Yeah, 500 eggs is an insane amount.
I'm possibly lucky I work two 12 hour shifts this weekend.
If it's not too busy, I just might be able to get those slippers.
*sigh* Why must they be so cute?

Wait, the last item is 500 eggs???!!!! Are you serious? How the hell can Gaia think any of us can obtain that many eggs--do they think we are all jobless, out of school, no lifes that do NOTHING but sit in front of Gaia all day?

That's ludicrous. I have about 1k worth of Gaia Cash left from Christmas, and I am definitely not going to donate another dime to this place. I'm pretty glad the GaiaCash I do have was a gift.

The first item wasn't hard. I forget how many eggs the first two cost. Either 10 and 25, or 25 and 50. But the third is 100, which I thought was a challenge, and 500?! That's nutso! I'm catching up on a little facebook stuff while Jason tries to install a projector/screen for his dad's surprise 60th birthday present in a couple weeks, and I just remembered that although 500 eggs might not be possible, I still have no idea when the event actually ends (I looked and couldn't find mention) and if for some reason it runs through all of next week, I may be able to do it.
What I do is find one of the announcements with hardly anything on it and refresh that so there's a lot white space and and I don't have to scroll down much.

The first item was 10, and the second item (which I'm working on now) is 25. The jump to 100 is big, but not outrageous like the jump from 100 to 500. I'll take your suggestion about refreshing an announcement fawN, thanks!

EDIT- Duh, it's called Cherry Blossom! Was that a donation item from some month?

I got a pretty daisy in my aquarium for Earth day. I hope it will be there after Earth day..
I walked the Girkl to school this morning, though it was a bit chilly.. she only complained half the way there biggrin
Looks like we are coming up on the ides of May!

Did the Earth Day daisy stay after Earth Day? I just saw the announcement, but when I checked my aquarium, of course nothing was different (besides a dead cuttlefish.) I missed it by almost a week!
It was warm enough today to go without a jacket, but it was pretty windy.

Yeah, nothing special about the daisy, it just went away after Earth Day.
It was 90 here yesterday, and 80+ all weekend. Now it's back down to 60.
