She didn't do much, slipped on her boots and tucked in her tunic, pulling on a belt. Capes and weapons and such left behind in her room. The air was nice to get out into, as was the nature in general as it held a certain serene quality to it that couldn't be found inside the place. A look to him as he mentioned annual things. "I don't think so. It upsets Nillrik sometimes."
"I don't intend to let him wallow...it wouldn't hurt so much if they weren't fighting. But at the same time, I know that's how he expressed his love for his son. He was hard on Kieran on purpose because he loved him and wanted him to do right." Shaking her head lightly and coming over to crouch near Elaria's chair. "He probably knows, but he should hear it too. You've lived thousands of years...another few of those alone I can't imagine too pleasant. You know you don't have to worry about Kieran, he has me. And yes, I am going to marry him, no worries about that."
Lark pretty much said what they were all thinking and he was quiet in response to it. Because she was right and he knew he was being selfish but he couldn't help himself. "The waiting is the hard part."
The soft tinkling of bells went off as he jostled her bracelet lightly as he was playing with her sleeve. "You mean those that are focused on their pride and joy princess? But I don't think he wants to hear anything from anyone who's not close. Everyone knew the disagreements between those two, he probably thinks everyone suspects he had a hand in his father's death as well."

"But I can't leave him if I know he still blames himself or won't be alright. Then he'll not be a proper husband to you or father to Lharika or Piper and I can't have that. We've made so many mistakes...said so many things wrong. It is only in your old age you realize how little you really knew..." Shaking her head. "And still know..." She went quiet for a moment, staring out the window then patted Fianna's hand where it rested on the arm. "I'll tell him, my dear. Somehow."
"For all of us." Shaking her head and then sighing as she went back to her meal. Being with people really meant nothing right now. She was mostly short worded and blunt.
"She is a beautiful little girl." Perhaps that plan wasn't the best but he was scrambling and things weren't really gelling too well right now. Story of his life, actually. "That's where his real guilt lies. It's in his mother's feelings towards him but also what everyone else thinks. Same thing that happened when Fianna shot him."

"Ah, I see. Well it's alright then, but I guess he wouldn't mind me going in there and getting knocked around for the sake of things huh?" A small chuckle to that as they kept on walking. Still Galesen couldn't wait for the tournament, it had only started about six years ago but it was seen as a great event for all the races on Andal. Galesen had gone into the tournaments with gusto ever since they started and did well, though there were times where he was defeated none the less. "Well I wonder how the tournament will be held this year, I heard that Torea was suppose to hold it." A pause though before he turned to Isle and watched her for a moment. "How are you holding up? I haven't seen you since the funeral."

"Kieran just needs his reassurances. He can't live like this forever, let alone run a kingdom. It also doesn't help that...well Kieran was looking forward to his father watching him step off the throne and step fully into my life. Yes, just to prove his point on how he had always intended to be with me, silly as men may be to have to do such things. I'm sure he feels a bit guilty over that, call it divine punishment if you will of the event never to happen now." Brushing the back of her hand affectionately over the other woman's cheek in a gesture of comfort. "Will you be alright? I'm going to contact Glynnic, I think Lharika could use him close right now."
He knew exactly why Lhairka was upset and angry too, but he also knew that she didn't want to rehash her feelings over such things as they had before. Thusly it was falling back into silence with her, both poking their food rather than eating.
"The problem with being a royal, sometimes the whole plane looks to you and its usually at those times that you want nothing more than to disappear from everyone's sights." Pressing a kiss to his jaw with a sigh. "It'll work out, love. Things always do. Just have to keep at them till they change."
"No, he thinks it funny when you want to go bash yourself up." Which was amusing but that was how Nillrik was, protective of his mother and his mother only and everyone else was fair game. "I'm sure Master Tyyrael will make a grand event of it, since he'd be hosting then." Quietly walking before he stopped so she did too, blinking at him. "Yeah, it's been busy. So much to do and no one to do it all. I'm surviving. I mean, Ahkallyn wasn't my grandfather, but he was close."

