Danari: *Peering into bucket of river water her door, frowning a little as her tail flicks*

Janus: -Clenches his teeth and hisses a bit, the pain from his back feeling worse than the day before. Slowly, he tries to shift off his couch so he can go to his room, since he amazlingly made it home the night before, but eventually he gives up since his back says no, even though his mind says go for it-

Danari: *Stares at the bucket, willing the sediments to settle so she can use them. Since that doesn't seem to be happening she grumbles and pulls her door closed. Sets out to check up on her favorite asswipe*

Janus: -Carefully scoots his way back on to the couch, which is not that easy of a task right now. Once on, he closes his eyes to rest and ease away the pain, though that isn't going so well with how frustrated he is at the moment.-

Danari: *Knocks on the door at Janus' place when she arrives a bit later, then checks to see if the door is unlocked so he doesn't have to move*

Janus: -Groans and opens his eyes when he hears a knock on the door- It's open!

Danari: *Pushes the door open and peeks in* Hey, how are you feeling?

Janus: I can't even move and I feel like s**t. The day is just going wonderfully.

Danari: *Slips in and closes the door behind her* No improvement at all?

Janus: It's only the second day. I'm not going to just bounce back from having my back dug in to like that -snaps his fingers-

Danari: *Shrugs* I thought maybe you're kind would have faster healing or something

Janus: -Glares at the ceiling- We are fast, but not that fast, especially with serious injuries.

Danari: *Walks over and sits down on the floor in front of the couch* Well see, I've learned something new

Janus: -Looks over at Ri and raises a brow- Something new?

Danari: That you don't heal super fast

Janus: -Rolls his eyes and rests his head in his arms- Well congrats to you then.

Danari: Yep, congrats to me. *Cocks her head* You want anything?

Janus: I want to kick that guys a** again once I can move again.

Danari: Ohh? *Sits up to lean over Janus and stare at him* He get to you?

Janus: -Opens an eye and stares right back at Ri- Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. Maybe I just enjoy fighting with him.

Danari: Should I invest in more bandages then?

Janus: If you want to play nurse, then go right ahead and do that.

Danari: *Rolls her eyes and then strokes a hand down Janus' arm* Yeah yeah, just don't get yourself killed. Or I'll be forced to find a way to bring you back from the dead so I can kick your a**

Janus: -Scuffs and rests his head again- I'll make sure that those words are my final thoughts when I'm finally lying on my death bed.

Danari: Then your first thoughts upon being brought back to life will be, "s**t, it's her again" or "What a nuisance" *Slides her hand up to play with his ear*

Janus: Well we won't know until it happens, but I don't plan on dying anytime soon anyway. -Ear lightly move when Ri's hand comes near-

Danari: I don't think many usually plan on dying *Seeks out the spot and lightly scratches it*

Janus: -Continues to try and resist, but eventually falls through and lightly purrs and while relaxing- Most of the time...

Danari: *Smirks inwardly as she continues with her attention* When hasn't it then?

Janus: -Seems to just shut down and go completely lazy as his purrs grow louder- I don't know...like now?

Danari: *Blinks in confusion* Now?

Janus: Mmhm, now? Or do I have to explain what Now means?

Danari: I know what now means *Rolls her eyes* Now isn't something you planned?

Janus: -Carefully shrugs a little, making sure not to strain his shoulder- No, not really.

Danari: I suppose I shouldn't be surprised

Janus: -Opens an eye once again and stares at Ri- Why do you say that?

Danari: I don't think anyone ever plans for me

Janus: I don't see how anyone could, even if they got a heads up and tried.

Danari: *Grins* I take that as a compliment

Janus: Tch, no surprise there I suppose.

Danari: See? You know me oh so well

Janus: I don't know if I should take that as a good thing or a curse.

Danari: Probably a curse

Janus: Then I consider myself lucky I'm not dead yet.

Danari: What do you mean?

Janus: Plain and simple, not all curses end well.

Danari: Well that really boosts my ego

Janus: Well you're the one who said I should consider you a curse, so that is what you get.

Danari: Who said I wasn't being serious?

Janus: If your serious, then I guess you're serious. If you need an ego boost, then I guess I could try and find one for you.

Danari: *Rolls her eyes* Nevermind *Goes back to leaning against the couch and looks over the room*

Janus: -Rolls his own eyes- Nevermind never really solved anything.

Danari: I wasn't aware we were trying to solve anything *Looks towards his room* Do you want a pillow and blanket?

Janus: I wasn't either, until you decided to get mad over the whole thing. -shrugs- Sure.

Danari: *Blinks* I'm not mad *Stands and heads off to Janus' room and mutters* at you anyways

Janus: -Ears flick at the muttering- Who then?

Danari: *Looks back towards Janus then picks up his pillow* Do you want a blanket too?

Janus: -Nods- Yeah, might as well.

Danari: *Grabs up his blanket and heads out to the living room. Tosses the blanket over him* Lift your head

Janus: -Lifts his head and tosses the blanket from over it-

Danari: *Slips the pillow under Janus' head* Need anything else?

Janus: Nope. Just tell me who you are mad at.

Danari: *Shrugs and reclaims her spot on the floor in front of the couch* I'm mad at that ghost guy

Janus: -Settles his head on the pillow and gets comfortable- Any specific reason other than the obvious guess?

Danari: Not really Next time I see them, I'm going to smack him harder

Janus: What, you are going to carry that pan around with you from now on?

Danari: No. He just has the misfortune of bumping into me whenever I have it on me

Janus: Well how convenient for you then. It all just falls in to place.

Danari: *Shrugs* I manage to walk away without my back being stabbed to hell

Janus: -Ears fall as he glares angrily over at Ri for the comment- ...

Danari: *Holds up her hands* Sorry, bad comment

Janus: -Grunts, easing his glares a bit at the acknowledgement- You're just lucky I can't move right now.

Danari: I know that, you could kick my a** *Leans against the couch* Think of it this way. Only reason he hasn't cut me up is because I always managed to smack him over the head before he noticed me. If he ever caught me, he'd probably shred me to bits.

Janus: I wonder how long you can keep that act up then. If he has a brain, or has held anything from you bashing him in the head, then he is bound to learn at some point and time. If not, well he's an idiot.

Danari: Then I hope I can run faster than him

Janus: You can't really run from something that can vanish and appear right in front of you.

Danari: Then I guess I'll be screwed in a bad way

Janus: You could always carry salt or a lighter with you.

Danari: *Looks confused* Salt or a lighter?

Janus: You don't know anything about ghosts, do you?

Danari: Not really

Janus: Well here is a quick lesson for you; salt can be used to ward away ghosts and I think our ghost has a slight fear of fire.

Danari: How interesting *Files that info away* Fire huh? Quite an advantage on your part

Janus: Too bad I didn't figure it out until the end, so it didn't really help anyway.

Danari: You know for the next time you see him though

Janus: If I ever run in to him again and we get in to another fight.

Danari: I'm sure you will, he always seems to pop up

Janus: For all I know he could pop up looking for you again, but just get me, again.

Danari: *Cocks her head* Do you blame me?

Janus: -Ears flick at the question- I could, if I was that kind of person, but I'm not, so why would I?

Danari: *Shrugs* It kind of sounded like you might

Janus: If I blamed you in anyway, then you would know it, no problem. But like I said, I don’t so just forget about it. However, if I somehow never get better, then I will blame you for your heck nursing skills.

Danari: *Rolls her eyes and fake pouts* I'm trying. I cleaned your wounds, wrapped them, and offering to cater to your every need

Janus: And yet somehow if it happens, you still failed. Such a sad tale to tell everyone. I'll give you credit for trying, but still.

Danari: I'm touched that you'll give me credit

Janus: Nice to know you aren't so touched you have to get emotional and cry a river through my house.

