her leave. "Well now ladies shall we get going?" He said looking to them both. He too felt the sadness coming from Ama and sighed. "I'm sure you'll meet her again and even though you'll be different you two will still be friends. The bond you've made here today will never go away no matter how you change." He said. He began walking towards the border of the North.
After walking for a bit he paused. Glancing around he couldn't shake the feeling that there was someone else there. "Do you two feel it?" He whispered, "That we're being watched?"And indeed they were being watched. Shortly after Soliel left another helix happened to notice the group and began watching them. Gina was terribly shy of others and thus was hiding and watching instead of coming out and talking to them. She followed them quietly as they headed towards the North.
She hide behind a huge oak tree as Lloyd paused and whispered to the two females. What was he saying?((Sure. It would make it easier indeed.))

Taking comfort in Lloyd's words Ama nodded her head. Lloyd was right, she would meet Soliel again and their friendship would last no matter the effect this curse would have on her mind.
Throughout their walk a strange feeling had taken hold, though Ama had no clue what it was she recognized it instantly once Lloyd had mentioned something. "Yes I feel it too. Do you think the helix is a threat? I've felt their eyes for awhile now." The whispered response was aimed at Lloyd but Ama was also asking Starla's opinion on this matter.
Though Starla hadn't felt the eyes she had sensed something just beyond her range. She was just about to say something when Lloyd mentioned the supposed helix who had been following them. Though she respected the others opinions she couldn't help calling out to stranger. "Hey we know you're watching us! Why don't you come out of your hiding we don't bite......much." Giggling slightly Starla realized she had done something without the approval of the other two members of the group. "Sorry guys I didn't mean to call them out without your approval."