Galesen had to laugh a bit, Nillrik was always saying how he found it funny people would put themselves in harms way just to win a title. "I can see him in the stands cheering the other guy to beat me up." Though he gave a small nod of how Tyyrael might host the game, he did it the same way last time so Galesen wouldn't be too surprised if he did it again. When Isle looked at him Galesen felt a little off, still feeling that tingle but not as much now. "I see, I'm sorry this is the first time I've ever, well, been around when another elf has died. I never really had any deep connections with him so I don't feel the same lost as you or anyone else does. I do feel bad for him passing, it must hurt Kieran and his mother, to loose someone very close, it can be such a great blow." A small sigh from Galesen before he smiled a little. "I can see Tyyrael honoring the tournament to Ahkallyn though, that man was opposed to it but I saw him there watching them with some form of amusement."

"Those two were forever trying to prove things to the other one. Ahkallyn felt like he'd failed Kieran in some way, not prepared him enough for the path ahead or told him enough to help him rule. And Kieran...he's always been so torn all of his life. First about the way things were with the Obsidians, then about you, and Piper. Just so many things..." But now was not the time to talk of such things. "Of course, dear. I'm just going to sit here and try not to remember. Both of them need to focus on something else right now. Or someone else."
"Now you sound like Kieran." Work at them until they change. Change is good. He could practically see Kieran standing in front of him saying such things. "And in the meantime, you and I run the kingdom." Nibbling on her ear gently and deriving comfort from just having her there in his arms.

"Unfortunately that's how things seem to fall into place as well. Kieran's never been one for the stanard way of things. It's part of his charm." Making sure Elaria was settled though, she left the woman to herself and went to find someplace quiet to call Glynnic.
"Someone has to." Giggling softly as he took his own affection and comfort from her, knowing that he needed it just as much as anyone else did right now. "It's kind of exciting isn't it? Getting to be the head of everything. But no worries, I'm sure once all is back to normal that Kieran will be sending you on an extended vacation."
"He probably would." Shrugging lightly and merely taking in the calming atmosphere of the place. A blink at him though, nodding lightly as his odd human nature poked it's head out so to speak. "An elf dying is always a matter that tugs at many a heart, connected or nor. Those with bonds feel it even deeper, like losing a part of yourself. I suspect we'll be having another funeral soon enough." Isle already made peace with that fact. As much as she wasn't big on relationships and marriage and all, she still understood hwo it all went. "No, he won't. It is not something that needs to be glorified."

She stayed until she couldn't stand being in the same room with people anymore. She hadn't eaten enough to classify as a full meal but her stomach was no longer growling so she considered it done. Nothing was going well right now, anyway. She wandered into the library, hidden in the east wing of the castle and plopped down on the window seat, gazing out the window. It wasn't the Farhian mountains that she focused her eyes on but the distant sky. So empty, so blissfully unmoved. So stoic.
"Watching you be Queen? Of course it is, although I get to see that everyday. At least in my own personal castle." He kept her in his lap as he scribbled an answer down on a few things and then nodded. "Which I'll probably turn down because things get so crazy around here and he always needs me."

"Then he tell me he was actually rooting for me instead." Nillrik, what a kid. Galesen then nodded to Isle as she sort of explained how it all was, though when she mentioned that someone else might be dying Galesen just looked at her for a moment before it settled in his head. "Ah, I see. Well if it were to happen then it does, it be sad really, but it is not like we can prevent it if it all goes down that route." A small sigh from him as they continued to walk, and he indeed gave a nod to her saying that Tyyrael would keep things simple for the tournament. "Yeah, things will be stressful enough when it beings. There would be no need to add anything else that could bum out a crowd."

It didn't take him at long to get over to Lucana via a Zephyr that moment he was done speaking with Fianna. He didn't have to search long for her either, the tell tale tug of infantile but still existant bondings telling him where to go without having to disturb anyone else. The quiet of the place was disturbing to say the least. Entering quietly into the room, he walked over and watched her a moment before he sat on the window seat behind her, lacing his arms around her waist and pressing a kiss to her shoulder. She felt so thin...it was worrisome. "It's a beautiful view."
"This is true. But I like being your queen and not that of everyone in Lucana. The intimacy is exquisite." Watching him do his best friend's work to keep some of it at bay. Frankly she was surprised people were still sending him things, knowing he was probably still grieving. But she supposed business was something that didn't stop in the face of death, just like time. "But we haven't have a vacation in a while."
Fianna wandered about the halls now, making sure everything was running well and giving those that wanted time to themselves, indeed to themselves. But a blink as she was brought a letter, apparently from Malik. That made her blink as she wasn't expecting anything from him. Opening it with her thumb nail she unfolded the letter and read over it...that was indeed worrisome...knowing she wasn't going to be able to get too much out of Kieran, she made her way to his office where Lateef had been left. "Oh...I didn't know you two were spending some time together."
"That's merely the way of things. Elves often do die in pairs when they're not on the battlefield." That was just the way of things and while everyone knew it and was particularly used to it, it still hurt to know one usually followed the other. "Well, I'm sure any bum feelings they would be feeling you could remedy, what with your antics."