Danari: *Grumbles* I never cry, it's a waste of time

Danari: *Out, just kind of aimlessly wandering. Her hands stuffed in her pockets and her mind kind of lost in thought*

Janus: -Kicks at the ground of the path to his house, his mind still kind of swimming with anger at yesterday's events, but kind of calmed down too since the walk seemed to help a bit-

Danari: *Comes to a stop when she hears something. Looks around before spotting Janus on a path, cocks her head and just watches him for a moment*

Janus: -Eyes slowly looks around when he gets the feeling someone is watching him. Shakes his head and tries to push the feeling back, but he comes to a slow stop when he can't-

Danari: *Wonders if he realizes that she's there. Debates ducking behind a tree or just moving more out into the open*

Janus: -Ears lightly perk to try and pick up any movement in the area while his eyes dart around. Lets out a frustrated grunt figuring he is just being paranoid or something, but heads in the direction he feels the stare is coming from anyway-

Danari: *Figures she's been spotted* Coming to kill me now?

Janus: -Quickly looks in the direction of Ri's voice, and sighs- Why, you want to be killed or something?

Danari: No, but you didn't look to happy *Walks over to Janus and looks him over*

Janus: -Crosses his arms and looks down at Ri- Well you don't look your best either, but then again you haven't really been yourself lately.

Danari: *Blinks* I haven't? *Circles around Janus to get a look at his back*

Janus: -Doesn't really bother spinning around to follow Ri- No, you haven't, so I'm guessing you still haven't worked out whatever it is that is wrong with you.

Danari: *Shrugs, then circles back around* How's your injuries?

Janus: Alright I guess. Haven't really done anything to make them worse or anything. -Shoulder injury is mostly closed up and healing, back is wounds are at least starting to close up and slowly healing-

Danari: Have they been bothering you much?

Janus: No, not really. I can't feel much of anything from them anymore.

Danari: That's good... An injury like that, would keep a normal person in bed for a long time

Janus: -Nods- I suppose it would, but I'm fine, and you don't seem to be anymore.

Danari: What do you mean?

Janus: I don't know. You've been so still and quiet lately, like you're out of it or stick some place other than here.

Danari: *Smiles a little* Aren't you enjoying the break?

Janus: Tch, and why would you say something like that?

Danari: *Shrugs, then cocks her head in curiosity* Are you worried about me?

Janus: -Shrugs- Maybe, maybe not. You can think want you want.

Danari: I usually do *Sighs* How was your walk?

Janus: I think it is fairly simple to figure out, and yeah, I was, but I'm in no rush.

Danari: Would you like to walk with me then?

Janus: -Shrugs- Sure, if you want me to come along I might as well.

Danari: *Nods, then just begins walking in no real direction* See the resident ghost lately?

Janus: No, but he'll show up when he wants to, if he wants to.

Danari: And what would you do then?

Janus: I guess that would depends on why he is around in the first place.

Danari: If he's just out for a pleasant stroll, basking in the beauty of life?

Janus: Somehow I can't really picture him doing something like that...

Danari: What about if he was following us?

Janus: If he is following us then I guess we are screwed since you don't have your pan around.

Danari: *Shrugs* He's been following me for the last hour or so and hasn't done anything, so I'm guessing he has no real interest in me.

Janus: He has been following you, or well us now and you just now decide to say something about it?

Danari: I kind of forgot he was there. I only remembered because you're here now, and I thought maybe he's not interested in me, but you.

Janus: Pff. -Looks behind him out of the corner of his eye and shakes his head- Nice flip from last time I suppose...

Danari: He mistook you for me, now he's using me to find you?

Ezekiel: *Perched on a high branch, tapping his claws on the tree while watching the 2 down below*

Janus: Looks like he got what he wanted then. Now what? He just going to follow us around all day?

Danari: He probably doesn't want you setting him on fire

Ezekiel: *Realizes that he's been spotted* ... *Shrugs, uses his poltergeist powers to lift a couple of rocks off the ground and send them flying at the other 2*

Janus: -Ears perk straight up at the sight of the rocks flying toward them- Damn Ghost... -Quickly moves to push Ri to the side as he tries to dodge the rocks by jumping to the opposite side-

Danari: *Flails before falling back on her a**. Watches as the rocks smash into a tree* ...I did not know he could do that

Ezekiel: *Closes his eyes since that kind of stuff always takes a lot out of him*

Janus: -Crouches down to the ground and looks over at the now beaten up tree- Well now you know, and I think we should get going before he tries again.

Danari: *Pushes to her feet* That's probably a smart idea

Ezekiel: *Disappears from the branches, reappears down below*

Janus: -Jumps up to run off, but doesn't even get a chance to start when Zeke appears- Oh now he is going to show his face..

Ezekiel: *Smirks* Still healing?

Danari: *Slides over to Janus*

Janus: -Bites his tongue and glares at Zeke, figuring he really must have been following Ri around and heard their conversation- Just as much as you as you still lack a d**k I suppose. -shrugs-

Danari: *Coughs and chokes back a laugh*

Ezekiel: *Snorts* Funny, I don't recall dropping my pants for you or sleeping with you

Janus: Maybe that's cause the memories of such a dream fade since it hurts to know it will never happen to you. Would explain why you seem so cranky all the time, but really, can't see who would bother getting laid by you.

Ezekiel: *Glares* As if you're better off with your little she beast, at least I haven't dropped that low!

Janus: -Glares right back and holds back his anger- Could be cause you were already sitting at the very bottom.

Ezekiel: Rather be without se then stuck with what you got!

Danari: *Digs in her pockets for a candy bar or something*

Janus: Well for a she beast I think she does a good job of kicking you a** since I never see you walking away as a winner.

Ezekiel: *Eye narrows* Luck has been on her side, but it won't always be that way *Disappears*

Danari: *Nibbles at her candy bar and drops the rock*

Janus: Well that was a waste of time...

Danari: *Shrugs* I thought it was entertaining

Janus: Right, thank god someone did..

Danari: You didn't?

Janus: Well I guess it was. A fight is a fight anyway.

Danari: Except this time you don't walk away with gouges in your back

Janus: That is a step up. You think he is really gone this time?

Danari: Yeah, he won't be back

Janus: Might as well get home incase he decides to change his mind.

Danari: Oh, alright *Takes a bite out of her candy bar to hide the disappointment of losing company*

Janus: -Picks up on Ri's vibe and resists rolling his eyes- You can come with me if you want.

Danari: *Ears perk slightly* Alright

Janus: -Nods towards the direction of his place and heads out- Come on then.

Danari: *Falls into step beside Janus, cocks her head* I'm sorry

Janus: Hm? -Looks back at Ri- Sorry about what?

Danari: That I'm off, have been off. I'll try to get back to normal soon

Janus: There is nothing to be sorry about. Something happened, your off, and that is just how it is. You can't really force yourself back until you know what is going on anyway.

Danari: *Blinks* That's why you're the smart one

Janus: Really now? Then what does that make you?

Danari: The idiot *Finishes off her candy bar and stuffs the wrapper in her mouth*

Janus: Yeah, you sure are showing it so far... -Takes his key out as they arrive to the front door. Quickly unlocks it and shoves the door open while turning the lights on and stepping inside-

Danari: *Yawns* Don't I always? *Follows Janus inside and slips off her boots*

Janus: Yeah, yeah you really do, but somehow it all works out for you. -Heads to his bedroom to change-

Danari: That's because I've got dumb luck on my side and smart people like you

Janus: Life must just love you then. -Strips down to his boxers and slips in to one of his pajama pants then heads back out- Though I wonder how you would fair without all of that.

Danari: I'd either be dead or a stone cold b***h, which some already say I am, but there's always vast room for improvement

Janus: -Shrugs and takes a seat on the couch- At times you pretty much are, but I'm not so sure how I would take it if you did change.

Danari: *Sits down on the couch and flops down to lay her head on his lap* Probably not well, at least I like to think so

Janus: -Plays around and runs his fingers through Ri's hair- Well I did become attracted to the "annoying" little b***h, so if you changed in to anything other, yeah probably not.

Danari: *Closes her eyes and begins to purr* Oddly enough, that makes me feel a little better

Janus: I guess that's a step forward from your problem.

Danari: *Mumbles* You make it sound like I'm alcoholic

Janus: With the way you act at times you very well could be.

