Manda appeared in the special land of snakes with Zephiroth in his mouth. He opened it and Zephiroth jumped out of it. He looks around and notes the special grounds. "So....this is where the sages of the snakes previous to me have trained in the arts of snake sages?" Manda coiled besides him and nods. "YES....ONE CANNOT BE A TRUE SAGE UNLESS THEY LEARN TO GATHER NATURAL CHAKRA AND UTALIZE IT" Zephiroth looked at him. "Natural chakra? Is that something stronger than normal chakra?" "YES YOU FOOL! IT PERMITS YOU TO USE TECHNIQUES YOU OTHERWISE COULD NEVER USE MUCH LESS LEARN!" Zephiroth nods and looks around, seeing black substence in a bowl like container. Manda sees it and spoke "YOU ARE TO LEARN TO USE THAT OIL TO GATHER NATURAL CHAKRA, IF YOU DISTURB THE BALANCE YOU DIE LIKE THOSE FOOLS OVER THERE. NOW TAKE THE OIL AND COVER YOURSELF AND FOCUS!" Zephiroth nods and takes the oil, covering himself with it

"GOOD, NOW STAY STILL, RELAX AND CLEAR YOUR MIND" Manda said and Zephiroth nods and stood still. The wind blew around him and he didn't budge. Manda nods and proceeds. "GOOD, NOW I WANT YOU TO CONCENTRATE AND GATHER THE NATURAL CHAKRA AROUND YOU, LIKE THE POOLS OF WATER. DO THAT WHILE REMAINING STILL" Zephiroth looked at him and closed his eyes as a way to help concentrate. As he started to do this Manda watched him carefully. "Manda....are there techniques you can learn in sage mode?" Zephiroth asked, still keeping still but was curious. Manda hesitated for a moment, thinking over some things and then answers him

"YES, THERE ARE PLENTY OF JUTSU FOR YOU TO LEARN AND MASTER. BUT YOU CANNOT DO THAT AT ALL IF YOU CANNOT MAINTAIN AND CONTROL SAGE MODE!!! SO DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT UNTIL YOU CAN LEARN TO GATHER NATURAL CHAKRA WITH THE OIL" He yelled and Zephiroth smirked slightly. Manda looked up and smirked, he dragged a huge slab onto a pillar which tip was a point like a thumb tack. "What is that for Manda?" Zephiroth asked, as he started feeling the natural chakra fill him and surround him. "DONT WORRY ABOUT IT, YOU'LL KNOW ONCE YOU CAN GATHER NATURAL CHAKRA WITHOUT OIL" He sneered

Zephiroth eyed it and wondered what he meant by that, but from what he now knew that it had something to do with his training. He was still still as ever. The chakra was growing around him, showing the signs that he was gathering the natural chakra correctly. He smirked and Manda nods. "YOUR ALMOST DONE IT SEEMS. KEEP DOING THAT AND YOU WILL HAVE IT MASTERED. THEN WE CAN FINALLY MOVE ON" He growled as Zephiroth nodded to him remaining focused

Zephiroth stood there minutes later still the same. Now with the oil the natural chakra was coming to him like it was second nature. Manda noted this and smirked. "YOU HAVE BEEN DOING GOOD SO FAR, ALOT OF PEOPLE GET KILLED AROUND HERE. YOUR SOMETHING SPECIAL, BUT DON'T LET THAT GET TO YOUR HEAD, THERES STILL A LONG WAY TO GO BEFORE YOU TRUELY MASTER THIS YOU KNOW THAT RIGHT?" Zephiroth looked at him in one corner of his eye. "Yes, I'm well aware of that." He said as he rubbed off the oil with the special water that was nearby

"OK, THE NEXT STAGE IS TO GATHER THE NATURAL CHAKRA AROUND YOU WITHOUT THE HELP OF THE OIL, IT WOULD BE RATHER SILLY IF YOU WERE TO HAVE IT ON YOU AND YOU BATTLE THAT WAY, AND I WOULD BE ASHAMED TO HAVE YOU AS OUR MASTER" He said, sneering but same time serious. Zephiroth laughed somewhat. "I would be ashamed of myself if that what it came to, but it won't happen so neither of us will have to worry at all Manda" He said as he stood there and started focusing in the peace of nature. He started to draw on the chakra

"HOLD IT BOY, YOU REALLY THINK ITS THAT EASY? ITS FAR HARDER, YOU TRUELY HAVE TO MAINTAIN ABSOLUTE PERFECT BALANCE OTHERWISE YOU WILL DIE TRYING THIS, SO GET ON TOP OF THAT SLAB OF ROCK I PLACED UP THERE AND SIT INDIAN STYLE ON IT, STAY PERECTLY BALANCED. THEN TRY GATHERING THE CHAKRA, YOU'LL BE AT PEACE UP THERE AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO FOCUS, I KNOW THIS BECAUSE THAT SLAB WONT MOVE...." Manda yelled and Zephiroth looked up at it. He leaps up on top and sits, the slab wobbled for a moment. Zephiroth sat there and focused and adjusted himself a bit and sat still, slowly the slab stayed in place

Manda watched him and started to relax himself, leaving the peace unbroken and undisturbed. Zephiroth sat there breathing easy ands slowly started to draw on the natural chakra, which he found alittle harder then it was previously. He didn't show the slight difficulty and continued focusing and concentration. Slowly and faintly he started to feel the flow of the natural chakra. Manda could feel the slow increase of the chakra but made no comment or noise.

