He frowned "So... its... Ice then? Or.. what?" Cold fire seemed like an oxymoron to him. No way to actually exist.

That made more sense to him "OH! I see. Hmm.. I wonder if your brother could handle the heat of the stars?" He muttered to himself "SO cold fire is the hottest.. and has lightning? MUST you have this cold fire to do that?"

He looked amused at that "Funny... it only happens for me when I'm not in control..." Shrugging "I don't mind being different though.."

"Well... its always happened at the same time as my.... explosions. So if this bending means create... then yes. Never on purpose though. Those explosions I get are HIGHLY destructive.. nothing ever survives it... except me..." He shrugged again, looking vaguely sheepish over his lack of control.

Ares shook his head "Not really... it would be impressive if I could control when it happened and how much destruction happens. As it is now its more of an annoyance. Control is my greatest weapon... and I need to harness it around my power..."

He gave a small grin "I've got the emotion thing down. I need to stay calm and collected unless I want to blow everything I pass up. Of course there are still times my emotions get the best of me... thats why i need control. I'd rather not force my emotions so far away that I no longer feel anything. That could be disastrous.."

"Because once I no longer feel... why would I care if I had control over my power? I may learn to control it.. and then just let it loose... because it wouldn't matter to me anymore if I hurt or destroyed everything around me." And boy did he know that all too well. He had gotten dangerously close to that point when he was younger... and he knew he could gain almost perfect control that way. But.. he could also remember the thoughts he had then... and he could still see reminders of things he destroyed 'because he could' around him. He never wanted to go that far down that path again.