Danari: Never touched the s**t, I find it disgusting and what it does to people equally disgusting

Janus: -Hangs upside down in a tree, his legs bent over a branch to keep him hanging instead of his normal gravity defying act, and stares out in to the forest, his eyes locked on no one thing at the moment. He hand finished some exercises and training a long while ago, but after the last excerise he didn't really feel like moving..-

Danari: *Tromping through the woods, irritated, but not sure why. The fur on her tail was standing on end as it flicked in an irritating manner.*

Janus: -Shifts a bit as he starts to crawl out of his trance, his eyes darting around as the "sudden" darkness- Damn zone out.. -Sighs and continues to hang there, his senses telling him something is near, but his body just telling there to hang there in an uncaring manner-

Danari: *Grumbles and comes to a stop. She glares around, then just kind of slumps in defeat since there's nothing to take her anger out on. She plops down under a tree and just kind of sits there*

Janus: -Raises a brow at the sight of Ri and her current state of irritation. He inwardly battles between hanging there or going down to investigate. Sighs and swings down to the lower branches after side B wins, and just crouches there for a moment- Why is the cat so irritated this time?

Danari: *Jumps in surprise at the sound of movement up above. Snaps her gaze up to Janus and glowers* People in general. *Looks back down at the ground* They're idiots

Janus: Well that is nothing new, but do you want to be a littler more specific here?

Danari: *Sighs* Someone broke into my place

Janus: -Blinks at the statement- They broke in to your place? -Drops down to the ground and takes a seat next to Ri- They take anything important?

Danari: Some gems and stuff I had out for work, some of my finished stuff... *Runs a hand through her hair, then shudders* They went through all my drawers and tore apart my room

Janus: -Shrugs- Maybe you need to better lock, or maybe move to a new space. They might return knowing they can get in now.

Danari: *Grunts since she'd already thought of that* I just... I want to find them and wrap my hands around their throat so I can watch their life drain from their bodies.

Janus: -Raises a brow- You even have a clue as to who they might be?

Danari: *Shakes her head and then slumps in defeat.* No...

Janus: Then what are you going to do about it?

Danari: I don't know *Shrugs jerkily* I'm not so mad about the stuff that got taken. It's that someone went through my stuff. They violated my space without my permission, and pawed through whatever they could their grimy hands on *She glares at the ground*

Janus: So what do you plan to do about all that then? Call an exterminator and have everything disinfected?

Danari: I washed all my clothes, and bedding. *Flicks at a piece of grass* And I don't know what to do, I can't think properly...

Janus: -Leans back against the tree and stares at his nails- Well do you WANT to do then, besides kill someone?

Danari: I kind of want to bite you, I'm not sure why though

Janus: Like we haven't been through that several times already.

Danari: Don't recall you ever complaining *Shifts to lean against him*

Janus: Well I don't recall ever having a reason to complain about it.

Danari: What would you do? If you're place was broken into?

Janus: If someone was crazy enough to do such a thing. I would probably track them down and kill them.

Danari: So essentially the same thing I'm trying to do?

Janus: Yeah, I suppose, though you have nothing to really go by here.

Danari: So what would you do if you've got nothing to go by? *Closes her eyes while taking some comfort from his warmth*

Janus: -Pays no mind since he is used to being a heater by now- Lay low and see if any word about the theft pops up. For all you know you could be dealing with a moronic thief who doesn't keep his mouth shut, or if someone happen to catch sight of what was going on.

Danari: I may just do that... Don't know much good it will do

Janus: -Shrugs- If you're lucky you might get to keep the promise of killing them off.

Danari: *Mutters* Unless they're already dead

Janus: Talking about that ghost?

Danari: *Nods* He's the only one I can think of really, that I know anyways.

Janus: You could always burn is a** or use some salt like I said.

Danari: If I can find him *Shrugs* Maybe I'm just hoping it's him, since the thought of him doing it isn't as bad as the thought of some stranger doing it

Janus: Everything is always better when dealing with someone you know in some form or sense, it is how it always is, even if you hate the person. It's a stupid feeling of familiarity, just knowing what you are dealing with in some sense.

Danari: I think it's because if you know them, you can place them blame on them. And because you can beat their head in...

Janus: -Rolls his eyes- Or at least go low and hit them with a damn pan out of everything you could possibly use...

Danari: *Rolls her eyes* Well it's not like I could stab him since a lot of good it'd do stabbing a dead guy. And I'm not like you, I don't have fire power *Pulls back to dig in her pocket, holds up a thingie of salt.* Have this though.

Janus: ....You carry salt around with you now?

Danari: *Shrugs* You said it works, am I wrong to trust your word?

Janus: -Shakes his head and looks away- That is up to you and a matter of opinion. Yeah, I said it works, but I didn't think you would stick to keeping salt on hand like that.

Danari: *Raises a brow when he looks away* Well if I get skewered, you'll know it was a bad idea

Janus: -Scuffs and looks back at Ri- At least I'll know you went down trying.

Danari: I'm sure that thought would comfort you at night *Pats him on the shoulder before leaning up to kiss his cheek*

Janus: Tch, oh, right, you have no idea.. -Ears flick at the kiss-

Danari: What? I'm allowed my delusions? It's how I survive

Janus: Oh, you're allowed your little delusions, just don't go too far with them.

Danari: Do I ever? *Snorts* Don't answer that. *Looks around, then up at the tree branches* Will you stay with me tonight?

Janus: -Had opened his mouth to answer, but shuts it- Hm? You want me to stay with you tonight?

Danari: *Nods* Yeah...

Janus: -Shrugs a bit- If it is really going to make you feel better or something, then fine.

Danari: *Smiles* Thanks

Janus: -Stands in front of his clothes drawer looking for a shirt to wear, nothing but a pair of jeans on and a towel covering his semi-wet hair. Ears perk at the sound of something hitting his door- ...What the hell? -Slips out of his room and opens up the door, his brow raising at the sight of the box- ...

Jolt: *Sparks inside the box, growling with in her shell*

Janus: .. -carefully kicks the box and growls right back- Shut up in there or I'll send you sailing back to where ever the hell you came from! -Kicks the box inside and shuts the door-

Jolt: *Smacks against the wall of the box in a rebellious manner*

Janus: If you keep acting like that I'll never let you, whatever you are, out of the box. -Slides the box along with his foot to his bedroom so he can finish getting dressed-

Jolt: *Falls silent, then wiggles and decides that she enjoys the ride*

Janus: -Stops once he is in his room and walks over to his drawer, taking out a dark blue, almost black shirt and slipping it on. Walks over to the box and opens it- An egg?

Jolt: *Sparks a little, then flops back as she tries to peer through her shell to see where te voice is coming from.*

Janus: If whoever sent you thinks I am going to take you in, then they must be crazy.. - Picks the box up, closing the flaps, and heads outside to see if he find anyone who knows the egg-

Jolt: *Growls inside the box when she's lifted. Bumps back and forth as she rolls*

Janus: Oh shut up. -Smacks the box and looks around when he steps outside-

Jolt; *Sparks wildly as the box is smacked. Scratches at the inside of her shell while growling more*

Janus: -Drops the box and kicks it once more- I told you to cut it out already! I must just let you fend for yourself if I don't find whomever you belong to.

Danari: *Walks up, having been on her way to visit* Arguing with a box?

Jolt: *Has fallen silent within*

Janus: -Kicks the box over to Ri- It's what's inside the damn box.

Danari: *Raises a brow, walks over and opens up the box* ...You're arguing with an egg?

Janus: Tch, -crosses his arms and waves a hand- It was the one having a stupid tantrum to start with. I don't even want anything to do with the stupid thing. Someone left it in front of my house.

Danari: Doesn't seem like it wants anything to do with you either *Pokes the egg and gets shocked. Winces and sticks her finger in her mouth*

Jolt: *Wiggles happily*

Janus: -Smirks and raises a brow- Nor you it seems. -shrugs- Whoever dropped it off left anyway.

Danari: *Pulls her finger out and flips Janus the bird* Maybe it was the stork? *Smirks* Have you been sleeping around on me?

Janus: -Flips her off right back- Oh yeah, cause I just have a whole harem of woman waiting around for my presence. -rolls his eyes-

Danari: Wouldn't surprise me with how you look. *Stands and stretches, then nudges the egg with her foot while biting back a smile*

Jolt: *Wiggles more, then flops*

Janus: Psh, women who throw their self at me aren't worth my time. -Carefully watches the egg-

Danari: Yet I am? *Tips the box over*

Jolt: *Goes rolling across the floor.*

Janus: I don't see you complaining about my choice. -Taps Jolt with his foot to rolls her back to her previous spot-

Jolt: *Wonders if this is some form of game. Decides she wants no part of it and starts rolling around to explore*

Danari: That's because I have no reason to *Watches Jolt roll around* Don't they usually have tail fluffs sticking out of their shells?

