Nah, I never considered HOD antisubtext. Everything was done because of 1 the plan to send Lucifer to Hell and 2 because of the evil.

Wasn't there a moment in like season three where some Xena banter had her actually say "I like men... they're etc." I can't remember what the etc. was. I used to watch it with Ehmi and we'd drink and count how many times Xena and Gabby had better chemistry than anyone else.
Oh, except maybe Aries. Kinda.
