With the first part of his training he was given the rest of the day off to relax and reflect. For the first hour that was great he was able to bath and eat some food which was weird but tastied great oddly enough. He felt good there it wasn't home but it was somewhere he was able to push himself without stopping. Laying down he wonder what was Kairi doing back home. The sun was still setting but he wanted to start early so that when it was time to start back up he would already be up and ready.

While Taichi's clone was in the Mist he decided to put his Sage training on hold to develop his Ninjutsu. "There isn't enough time left to finish Sage training" he thought building up his chakra into his body. It had been awhile since he used ninjutsu that he didn't know what skill he needed to train the most so he disided to go all out with Katon. With the Katon scroll he had from his last time in the Mist still on him he began to read until he found Katon: Neshou Bunshin (Fire Release: Burning Clone). Taichi had alot of experience in clone jutsu since he learned them early on in his career as a ninja so it was only a matter of time before he began learning more cloning techniques.

Cloning techniques were all the same no matter what element it was or how many different ways to do it. All that was needed was alot of chakra and the focus and discipline to proform them. Taking a few steps back he took in a few breaths and molded the chakra around him into fire based chakra. Since the air around him was very dry and warm it was easier to draw the heat to create the flames. Suddenly the flames were beginning to swirl around beginning to create the clone. Taichi had seen this many times and thought it possible to curve the flames to form his image. In a matter of seconds Taichi was standing face to face with a real clone of himslef

For the while Taichi was there he had learned alot but he was far from completing his goal of sage mode. The days were going by so quickly and he had to finish his training before the mission began so he changed his plans in learning a very strong ninjutsu. Taichi had some knowlege of the jutsu since he had learn the previous stages of it which made it easier to continue on.

Taichi began molding his chakra throughout his body causing it to heat up. The heat from his body began to seep out heating up the area. Pulling it back in he moved a small amount into the tip of his index finger. Katon: Ichi he thought to himself looking at his finger tips. This was the first stage in the jutsu that would help him grow as a ninja.

For awhile Taichi moved the heat from the tip of one finger to the other without any effort. For him this was a simpler way of gaining chakra control which in the long run would help him out. Making sure that all the shifting was equal Taichi molded more chakra into his index finger. From there he distributed it from his index to the middle finger. With this he would be able to make quick jabs making it more combat style.

With the time going by he was at the third step of the technique. Katon: San was new to him but the steps into learning it but adding the two previous steps together. Holding both of his hands out in front of him he began to distribute his chakra into both hands. Making sure that both hands were given the equal amount he began molding it causing the heat to flow on the tips of his index and middle finger for both hands.

Taich looked at both hands as he lifted them in front of him. Katon: San he thought looking at them. Now for step for, he thought as he let the chakra from one hand to the other. This took the hear from one hand and placed it all into one hand causing his index finger and middle finger to be stronger and hotter. With all the heat and intensity within one hand he was able to cause more damage with his jabs.

Everything was coming together and finally he was nearing of this training for the mission. Taichi did a lot of hand signs and watched as his hand began to burn. Suddenly it burst into flames, which reminded him of chidori but with flames. Here, unlike the techniques leading up to this, flames now spring forth from his entire hand. Taichi keeped it going long enough to feel the burn before closing his fist and ending the jutsu.

Now the final test was upon him. The test that would make him one of the few to show a fabled level of mastery. The jutsu was Moushou Kaseiken , a move advanced and complex technique to learn that is would take a tremendous amount of chakra to use. Taichi knew his limits and he knew what it took to learn this jutsu which is why it was his last resort jutsu. Going from hand sign to hand sigh he could start to feel the effects of the jutsu beginning to begin. In a matter of seconds the flames wrapped around his arm, than quickly spread throughout his entire body. With this massive amount of power he decided to test his strengths out in the wild. Moving to a safe and open area he put his power to the test by punching the ground causing a huge deadly explosion that could be seen for miles and miles long the rain forest. As all of the dust settled Taichi was normal again and completely drained of energy causing him to pass out inside a huge crater he created.

Taichi didn't want to leave this land. In his mind he figured that if he were to leave now then everything he is working for was for nothing. Walkiing back to the Elder Salamander's home he walked deep into the cave until seeing the large salamander. "I am ready to continue my Sage Training" he told the Elder. Directing his eyes over towards Taichi, the Elder have him a stail expression. "So you are finally done with your childish training and now ready to continue with our session" the Salamander asked giving him a huge grine. Taichi nodded in response and bowed showing respect to the Elder. Moving his tail over he signaled for Taichi to climb up. Without any hesitation Taichi leaped on board and the Salamander whisked them away to an area fitting the 2nd stage of training.