Janus: I guess that one is different. -Shrugs- Maybe it has no tail, or something ripped it out.

Danari: *Looks over at Janus in a suspicious manner* It wasn't you, was it?

Jolt: *Comes rolling back since she got frightened when she wandered to far away to hear them anymore*

Janus: -Crouches down and pokes at Jolt's shell- And why would I do something like that?

Danari: Don't know, maybe she did something to piss you off

Jolt: *Wiggles within her shell, then lightly scratches at the inside, under where he poked it*

Janus: -Ears twitch at the sound of the scratching, pokes again- So I just decided to bite her tail off?

Danari: It's the only part you really could bite

Jolt: *Rather than scratching, a loud thunk can be heard inside the shell*

Janus: Tch, I could always try and crack her open and fry her like a chicken egg.

Danari: You could *Shrugs*

Jolt: *Sparks at Janus' words*

Danari: I don't think she liked that

Janus: -Glares and sparks right back- Then she better learn to keep her temper in check before I test the idea out.

Danari: *Walks over to comb her fingers through Janus' hair* I don't know, I thought you liked girls with tempers

Jolt: *Rolls in circles*

Janus: -Relaxes a bit at the combing- Well there is a difference when it comes to you. I find your temper entertaining and interesting, I find hers, annoying.

Danari: You found mine annoying at first too *Trails her fingers up and down his ear*

Jolt: *Has worn herself out*

Janus: -Tries to hold back a light purr- Well we'll just see if she can grow at me then.

Danari: *Smirks and continues to trail her hand back and forth along his ear* Does that mean we're keeping her

Jolt: *Fallen asleep*

Janus: -Lets his purr slip as he picks Jolt up- We? What, you want me to help take care of her?

Danari: It would be nice *Circles her finger around his spot*

Jolt: *Wiggles into Janus' warmth while continuing to sleep*

Janus: Mm, fine. -Lightly taps his fingers against Jolt's shell- Looks like you get to play Mom then.

Danari: I've done it before *Skims her finger over the spot* Can you handle playing dad?

Janus: -Holds back a shiver- Tch, I'm no Dad..

Danari: You are now *Scratches at the spot*

Janus: We'll see about that... -Leans in to the scratching and purrs-

Danari: *Smiles and continues with her attentions*

Janus: -A light growl mixes in with his purr as he reaches back to grab at Ri's hand and n** at her fingers-

Danari: *Wiggles her fingers* What was that for?

Janus: -Tail light swishes, his hair held in one hand as he ties it back and takes a seat on the living room couch-

Danari: *Lifts a hand and knocks on Janus' door while dancing in place*

Jolt: *Shooting back and forth across the room as she tries to break free from her shell*

Janus: Hm? -Finishes tying his hair back before rising from the couch and heading for the door, making sure not to trip over Jolt- What the hell are you doing now? -Shakes his head and opens up the door, a brow raising at Danari's dancing- Yeah?

Danari: *Pauses mid dance, acts as if nothing was happening* Yoh! *Grins and salutes him*

Jolt: *Growls and smacks into a wall, hard*

Danari: *Cocks her head and peers over at Jolt*

Janus: -Crosses his arm and leans against the door frame- And what are you so happy abou.. -Stops and looks back at Jolt- ...

Danari: I don't-

Jolt: *Rears back and smacks against the wall harder*

Danari: *Winces* Is she alright?

Janus: I have no idea. She was never right in the head in the first place... -Shoves off the door frame, walks over to Jolt, kneeling down to watch- What are you doing now?

Jolt: *Rears back, then one again smacks into the wall, a large crack spreading over her shell as it begins to cave in*

Danari: *Walks over to stand over Janus* Looks like she wants out

Janus: Looks like she is going to get what she wants this time around. -Reaches out to pick at some pieces of shell-

Jolt: *Growls, then one of her paws pushes through the shell*

Danari: *Ears perk, crouches down next to Janus to watch*

Janus: She even sounds angry when she gets what she wants...

Danari: She gets that from you *Smirks*

Jolt: *Pulls her paw back in, then uses her back legs to push the shell open more, sparking as she does so*

Janus: -Rolls his eyes while poking at the shell, tipping it from side to side- Yeah, and she gets her annoying side from you.

Danari: Shh, you'll offend her.

Jolt: *Shakes at the tipping, then slowly starts to push her way out of the hole in the shell*

Janus: Yeah, and how? -Watching, waiting for her little nose to stick out, flicks it-

Jolt: *Yips when her nose is flicked. Wiggles it and wobbles on her feet, squints her eyes against the new light*

Danari: Anything someone gets from me is an offense *Smiles a little as she watches Jolt* It's a Jolteon! *Can't help but let out a little squeal*

Janus: -Carefully grabs Jolt by her underbelly and looks her over while trying not to chuckle at Ri- I'm guessing that is something good for you?

Danari: Growing up I used to watch this show called Pokemon with all these powerful creatures in it, Jolteon was always one of my favorites. Just so spiky and kick a** looking.

Jolt: *Squints her eyes at Janus*

Danari: *Gets up and walks over to turn off any lights that are on to make it easier for Jolt's eyes to adjust*

Janus: Well that sounds interesting. -Raises Jolt so they are eye to eye- What are you squinting at?

Jolt: *Blinks as her eyes slowly adjust* ... *Licks at Janus' nose*

Danari: Oh it was, I should hunt down an episode or two to show you.

Janus: -Blinks then rubs his nose- You want to force me to watch some kid's cartoon?

Danari: Yep *Grins* It'll be for education

Jolt: *Looks over the room with curious eyes, then yips at Ri*

Janus: -Shrugs and holds Jolt out to Ri- What kind of education can an imaginary cartoon give me?

Danari: The creatures from that cartoon are running around this island, and they've all got powers. You go up against one, it might be good to know their weaknesses. Plus *Takes Jolt and holds her close* you are raising one

Jolt: *Sniffs at Ri and tries to get a feel for her*

Janus: Tch, -Rises to his feet- There is a difference between raising something and watching over something. Whoever said I would be raising the girl?

Danari: *Raises a brow and stares at Janus*

Jolt: *Squirms*

Danari: *Sets Jolt down*

Jolt: *Unsteadily wobbles on her feet*

Janus: What, something wrong now?

Danari: With me?

Jolt: *Once she gets used to it, she starts padding around and sniffing at the ground*

Janus: No, with what I said. -Looks down and watching Jolt explore the house-

Danari: Nope, because I already know the answer *Walks over to flop on the couch*

Jolt: *Disappears into Janus' room*

Janus: Oh? -Follows after Jolt to make sure she doesn't get in to anything she isn't suppose to get in to- And what would that be?

Danari: You are raising her, in your own way

Jolt: *Pads over to Janus' bed and sniffs at it, growling a little every now and then as she maps stuff out*

Janus: Heh, -Watches Jolt- What, something not to your liking? -Looks back at Ri- Right, what a touching thought.

Danari: I wasn't saying it to be touching, it's true

Jolt: *looks back up at Janus, yips*

Janus: And how can you be so sure of that? -Raises a brow at the yip- What is that supposed to mean?

Danari: Because I know you

Jolt: *Yips twice, then disappears under the bed*

Janus: Oh, you -know- me? -Walks over to the bed and takes a seat on it-

Danari: Mhmm *Stretches out on his couch and stares up at the ceiling*

Jolt: *Can be heard padding and exploring under Janus'. Tenses, her spiky fur going into sharp points when she spots a large spider, lets out a threatening growl*

Janus: You really so sure about that? -Bends down, lifting up the sheets and staring at Jolt- ...

Danari: Are you trying to make me doubt that?

Jolt: *Dives at the spider, only to have it shoot out from under the bed. She growls and darts after it*

Janus: No, why would you say something like that? What, you doubt me back? -Watches Jolt in amusement-

Danari: No, you just keep asking me like I'm wrong.

Jolt: *Once out in the open she leaps high in to the air, very high when compared to a normal kit, and lands on the poor Spider. Growling in a victorious manner as she squishes it*

Janus: What, I can't be curious? -Gets off the bed to go grabs Jolt to take her to the bathroom to clean off the spider gunk- Well you're a born killer...

