So I've been trying to brainstorm... what are the ways a dragon could die? Prematurely, I mean.
Since thread's not falling, between isn't an option. Unless it was a directionally challenged weyrling or something.
Then there's the overlapping mating flight fights... and I can't really come up with another. Are there even any? >>
And aaaalso... on a related note, how taboo is it to play an ex-rider? They'd be on to another profession in their life, of course, not just sulking around for the next few decades.
I'm not even really sure I want to subject a character to that, though, so if it's discouraged already...