As they arrived there were no words shared between the two, as if everything was already understood. Jumping on top of one of the rocks Taichi created 3 clones whic circled him on the larges rock on the river. Sitting completely still it was now time to learn to control natural energy without the use of the oil. This meant Taich would need a more deeper amount of concentration than before to not only mantain it but to stop from turning into a a salamander. It was not until he remembered the feeling of how it was with the oil that he was able to begin the next stages in his training. From almost an hour Taichi and his clones were fighting the transformation. Fixing the balance of energy, but with failed results causeing the salamander to wack them. "Focus Taich! Even though its a little you must not move at all." I knew it was going to be hard without the oil but this is morre than what i was expectiong." Taichi said. "Oh course it is!!" the Saqlamander snapped, "Don't expect it'll be so easy when you don't use the oil! But since you seem to have problems this way follow me. "

Taichi returned to the sage lands after his departure over a year ago. Much had changed while staying the same. He walked in the world inhabited by the salamanders as one of them. His bond with him did not change over the year as his desire to perfect the art of sage mode still burned within him. The only thing in his way now was mastering the art without using oil. But he wouldn't be able to do this alone he would need the help of the elder Salamander. Taichi remembered where his hut was but for some odd reason he had the urge to head to the grass plain. This was weird seeing as how he'd never been to this place he knew exactly how to reach it with little to no effort. As he entered the area he could see the Elder Salamander waiting for him in the distance. Slowly taking his way towards him Taichi looked him square in the eyes and gave him a nod. Once he reach the Salamander he dropped down onto one knee. "I understand now. You are the Teacher and I am the student" he said in acknowledgement to the elder salamander "In the last year I rose into power but was unable to maintain any sense of stability. I've lost good friends" The Salamander looked at him with its cold eyes emotionless. He could see that the life lessons were something the now man had to experience for himself. "You chose the life of a ninja. Some people who inspire to become ninja, never take in that in order to create peace, blood most be shed. People will die and there is no way around it, but it's how you handle it that is the important part"

Taichi rose back up "That's enough" he calmly expressed. He was fed up with feeling, it's all he ever did. He just wanted to improve himself Inside and out this was the first step in doing that. The Elder under stood that. In one swift movement he flicked three drops of sage oil on Taichi. "Do not move" he demanded, Remember your training and let the oil guide you back to where you left off. Taichi would have reacted to the fling if the Elder did not tell him not to move. So he didn't. Frozen Taichi stood with idle with his eyes closed. Initially he felt nothing, but then a familiar sense began to connect with him. The natural energy came over him again and he was once again ready to finish his train.

Once the sage oil evaporated Taichi immediately did his cloneing jutsu and began his training once again. The main goal was not moving at all. Not a single noticeable or unnoticeable shake could happen. Though this was a problem he had during his early training he would have to try and find his way to complete tranquility. For in order to go into sage mode once must be absent from movement to draw in the natural energy around them. But he couldn't. His body was still so active that most of the movement within him was from returning to his normal life with no break or rest. He had to try and remember how to stop his movements as he did before or all this work he is doing would be meaningless efforts.

There was no pond to draw from, only himself and nature. Giving it another try things seem to slightly improve but it was still not enough. Sure improvement was always good but he was still very far from the end result. Sitting there with his eye closed he began let his mind replay how the salamander oil worked in the first place. It was a crutch. Training wheels that allowed him to see the ways of working the natural energy in. Once he felt the connection that drew the natural engery he just needed to learn how to find it again, but in the darkness he left lost and every time he unexpectedly moved he was pushed out of the darkness and had to travel back in order to find the true light that was natural chakra.

As Taichi continued on his endeavor to conqure the art of drawing natural chakra without using oil the difference as insignifficant as it might have been between the time it took before he began to turn and now as increased reassuring him that he was in fact making progress, but he was never happy. Well, he wouldn't be until he completed this. There harder he focused it seemed like it only helped a little, maybe it was because he was working his body up to the perfect state of calm and focus when nothing would shake him. There were no longer attempts of tried anymore. Taichi expected that every time he would focus he would see results. 5 seconds, 20 seconds, no matter what the differents in increase was after each time it only told him one thing. Time is pushing him to completion. So he would forget about time and let it push instead of him watchign and observing it as if it will cause it to move faster. If anything this would help his focus because it would be one less thing on his mind.