Jolt: *Looks up at Janus in an expectant manner, like a wolf pup would look to the leader of a pack for approval*

Danari: You can *Shrugs*

Janus: Well I did, plus there is nothing to worry about, especially after what I said the other day. -Ears flick as he sets Jolt on the counter near the sink, shakes his head- Yeah, yeah, thanks for killing the spider.

Jolt: *Looks pleased as she sits there in a proud manner*

Danari: Yeah... *Smiles a little as she thinks back to it*

Janus: Give me your paw now. -Turns the water on to warm- You seemed happy about the whole thing.

Jolt: *Holds out her paw, the gooey spider remains stuck to the bottom of it*

Danari: *Wipes away her smile even though Janus isn't there to comment on it* Why wouldn't I be?

Janus: -Takes Jolt's paw and runs it under the water while using some soap to clean all the goo off- I don't know, some people are just weird like that.

Danari: I'm weird all on my own without taking on other people's weird.

Jolt: *Squirms at the feeling of the water, finding it strange as it makes her powers want to come rushing to the surface*

Janus: Nice to know. I'll remember that next time you do something weird. --Tightens his hold on the kit's paw as she squirms- Come on, just a little longer. -Rinses off Jolt's paw before turning off the water and grabbing a small towel off the rack to dry it off-

Jolt: *Wiggles her toes as the paw is dried off*

Danari: That'll probably be in the near near future

Janus: Oh, is that so? -Tosses the towel on the counter, then picks up Jolt and sets her on the floor-

Jolt: *Looks herself over, then begins to stalk out to the living room*

Danari: Probably *Shrugs* You know me

Janus: True, but that doesn't mean I can see you in the future and figure out what you are going to do.

Jolt: *Gets down on her belly and crawls across the floor*

Danari: No, but you can expect me doing something weird

Janus: I'll be on the look out for it then. -Shrugs and heads out in to the living room, blinks at Jolt- ...Okay..

Jolt: *Stops at the couch, then tenses*

Danari: *Peers over the side of the couch and stares at Jolt* I think she smacked into the wall to many times

Jolt: *Dives at Ri's tail and play bites on it before darting away*

Danari: Evil little s**t

Janus: -Smirks at Jolt's action- I think she really likes you.

Jolt: *Lurks in a shadowy corner, smirking*

Danari: I think she's spent to much time with you

Janus: Well she is living in my house. She had to pick up some something at some point.

Danari: Lets hope she doesn't pick up your part side *Smirks*

Jolt: *Sparks a little*

Janus: Tch, right. We'll see.. -Turns to Jolt- What now?

Danari: *Cocks her head while watching Jolt* I think she's just excited to be out.

Jolt: *The sparking dies down once she realizes that it's attracted attention*

Janus: Well she sure has a way of showing it...

Danari: *Sits up and pats the couch for Janus to join her* What were you like when you first discovered your powers?

Janus: -Shakes his head and takes the seat- I suppose like everyone else.

Danari: That doesn't inform me of much since I didn't come from your world

Jolt: *Darts over to leap onto Ri's lap*

Danari: *Pets the kit as she settles*

Janus: -Rolls his eyes- What do you think it is like to find out you have powers?

Danari: I don't know, I can't imagine having any. Besides me with powers is a scary thought *Frowns as the words draw up a strange feeling inside of her*

Jolt: *Wiggles around to poke at Ri's wings*

Janus: -Reaches over to flick Jolt on the head- I don't know. Wasn't much of a suprise since almost every one of my people have powers or some form of a power.

Danari: Could you control it right away?

Jolt: *Face scrunches up when her head is flicked, growls and pounces after Janus' hand*

Janus: When it first rose up, nope. Hormones get in the way of judgment. It is something that is learned and practiced. -Tries to flick at Jolt again-

Danari: *Chuckles* It's hard to picture you hormonal

Jolt: *Growls and ducks back before nipping at his finger*

Janus: Well use your imagination. -Growls and pulls at Jolt's ears-

Danari: I am *Smirks as she pictures a teenage Janus chasing after some girls*

Jolt: *Growls more and tries to pull back*

Janus: Something tells me I don't want to know what you're thinking. -Blows in to Jolt's ears- You are going to get away by fighting.

Danari: You probably don't

Jolt: *Yips in an agitated manner, her fur turning into sharp spikes*

Danari: Hey! *Shoves Jolt off her lap as one of the spikes bites into her leg*

Janus: -Lets go of Jolt's ears as she is shoved-

Jolt: *Settles next to Janus and stares at Ri while wondering if she's going to get into trouble*

Danari: Bloody ******** nut *Gets up and heads back to the bathroom to put a bandaid on the cut*

Janus: Tch -Pets Jolt- What happened to being so excited about her?

Jolt: *Rests her head on the couch and sighs*

Danari: *Calls out* I never said that I'm still not

Janus: Well you sure seemed a bit pissed at her.

Danari: It hurt! So yes, I'm a little pissed

Jolt; *Glares at the couch as if it's the couch's fault*

Janus: No need to cuss at her about it. -Looks over at Jolt- See what you did to your "Mom" now?

Jolt: *Looks up at Janus and just looks confused*

Danari: I cuss at everyone

Janus: Nice to know. -Pokes Jolt- What, can't understand?

Jolt: *Nods*

Danari: *Comes back out with a bandage over the cut ad plops back down on the couch* You didn't know already?

Janus: I did, just nice to have it all laid out. -Picks Jolt up by the neck and points to Ri's cut- That, was all you.

Danari: Should I lay out more?

Jolt: *Ears drop a little as she scowls at the cut*

Janus: If you want. I am not forcing you or anything. So -shakes Jolt a little- Got anything?

Jolt: *Yips a little as she's shaken, curls into herself and whimpers*

Danari: I'm not sure what else I could lay out *Holds out her hands for the kit*

Janus: -Hands Jolt over to Ri and shrugs- Doesn't have to be now.

Danari: *Sets Jolt on her lap and pets her* I don't think I'd know what to say another time later either. It's probably easier if you just ask

Jolt: ... *Lightly nuzzles at the cut*

Janus: Well maybe next time I might. Not one to question things though, so I doubt it.

Danari: Alright *Shifts to lean against Janus*

Jolt: *Lets out a small yawn*

Janus: ...Where the heck are we going to keep the imp?

Danari: *Smirks* She can sleep with you

Jolt: *Closes her eyes and curls up*

Janus: Tch, like hell that is going to happen. I don't want to wake up looking like a sad torn cactus.

Danari: Aww, going to make her sleep by herself?

Jolt: *Slowly drifting off*

Janus: Aww, she won't die.

Danari: You never know *Looks around* Where do you want her?

Janus: Just put her anywhere I guess. Doesn't matter.

Danari: *Stands and cradles Jolt* I'm going to stick her in your underwear drawer *Heads into Janus' room*

Janus: ...My underwear drawer? -Gets up and follows after Ri- Are you joking?

Danari: Yes *Laughs* I'm not going to scar her *Drops down to open up a lower drawer and starts flatting out the clothes in it*

Janus: Like hell. She might as well sleep somewhere else. I don't want her rolling around my clothes.

Danari: *Rolls her eyes and closes the drawer, then just lays back on the floor and rests Jolt on her stomach* There

Janus: -Rolls his own eyes- Tch, just put the brat on the bed.

Danari: *Mentally smirks before getting up again and sets Jolt on the bed*

Jolt: *Shifts in her sleep*

Janus: -Mentally grumbles to himself as he stares at the kit- You leaving or staying here for the night?

Danari: Staying *Makes herself at home on his bed, next to Jolt*

Janus: ..Well I can see that now.. -Takes his place on the bed and leans against the head board-

Danari: *Grins up at Janus* You'll have to come by my place sometime soon, see what I'm doing with my new dressers. Plus, I have a present for you

Janus: Hm, -looks over at Ri- You have a present for me?

Danari: Yep!

Janus: What kind of gift is it this time?

Danari: *Smirks* Secret

Janus: ..I don't know if I should take that smirk as a good thing or not.

