Hi I'm Harrigan, Age 17 and live in England.
I am not new when it comes to the subject of paganism and magick despite my age and nor do i act like a silly teenager with it. I have recently found myself a teacher who has brought me under his wing even though i am not 18 yet because of this and other factors.
I am following something similar to Asatru/Vanatru path which is more like Shamanism then many of these forms of the new path called Wicca. I do not know much about chaos magick followers which there seems to be a abundance of here but i think my paths belief that we can do what we want even if its harming someone is similar? I am pretty adept at meditation and energy work. The first thing my teacher got me to try was to spread my mind out over the woodland we was in and to sense which direction certain things were in such as objects and people to which i was always dead on the nail.
I Believe that magick is a tool and that it is not colored. There is no Black or White magic, Its all about how you use it. So if you want to use what you call black magic then if thats what you want then go for it. However magick is not to be taken lightly and there can be negative effects if you do something you are not ready for.
I am what you could call a natural witch, it runs in the family but not everyone. Think of it like a gene. It may not be prominent in one child but it could be in a grandchild and so on. I have come across several powerful people who have told me i have great potential. I have a gift with divination and intuition, which probably stems from my dreams. I can remember every dream i have in detail and am fully conscious when i have them.
My teacher says i have the same natural gift as him which is something i can not spell but is about being able to sense things, which is why the first thing he got me to try was the spreading my mind out and sensing the directions. When i get deja vu it is a interesting thing since i then know what exactly is going to happen or be said and such for a little while. Thankfully this has helped me because without it i would have been badly injured quite a few times. I have yet to find if this is due to the sensing or having dreams that i can't remember until it happens.
I do not believe in Elitism but i do agree that some people have more natural ability then others and anyone who works hard can achieve.
I since a small child have had many unusual experiences to do with the supernatural and not. Many people will never experience what i have and i hope that they never have to go through them. You could say that because of those it has made me instead of broken me. Instead of shutting down the part of ourselves that makes us able to connect with spirits and the magick of this world i decided to learn and get stronger so that i will not become a victim like i was back then.
I could probably write on for days about my experiences, about me and my past family but i think i have already written to much. So if you want to know more feel free to PM me. Sorry for the length of this and also if it is a bit hard to believe for some people. I am used to people not believing me because of it being a bit to unusual or more hardcore then the average person who gets into this stuff.