"Yup, still it's really sad to know that that's how things turn out." A small sigh from Galesen and he paused as he closed his eyes, he never seen anything like this back in Twilight so it was totally unsettling for him. But then a smile appeared on his face as he opened one eye and looked at Isle. "Now what do you mean by my antics? I fight just like any other person. Unless all this time I've been mocked at by the people in the crowds hm?"

Something in the back of her mind alerted her to the fact that he was there, but that didn't stop her from startling at the sudden contact. She blinked, moving away slightly when her shoulder was touched. Then, realizing it was him, she leaned back against him and resumed staring at nothing. "Hmm? Oh, yes. Beautiful."
As if reading her mind, he pressed a kiss to her shoulder. "These came in before it went public." It was true that nothing but encouragement and condolences were coming in now, but he didn't think Kieran could really handle those right now so he hadn't been delivering them. "If you want to take one, I will. You usually have to drag me out on them anyway." His gaze slid over to Fianna and he shifted his wife on his lap then shook his head. "Caprice is just keeping me company. Do you need some help with something, Fianna?"

He smiled lightly as she leaned back into him, quite afraid she wanted to be even more distant than she had seemed lately. She didn't look well at all, and he was understanding of it truly he was but at the same time, he worried more about her than others did save for perhaps her parents. "I've missed you." Pressing another kiss to her shoulder, not asking that redundant 'how are you feeling' question that she probably didn't want to talk about anyway.
A little nod as he solved the puzzle in her head with a simple sentence. She offered him a smile however as well as a nuzzle in his agreement. "Just a short one, I promise. I wouldn't drag you off too far." Turning her attention over to Fianna as well with a light smile. "You know the men, they have to be distracted."
Fianna gave them both what smile she could muster before walking into the room, giving it a once over as if looking to see which habits Kieran was indulging in before she waved the letter at them. "I got a letter from Malik and I wanted your opinion on something. Seems Piper's been all flushed and giggly for six going on seven months straight without a break. Ever heard of that before?" Her expression clearly saying that this wasn't something she could talk to about Kieran right now. If he suspected something was wrong with Piper, it would make him worse.
"You always fight with a certain flare when you're not fighting for your life. Especially when it comes to magics. People like it." Shrugging lightly at the simplicity of the matter. "There's always going to be someone who mocks you though anyway, so you might as well not mind it at all."

Galesen cocked an eyebrow and looked at Isle with both eyes now and smiled a little. "Really? Is that so? Been watching me pretty closely haven't you?" A small chuckle before he ran a hand through his hair and sighed. "It just seems natural when I use my magics, I don't try and put any twists on them or anything. And for the past while...I've been getting stronger when it comes to my magic. I've been practicing but lately I've noticed that my overall energy use has been increasing." Though he looked at her again and he placed his hands on his hips. "Well Tempest, you got me thinking about it, can't help it." Though he went behind her and reached for her hands, slipping his fingers in between hers. "But you, you have a certain way when it comes to your magic as well." Raising her hands as he stood there with her, some times he place his fingers on her own and bend them a little as if he was practicing. "You are good at what you do, it's just...interesting to watch you Tempest."

She didn't return his affection and barely even recognized that it was being given to her. Everything was different now...she was in a world that no longer made sense. "You aren't supposed to be here, Glynnic. I told you to stay and handle that problem."
"Then I'll let you." Back to Fianna and he frowned at the news, gently picking Caprice up and setting her on her feet as he stood and walked over to Kieran's large library of scrolls and books. "Maybe there's something in here about it happening to another elf. I know I've never heard of any cases where it went on continuously for that long. I did know a woman who went through many episodes of it during that long of a period but it wasn't all the time. It stopped when she got pregnant."