Danari: That's also a secret *Rests a hand on Janus' leg* Just have to know that it's not a dead animal of some form

Janus: Right, would surprise me if it was, but I think that would be out of your range even if you are crazy at times.

Danari: I like animals to much to do that

Danari: *Despite the lateness, she's out in her yard taking a blow torch to a black metal dresser. It's starting to look much like her old one. Dragons starting to form that wrap along the corners. A different though it that unlike her last one, this has a single large dragon the top back part of the dresser. It's head is lifted to roar, and it's wing spread out like they'll be folding something soon. She fans the torch's flame over the wings to work on creating ridges, a spotlight providing the need illumination*

Janus: -Slowly and lazily makes his way down the worn path of the forest, his senses on guard incase anything decides to pop out, though his time on this island has told him that isn't likely to happen unless it is Zeke, which even then he has his doubts. Yawning slightly, he stuffs his hands in to the pockets of the dark worn jeans, his normal outfit traded in for the jeans and a simple dark blue long-sleeved shirt, and his normal dark red blindfold switched with a dark gray one. He slowly comes to a stop when he realizes the area he is in is the area Ri’s house sits, and the temperature around is slightly peaked a bit-

Jolt: *Quietly trotting behind Janus, enjoying the quiet. Comes to a stop when he does and tilts her head. Silently waits to see what's up*

Danari: *Turns off the blow torch and lifts up her protective mask. Leans close to peer at the metal* Not quite there yet... *Steps back to let it cool for a bit and slides off her scraped up thick leather gloves, sticks them in the pocket of her leather apron*

Janus: Tch, what's going on now?.. -Shaking his head, he nods in the direction of Ri's house- Come on, lets go see what that woman is up to now.. -He starts heading in the direction of the house trying to guess what could be the source of the heat in the area. His ears flick around a bit when he nears the house and stops, staring at the dresser sitting in front of the house-

Danari: *Doesn't seem to notice them as she strips off her apron. Is covered in sweat despite only wearing boxers and a tank top under the apron* Much better *Plops on her butt to tug off her clunky work boots*

Jolt: *Looks over the scene, then up at Janus as if silently asking if Ri is crazy*

Janus: -Crosses his arms and looks down at Jolt with a "Most likely, yeah" looks- You don't want to go scarring the kid for life now, do you?

Danari: What? *Whips around to stare at Janus and Jolt* When the hell did you two get here?

Jolt: *Rolls her eyes* Hello to you too

Janus: -Shrugs- Long enough to watch you strip? What the hell are you doing anyway?

Danari: I was working *Looks down at herself* And I'm not stripping. I've got undies under this stuff, just to hot for pants.

Janus: And that is the logic your "mom" works by, Jolt. -Walks over and starts looking over the dresser- Finally decided to build this thing?

Danari: Yeah, almost done to! *Tosses the boots to the side and climbs to her feet*

Jolt: So I have gathered *Trots over to examine the dresser*

Janus: -Pokes at the dragon at the top of the dresser- Almost done?

Danari: Yeah, just have to finish shaping the dragons and then get started on the next one *Walks over and picks Jolt up*

Jolt: *Yips*

Danari: I have something for you

Janus: Tch, what is it, a prison cage? Cause she needs one.

Danari: No, for you *Grins* And I could comment on that... but not in front of Jolt

Jolt: *Look confused* What?

Danari: You'll know when you get older

Janus: -Mumbles- If it is ever brought up again.. Anyway, what is it this time around?

Danari: Keep that up and I'll start thinking you don't like my gifts *Sets Jolt down to gather up her equipment*

Jolt: *Looks between the two adults and wonder what's going on*

Janus: Aw, well the sake of whatever emotions you harbor I won't say anything else. -Rolls his eyes and looks down at Jolt- What?

Jolt: ... *Shakes her head and trots after Ri*

Danari: Emotions? Hmm, not sure if I have those *Heads inside*

Janus: Then you have no reason to be bothered by what I think of your gifts. -Pushes off the dresser and follows after the two-

Danari: *Heads into her work room and dumps her equipment on a counter* Yeah, though I already know what you think

Jolt: *Looks into the work room. Scowl and then opts for the couch instead. Hops up onto it and curls up*

Janus: -Leans against the door frame of the work room and raises a brow- Oh, and what would that be?

Danari: If you didn't like them, you wouldn't have taken them *Hefts up a big box and heads back to the door, raises a brow at Janus*

Janus: -Just stares at Ri and keeps his place at the door- Yes?

Danari: Move your sexy a** or no present for you

Jolt: *Sparks and then promptly covers her ears* I'm still in the room.
Janus: Apparently that doesn't matter much. -Steps back from the door and walks over to the couch, taking a seat next to Jolt-

Jolt; *Promptly crawls into his lap while eying the box*

Danari: This is me being tame *Shrugs and the box down before starting to open it*

Janus: A silent way of saying you might as well get used to it. -Reaches down to flick the kit's nose-

Jolt: *Nips at Janus' finger*

Danari: *Pulls out an oval shaped mirror that's the color of blood. Black metal is the frame of the mirror, the upper half in the shape of a sleeping dragon, it's wings folded against its back. A village acts as the bottom half*

Janus: -Lightly pulls one of Jolt's ears when his finger is nipped. Looking over at Ri he eyes the mirror and the frame surrounding it- Running off to play an evil version of Snow White?

Danari: *Rolls her eyes* I managed to salvage some of my old dressers and rework it. During my restocking, I saw this mirror and thought of you *Shrugs* It's a thank you gift

Jolt: *Rolls onto her back and tries to grab at his hand*

Janus: -Continues to poke and prod at Jolt- For the money I leant you?

Danari: Uh huh, lets just say that

Jolt: *Lets out a growl and wriggles while trying to grab at his and n** at his finger*

Janus: If there is more to is you might as well say it. -Gets amused by Jolt and after a few more pokes just lets her have his finger-

Danari: Where's the fun in that?

Jolt: *Smirks in victory and holds the finger close while playfully nibbling at it. The nibbling subsides into licks before she releases his finger*

Janus: Who said it was ever going to be fun?

Danari: *Rolls her eyes and puts the mirror back in the box* It's yours *Heads into her room to grab some clothes*

Jolt: *Eyes the box, then looks up at Janus* Are presents a sign of appreciation?

Janus: Oh I wouldn't have guessed from the whole conversation we had. -Looks down at Jolt- Most are.

Jolt: Are they required, or are they earned?

Danari: *Comes back carrying clothes and heads right into the bathroom to take a shower*

Janus: -Watches Ri and shrugs- People say on someone's birthday, anniversary or Christmas a gift is required, but that is a load of bull. If they don't want to give you anything then they don't have to. But most gifts are earned by doing something for someone.

Jolt: Oh *Files all of this away* Is that anything else that I should know?

Janus: Like what?

Jolt: I do not know *Looks back down at the box* Can it be used to get something you want?

Janus: Is someone planning to manipulate someone for something?

Jolt: I only wish to understand the concept *Tilts her head* How can you know if someone is giving you something with good intention? How do you know that Danari is not giving you a gift to get something from you?

Janus: -Shrugs- You may never know. You just go with what you know and if you trust the person. If you trust them and did something to earn it, then fine. If you don't and they are being oddly nice, then -shrugs- I don't know what she wants, but I know she isn't going to try and kill me

Jolt: So you trust her?

Janus: Would I be hanging around her if I didn't?

Jolt: You wouldn't. Do you trust me?

Janus: Why do you want to know?

Jolt: I am curious

Janus: I suppose I do since I am letting you stay with me.

Jolt: Alright *Flicks an ear when Ri comes back out*

Danari: *Wearing a long PJ shirt and some shorts, drying her hair with a towel*

Janus: Well welcome back.

Jolt: *Rolls her eyes*

Danari: *Shrugs and sits on the am rest* You two bonding?

Janus: Well I haven't killed the kid, so that is a good sign.

Danari: Yeah yeah *Waves a hand in the air* Jolt, why don't you go find a blanket and pillow?

Jolt: *Stares at Ri oddly, then shakes her head and hops off Janus' lap to head into Ri's room*

Janus: -Stares after Jolt before turning to Ri- And what is that about?

Danari: *Shrugs* I wanted get a couple minutes alone with you. How have you been doing?

Janus: ...Right -Leans back against the couch and stares at the ceiling- I'm fine.