Zephiroth started to feel the flow of the natural chakra in him grow. He was starting to go insane with excitement but he didn't let it go to his head, he continue sitting there perfectly still, regardless of the fact that around him was nothing but a 100 foot drop. Manda was surprised at how still he was, the slab didn't even rock slightly in the wind. Zephiroth suddenly felt his body slightly begin to change with the natural chakra surging around him

A bright flash of light and Zephiroth stood on the slab, it still not moving. Zephiroth's eyes were snake like, his nose was snake like. His skin was slick like a snakes skin and his body was far more flexible. He looked down at Manda, who just simply stared at him. "IT LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THE SAGE MODE....BUT YOUR TRAINING IS YET OVER, NOW YOU MUST PRACTICE BEING IN SAGE MODE AND MAINTAIN IT. ARE YOU PREPARED?" Zephiroth leaped off and landed by him. "More then ever, lets do this..."

Manda slithered over to him. "NOW, THE NEXT PHASE IS TO LEARN TO FU-" Suddnely a loud hissing noise echoed throughout the land and Manda shyed away alittle as a even bigger snake came by, looked alot older then Manda. "ENOUGH MANDA! I WILL TAKE IT FROM HERE....YOUNG ONE YOU HAVE PASSED THE LAST TWO TASKS, BUT IF WE WOULD EVER WORK TOGETHER SUCCESSFULLY YOU MUST LEARN TO FUSE WITH ME. NOW FIRST FOCUS ON YOUR CHAKRA" Zephiroth nods, respecting the great snake by bowing to him and then starts focusing on his chakra

Zephiroth began focusing and heightening his chakra and then the elder spoke again. "TRY SYNCRONIZING YOUR CHAKRA WITH MINE. ONCE WE ARE EVEN WE CAN FUSE TOGETHER. ONCE WE DO THAT WE CAN USE UNIQUE TECHNIQUE.....IM SURE SEVERAL OF THEM WILL BE RATHER INTERESTING FOR SOMEONE OF YOUR TASTE" Zephiroth thought for a moment and nods. He places a hand onthe elder and focused on his chakra, trying to syncronize with the elder's great chakra. The elder's chakra was rather much greater than most animals, greater then Manda's even. After several appempts their chakra was finally equal. Suddenly the elder was gone, and his head was part of his shoulder. "EXCELLENT....NOW WE ARE GOING TO WORK ON A JUTSU, THIS IS A WAY TO SEE IF YOU CAN MAINTAIN THIS FORM"

Zephiroth nods and Manda brings over a scroll. Zephiroth opens it and the Elder thanks him. "I WANT YOU TO START OFF WITH Seijin Mo-do Houmen - [Sage Mode Release: Poison Spit] . IT IS A GREAT STARTER, ONCE YOU GET THIS DOWN WE WILL CONTINUE." He rumbled as Zephiroth looks at the technique's description in the scroll. Zephiroth then puts it down and begins to focus on his chakra, particularly the natural chakra that he has gathered so he could perform the jutsu.

Once he started to concentrate on the chakra the Elder spoke up. "NOW, TO PREFORM THIS YOU MUST FOCUS ON THE NATURAL CHAKRA IN YOUR STOMACH AND MOVE IT UP TO YOUR MOUTH. ONCE YOU DONE THAT YOU SPIT IT ON THE GROUND. IT WILL CREATE A POISONOUS GAS, WHICH WHILE IN THIS STAGE YOU'RE PROTECTED AGAINST IT" Zephiroth nods and started focusing on the chakra in his stomach, which is starting to move around in him. Once he began to focus it he started to channel it up his throat

Zephiroth got it up to his mouth and then spat onto the ground. Unfortunately it was nothing more then a glob of spit. The Elder tapped his head on Zephiroth's head. "DO IT AGAIN, AND THIS TIME CONCENTRATE MORE ON YOUR CHAKRA AND CARRY IT OUT ALL THE WAY TO WHEN YOU SPIT IT OUT OF YOUR MOUTH." Zephiroth nods and goes once more. "Elder, once I get all of these techniques down I will be capable of crushing my opponents aot easier?"
