"GACK! Cut that out!" The pup stumbled back, quickly pawing at where he was licked. What the heck, why was everyone gaining up on him all of a sudden?!?!
"-You- wouldn't be interested in anything -I- like to do. So there!" Of course this was merely a cover up for the fact he simply couldn't think of anything to do. But they didn't need to know that.

"Come on, Mimi!! Loosen up! Lets have some fun!" With this outburst, Rene dove into the log and began tromping through it getting into whatever mischief she could.

"How would you know if we don't enjoy if we don't try it?" Gant was honestly puzzled by this line of thought, not even considering that Miles might be drawing a blank on stuff to do. "Yeah, fun is fun! Let's go have some!"
And with that, Gant abandoned badgering Miles and bolted up on to the log. "Hey, what'll you do if you get stuck?" He thumped the log with a paw. "Oooh, neat sounds."

As his two siblings ran around the dirty old log, Miles simply sat back and shuddered. How, exactly, was this supposed to be any fun? This was just...a big waste of time! They were just getting dirty, and then mom would get upset and force them into the lake and it just wouldn't be fun. Hrmph!
Grumbling, Miles took a few steps towards the log...simply to keep a better eye on his siblings. "It'd serve her right to get stuck..."

"I won't get stuck!" Rene snorted, her paw appearing out of the hole to swat at Gant.

Gant stumbled back on to his rump at the sudden paw-swipe. He bounced back to his feet in an instant, thrusting his own paw into the hole to swipe futilely at Renegade. An idea chewed at the back of his mind.
"You're right. I don't think anybody'd get stuck in there. Not even sticky-britches Miles." In a stage whisper, he continued, "I think he's just afraid of the dirt." Transparent as all get out, but maybe it'd be worth a few laughs to see Miles get rilled. Or if he actually did go in the log and get stuck.

"I am NOT afraid of -dirt-!" He just didn't like to get dirty, that's all! Ah but his temper got the better of him, and without pausing to perhaps think of better ideas Miles rushed forward into the log. "SEE! I'm not afraid of this stupid thing!"

"Mimi~ Bet you can't catch me~!" Rene called from the far side of a large patch of particularly slimy moss, hidden in darkness now that Gant's paw blocked the sole source of light.

Gant blinked, and paused for a beat, totally taken off guard. Then he laughed. "See? See! This is fun!" Wriggled his paw around in the hole, attempting to swat at anything he could reach. His tail beat out a tempo against the log as he wagged it happily.

"I can catch you easily!!" Or maybe -normally- he could, but this particular time....
Miles rushed into the log after his sister, but only made it a few steps before being thwaped by Gant's wiggling paw. He let out a yipe of surprise and tumbled forward...right onto the slimy patch of moss. Paws flailing wildly, Miles slid right through the log and went flying out the other side.

Renegade stared after her brother in shock a moment before bursting with laughter. "That was awesome!" she declared, running out the end of the log to grin down at him, tail wagging.

"... dude. This is the best log ever." Gant climbed along the top of the log, stopping at the edge. He leaned over, peering into it upside down.
"I wonder if I could do that."

"That was NOT awesome!" A very slimed up and grouchy looking Miles slowly stomped his way back to the log. "And don't you DARE try to do it too! Mom will kill you!"

Distracted by the sudden fear of mom, Gant lost his grip and flipped over, hitting the ground with a loud thud. "Ooof." He rolled over and looked at his siblings. Wow, Miles was all slimy.
"... we could go swimming. Then you'd just be wet and not dirty."
