Legion laughed, "Do not duel words with the devil, if you recall I said you get 24 hours to find the stone, but finding your friend is optional, will you abandon him to save your own souls? Or try to save him and doom all of you? Or perhaps, by some chance, you will all survive."

A soul was rapidly trying to escape from some demons trying to put it into one of the pits.
Miaka could sense who it was. She drew her sword and ran after the demons.

"La--Miaka, please wait for us!" Mithos stopped himself from calling her 'lady' as he quickly spread his wings and flew after her with Nebilim doing the same, weighted down by Nerd's body.