Danari: That's good. How's it been going with Jolt?

Janus: Still the same, except now she can talk and thinks she can take on others.

Danari: *Snickers* A mini warrior

Janus: And why is that so funny?

Danari: *Shakes her head before sliding over to plop in his lap* She's just taking after you

Janus: -Raises a brow when Ri takes a seat in his lap, but doesn't say anything since he doesn't mind- This isn't going to be about the whole "she is trying to impress me" thing, is it?

Danari: No. I don't like repeating myself *Leans against Janus and softly purrs since she's kind of missed the physical contact but will never admit it*

Janus: Well don't I feel lucky. -Mentally rolls his eyes and wraps an arm around Danari when she leans against him- You ever going to tell me the real reason for the mirror?

Danari: It's just a thanks, for putting up with me

Janus: Tch, for putting up with you, huh?

Danari: Yeah *Grins* Me and my pain in the a** self

Janus: Well luckily I like your pain in the a** self.

Danari: Lucky for me *Leans up to kiss him, then pauses and looks over as Jolt comes back out dragging a pillow with a blanket resting on it*

Janus: -Mentally growls in agitation when Jolt appears, sighs- Thought you might have drowned under the blanket or something.

Danari: *Snorts*

Jolt: *Looks over at Ri and Jan, blinks since she's never seem them like that.* ... *Can't help but feel a little awkward* I apologize?

Janus: Why don't you tell her why she had to bring over the blanket and pillow? Can't leave her standing there.

Danari: A bed, though I didn't mean for her to bring it out here. Unless she wants to sleep out here?

Jolt: *Shrugs since she doesn't care as long as she gets sleep*

Janus: She brought it out here, she might as well sleep out here.

Danari: *Raises a brow at Janus, but swallows her comment and then climbs off his lap to go over and pick the kit up* Where should we set you up then?

Jolt: *Scowls at being picked up* Somewhere warm

Janus: -Ears flick as he thinks about hell and the furnace in the work room- I don't think she likes being picked up like that.

Danari: She probably doesn't like that because it reminds her feel small

Jolt: *Growls*

Danari: *Thinks* ... Oh! *Walks over and plops Jolt in Janus' lap before going over to pull on the snd couch*

Janus: -Blinks as Jolt is put in his lap, raises a brow at Ri- What are you doing now?

Danari: There's a heat vent behind the couch *Stops pulling when it's revealed. Goes over to grab Jolt's pillow and sets it by the heat vent* There

Janus: -Nudges Jolt and nods over to the spot- Go on now, check it out.

Jolt: *Climbs off Janus' lap and trots over to curl up on the pillow*

Danari: *Covers Jolt with the blanket*

Jolt: *Waits about a minute to answer* It is good

Janus: Are you going to stay there all night or are you going to get scared and run off to find one of us?

Jolt: *Glowers at Janus* I can take care of myself *Curls up and closes her eyes*

Danari: *Raises a brow* Touchy

Janus: -Shrugs- It shouldn't be surprising since she spends so much time with us.

Danari: I guess that's true *Holds her hand out to Janus*

Janus: Going to drag me off somewhere?

Danari: Yep *Grins* I'd offer a further response but there's a child present

Jolt: *Rolls her eyes*

Janus: -Smirks and shakes as he reaches out to take Ri's hand- Then drag away then.

Danari: *Laughs before essentially dragging him to her room, flicking off the living room lights as they go and then closing the bedroom door* She doesn't have nightmares or anything, right?

Janus: -Shakes his head as he walks over and takes a seat on the bed- Nope, not from what I can tell. She'll be fine sleeping out there on her own.

Danari: *Walks over and sits beside Janus, smirks* Spoken like a father

Janus: -Rolls his eyes at the comment and smirk- I'm not the girl's father.

Danari: What are you then?

Janus: More like a babysitter for the girl.

Danari: Mmhmm *Pats his cheek* You keep saying that, maybe one day I'll believe you

Janus: -Scuffs at the pat- And why won't you believe me now?

Danari: Because I've seen how you are with her

Janus: -Leans back on the bed, his arms crosses behind his head- How I act around her? What about it?

Danari: Nope. Just know you *Flicks her tail while staring down at him*

Danari: Yes because I'm just known for announcing my love *Slides over so she's sitting on him and straddling his waist*

Janus: And I said you can think what you want, so go on thinking that.

Danari: I usually do *Cocks her head* Just as I'll go on thinking that you were disappointed that I didn't kiss you earlier

Janus: -Ears flick at the comment- Oh, and the opposite can be said about you then?

Janus: -Rolls his eyes- Are we going to kiss or are we going to sit here talking about kissing all night?

Danari: *Blinks in surprise, then chuckles before leaning down kiss him*

Janus: -Leans in to the kiss while reaching up to press on the back of Ri's head to get her to lean in more-

Danari: *Slides her hands to his chest and fists them in his shirt as she leans down more and presses into the kiss*

Janus: -Purrs lightly, his hands sliding to her hips to lightly stroke her side as he nips and bites at her bottom lip-

Danari: *Chest rumbles with a deep purr as she nips and bites right back, then parts her lips in an invitation for a fight over dominance*

Janus: -Growls and pulls Ri closer, his tongue slipping in to her mouth and entwining with her tongue in an attempt to pin it. His claw like nails lightly run down along Ri's side, his growl growing a bit louder-

Danari: *Shivers, her purr upping in pitch before going back to normal as she fights against being pinned. Tries to press even closer as her tail wraps around one of his upper thighs*

Janus: -Pulls a hand back and runs the claw of his thumb against the front of her throat. He presses closer in the kiss, his growl dying to a purr as the two continue to fight for dominance and both unwilling to give in at the moment-

Danari: *Lets out a low moan before finally giving in and letting Janus have dominance, her hands unfisting and laying flat against his chest*

Janus: -Smirks in to the kiss, his ears flicking at the moan. He pulls back to catch his breath, his finger still running along her throat before pulling back-

Danari: *Licks her lips before clearing her throat and sitting up. Says in a joking manner* I knew there was a reason I missed having you around

Janus: Right. Nice to know if I am not missed for my "charming" personality I am missed for my kissing.

Danari: *Laughs and rubs his chest in an appreciative manner* You're a damn good kisser, but that's not what I was talking about. I was talking about the whole war for dominance, I like having it with you

Janus: Oh, and why is that, if you don't mind going in detail about it?

Danari: *Shrugs* I like a good fight of any kind. Plus when I lose to you *Grins* it's like I'm winning

Janus: The only way to lose in a kiss to to kiss a bad kisser, or have you tongue bitten right off, which luckily neither of us are or do.

Danari: *Rolls her eyes* I meant losing the war for dominance *Pokes his cheek*

Janus: I know.-Swipes at Ri's finger and rolls his eyes- But like I was trying to say, no need to fighting for something that isn't worth it. So if you have a bad kisser, no use in bothering with the war, not worth your time.

Danari: *Snorts and stares down at Janus. Expression turns thoughtful* Though, I guess for being able to rope a guy like you, I should have a bit of an ego

Danari: *Curls against him, her tail wrapping around his upper thigh as she softly purrs*

Janus: -Walks along the path back to his place once the wedding is all over and done with. He has one hand stuffed in the pocket of his pants, the other running through his hair as he mumbles over his brother dragging him to the wedding-

Danari: *Attempting to stalk Janus, though she has a feeling that he knows that she's tailing him*

Janus: -Is currently to lost in his self rant about his brother to really pay much mind as to who or what is around him at the time. Sighing, his stuffs his other hand in his pocket and continues back to his place, his mind wondering what Jolt could have done to the house-

Danari: *Is amazed that hasn't been called out yet. Fiddles with her scarf before quietly walking closer*

Janus: -Slowly crawls to a stop, his ears flicking when he finally realizes someone else is around, Grunts- What the hell are you doing out here?

Danari: Staring at your a**, what else would I be doing? *Slips out of hiding*

Janus: Tch, I think you have had enough staring for one day, so really, what the hell are you doing following me around like a stalker?

Danari: *Walks up to Janus, her arms crossed behind her back* The real question is why wouldn't I follow you around like a stalker.

Janus: -Rolls his eyes as he continues on to his place- Don't know. I would think after that remark you made earlier today you would have had your fun for the day.

