The young mare smiled softly, lost in wonder for the world around them and comfortable with the solid shadowy stallion at her side. For perhapse the first time in a long shile she wasn't on high alert, wasn't constantly looking around, half frightened some large preditor would pounce at her from some unseen hiding place. No, with the dark stallion close by she felt safe, reasured somehow.
The sudden brush of his muzzle over her coat suprised her, graceful head dropping as she blinked up at him, ears pricked curiously. The huff of warm breath made her giggle, cheeks darkening with a shy blush. Tilting her head she smiled before shyly stretching slender muzzle up and nuzzling free a petal that had got caught in the stallion's dark mane.

The big black stallion never felt so close to another before, but it had been a rather long time now since he'd met Liadain, and kept a hold of her friendship instead of wondering off away from the shy and curious doe.
His ears twitched when she giggled, a tail swish behind him.
Lowering his neck politely for her to take the petals from his mane. The braids' beads clanking lightly from his mane. Atomics watching her in a more of concern of her well being then the concern of her touching his shadowy body. In which he had shedded some shadows upon her white winter-y fur in which began to disintegrate from her pelt because of the sunlight above them.
"Sorry if I startled you." He had noted her blush.

The low rumbling voice brought a new blush to snowy cheeks, but the doe smiled, pale eyes warm and alive if a little shy. She was as unused to company as the stallion but she found his nearness both comforting and exciting. "Oh no... you didn't.. it's ok." Her soft, gentle voice replied, the blush remaining on her cheeks until she felt the cool touch of shadows over her fur. Tilting her head she looked back, fasinated as the darkness slowly slid away and vanished as if into thin air.
Peeking back up at Moofu she smiled, tail flicking eagerly. "You feel nice.. like the snow.." Lifting her head again she gently touched her muzzle to the male's neck, nearly going cross-eyed as she watched the darkness leek over her nose, sending a little chill through her. Giggling she dipped her head, as if trying to catch the evaporating drips of shadows. It felt like the snow powder but it was so dark!

As she watched and then guided her snout into his shadowy body he ran his snout down her back lightly and then back up it to his prior stance. Swivelling his ears as he went to listen to her soft elegant way of speaking.
"You feel rather soft to be exact." He answered in reply. As the fur upon her back was just a bit different then his. Enjoying the attention to his neck, a canine-like attribute making him feel happy about being 'petted.' An awkward emotion for the stern stallion.
His tail swishing more in a more canine approach as well. "I'm glad I make you feel like home?" He answered to her chilly shiver.

The cool brush against her leg made her giggle softly, his compliment adding to the colour upon her cheeks though her eyes sparkled playfully.
"Thank you." Tilting her head she blinked up at him. She almost said 'no ones said that to me before' but in actual fact she couldn't remember the last time she spoke to another... it had been some time ago that was for sure.
Nodding easily she smiled happily, little fluffy tail wagging. "You do. Except your dark.. like the night, not white like the snow.. you are night-snow." Pausing she seemed to consider this and then giggled, prancing happily she brushed her shoulder against his, her tiny frame looking fragile and small against the stallion's own. "Night-snow! You are snow at night and Im snow at daytime." Giggling she turned and looked up at him, noticing a stray petal on his darkness she leaned forwards and fished it off for him.

Watched her and tilted his head cunningly. "Night-Snow." His voice spoke out and then nosed her snout with his own. "Is that my new name for you? I do quite enjoy the sound of it.." Leaning away when she said she was the snow at day time. "Day Snow?" He tilted his head again. "Sounds funny mind you.. but your markings do remind me of the snow. The blue majestically hovers in like a light frost bite.. So I gather it is fitting for you."
He's never really spoken this much to anyone before so this was a first for him. And he seemed to have softened quite the bit towards Liadain.

Stilling herself she tilted her head curiously as Moofu leaned forwards, the brush of his nose against her own making her smile. Glancing down as he moved back again she watched the shadows from the touch drip ghost-like from her muzzle, near going cross-eyed as she did so.
Blinking she looked back up at him, giggling softly. "Do you like the name? I like yours, Moofu.. it fits you. Moofu of the night snow." Tail wiggling she giggled softly once more before his compliment sent her to blushing again, though she smiled shyly up at him. ".. majestic? That sounds really pretty.. thank you." Dipping her head she blushed, swaying to touch her shoulder to his in gratitude before moving back and looking up at the male once more, a light smile on her muzzle.
A stray petal floated past her ear, causing it to flicker sensitivly. Glancing round she gazed at the forest anew. "Is this a big place?"

Watched her react to his shadows he let out a low chuckle. Which was an interesting sound coming from the male.
"Yes.. I like my name. The nickname was given to me by Piobot, my foxx companion who comes around now and then.. Moofu that is.. And Night Snow makes sense now indeed." Flicking his ears enjoying the sound of her enjoying his compliment. "I am glad you enjoy the beauty of such a word Liadain..."
Moving his muzzel to flick off the petal lightly from her ear. Then looked around. "In the end. The world is an entirely big place. For this is just a breif glance of it's marvelous displays of nature.. So in a way you could say it's big enough."