Janus: -Stops and stares when his sleeve is pulled- What?

Janus: -Lightly licks at Ri's lips before she pulls back- Sure it's nothing?

Danari: *Rubs his arm* Yeah, it's nothing to worry about *Smirks up at him* Though I'm flattered by your concern

Janus: Tch, I guess you should be since it is not a normal thing.

Danari: *Lifts a hand to stroke his cheek* It seems to be for me.

Janus: Oh? -Grabs Ri's hand- And why do you say that?

Danari: Because you're always the first to help me when I need it

Janus: Maybe cause I al always around when you bring it up.

Danari: *Shakes her head* If I fell and broke a leg and called for help, you'd be the first to show up

Danari; I know so *Slides her ams up to wrap around his neck*

Janus: -Leans down a bit when her arm slides around his neck- Are a 100% sure of that?

Danari: Yep. *Strokes the back of his neck*

Janus: Fine then, next time something happens, then we'll see.

Danari: Guess we will *Steps back while pulling her arms back*

Janus: And what will you do if you are wrong?

Danari: *Shrugs* Move on with my life

Janus: -Shrugs and starts walking off again seeing that his house is near by- Then there is no lose in either possibility.

Danari: There is, you just can't see it

Janus: -waves a hand around- Oh, then be the light and open my pitiful eyes.

Janus: Whatever you say. -Shrugs and opens the door the house once they reach his place. Looks around to see if Jolt did anything while he was gone-

Jolt: *Lays in wait, watching for the opportune moment to pounce. Other than a pillow knocked off the couch, everything seems to be in tact*

Janus: -Looks around for any sign of the kit as he walks over to the couch and throws the pillow back on to it-

Jolt: *Darts out of hiding to pounce at Janus's feet, then dart back into hiding.*

Danari: *Leans in the doorway, snerks.*

Janus: -Just stands there watching Jolt, mumbles- Should have know she hadn't grown out of that yet..

Danari: That's what you get for letting her watch stuff like that *Points at Jaws playing on the TV*

Jolt: *Darts out of hiding to stare at the TV as Jaws attacks someone. Stares with complete fascination*

Janus: -Rolls his eyes and shakes his head. Takes the remote and turns the tv off, tossing the remote on the couch- Yeah, and the next thing we know she is running down beaches trying to terrorize others and the seagulls.

Jolt: *Ears droop slightly as he movie is turn off. Glowers up at Janus before darting back into hiding*

Danari: *Still leaning in the doorway* We could always use less seagulls in the world.

Janus: -Scuffs at Jolt before heading to his bedroom to change- Then take her to the beach and put her to some good use.

Danari: *Stares after Janus before finally coming into the house and closing the door behind her* Changing already?

Jolt: *Sneaks over to manually turn the TV on and go back to her movie*

Janus: -Takes a seat on the bed and starts untying his shoes- Why, you find something against it?

Danari: I might *Looks over at the movie before heading to lean against his door way*

Janus: -Tosses the shoes on the floor, looks over at Ri with a raised brow- Alright then, amuse me with a reason.

Danari: *Shrugs* It just looks good on you. And for a whole year, I'm not going to get you see in something like that again. Plus, it's fun to see you celebrating the holiday.

Janus: Celebrate? More like dragged in to it.

Danari: *Walks over to plop down next to him on the bed* How did your brother manage to get you to that wedding?

Janus: Why is it any of your business?

Janus: -Flops back on the bed, his arms crossed behind his head- It's not anything that isn't normal. He just nagged me about it until I got annoyed and snapped.

Danari: I'm surprised you didn't just go into hiding.

Janus: No point if he will just end up finding me.

Danari: He could only search for you for so long or else he'd risk missing the wedding myself

Janus: Then I'd have to deal with the aftermath of missing it with more nagging.

Danari: It'd be unnatural *Lifts a hand to take off her hat and toss it onto the floor*

Danari: *Closes her eyes while resting against him* Good

Jolt: *Peeks in to see what's going on, her movie having ended*

Janus: -Yawns, his hand moving to rub Ri's back. He blinks and looks over at the door when he feels someone watching- ...

Danari; *Purrs under the rubbing as she relaxes*

Jolt: *Worldlessly walks over and hops up onto the bed. Picks a spot to curl up on*

Janus: -Closes his eyes once Jolt is in bed and continues moving his hand across Ri's back-

Danari: *Nuzzles at his chest before slowly drifting off to sleep while continuing to purr*

Jolt: *Starts to drift off herself*

Janus: -Sits on one of the couches, eyes closed as he tries not to move around too much at the moment. His right hand is bandaged up from the bite wound, along with his chest/torso area to keep the gauzes and such in place along his shoulder and back where he got clawed the first time around-

Danari: *Yawns as she comes out of her room in a large pajama shirt and some boxer shorts* How are your wounds doing?

Jolt: *Curled up on the same couch as Janus, lightly dozing*

Janus: -Opens an eye and resists shrugging since that would most likely be a bad idea at the moment- They're fine. It's nothing that won't pass.

Danari: *Walks over and lightly tugs on one of his ears before massaging his spot with her thumb* You need anything?

Janus: -Grunts and lets out a low growl at the tug, but soon that vanishes once he starts to relax a bit- Besides to go out and kill that thing when I get the chance, I think I'm good.

Danari: *Continues with her attention while sitting on the table in front of him* Does that mean you're planning on going after it?

Jolt: *Lets out a yawn before curling into a tighter ball*

Janus: -Points down at the yellow ball of spikes on the couch- If she attracts it again I won't have much of a choice either way.

Danari: *Slides her hands down to frame his face.* Yeah well, just make sure you don't get your a** fried or anything. I'm very attached to it.

Janus: -Rolls his eyes while holding in a snort- Oh, right, I can just see you mourning its loss...

Danari: Oh I'd weep rivers and never be able to live again *Strokes a thumb over his cheek*

Janus: Tch -Turns his face slightly a nips at Ri's thumb- Don't go and become all depressed and suicidal now. My a** isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Danari: *Flicks her tail while biting back a smirk, runs her thumb over his bottom lip* Don't worry about that, I have faith in my favorite asswipe.

Jolt: *Twitches in her sleep*

Janus: Such an honor. -Nips at the thumb again- I get the be the favorite and have your faith. It's all so overwhelming. -Looks at the twitching Jolt.

Danari: I'll bet it is *Pulls back and looks over at the sleeping Jolt* Think she's having a nightmare?

Jolt: *Twitches again before attempting to burrow into the couch*

Janus: Don't know, maybe. -Reaches out to lightly shakes the kit awake-

Jolt: *Tenses before blinking open her eyes. Yawns and lifts a paw to rub at her eyes*

Danari: *Cocks her head* Welcome back to the world of the living sparky
Janus: -Crosses his arms and leans back against the couch- What the hell was all the twitching about?

Jolt: *Mumbles sleepily* Nothing

Danari: Mhmm *Reaches over and picks the kit up, settles Jolt in her lap*

Janus: Like hell it's nothing..

Jolt: I dreamed that he was here

Danari: *Pets the kit to soothe her* Now now, there's no one here... besides us

Janus: -Mumbles to himself as he closes his eyes again- That this is probably curled up hiding somewhere anyway.

Danari: Probably licking his wounds.

Jolt: *Nods but still looks uneasy. Hops off Ri's lap to pad into the bathroom*

Danari: With how she acts, it's sometimes easy to forget that she's just a baby

Janus: -Watches Jolt walk off- And whose fault would that be?

Danari: *Raises a brow* I don't think her being a baby is really anyone's fault. Unless one of us is denying her the needed nutrients to grow.

Janus: -Rolls his eyes- Not that. ..So slow. I mean her attitude. You're the one saying she doesn't act her age.

Danari: Ohh. Her attitude would probably be your fault.
Janus: My fault? Just cause she stays with me doesn't mean it is my fault.

Danari: She acts like you.

Janus: No she doesn't..

Danari: *Snorts* She acts more like you than me
Janus: Alright then. -Opens his eyes again and stares at Ri- Give me some examples.

Danari: *Lists them off on her finger* She's level headed, hostile without being loud and obnoxious, always glaring, she stalks, etc.
Janus: You calling her an a** then?
