I can't speak for any English voice actors. I don't know any.
You're right, Lim, Raito would need to be able to do psyco maniac... as well as smart teenager.
Though I don't really think it would be really hard to pull off. Somehow I see him with a deepish voice, so he sounds a little older than he is. Also a voice that sounds extremly genuine (Raito, you two-faced...). I can imagine how scary Raito could be if he sounded totally innocent.
Raito: "Theres an FBI agent dying outside this train! eek (Gosh, I wonder why?)"

LimOfFragReality I don't know the names of any voice actors I'm afraid... 'cause I just don't care about knowing them, really >.>;; thats why I gave links to some of the voices. sad I also explained the types of voices... I just see young Sayu sounding cute. I mean she conciders herself to be the cute type so I imagine she'd make herself sound that way. Cute isn't really a natural tone, after all. I imagine her having a very soft voice when she become older. Though we don't get much older Sayu in the manga. I'd imagine the anime would show a little more of her. Imagine a soft cheerfull voice talking to Matsuda. then a soft and tired voice could sound heartbreaking for after the [white] kidnapping incident[/white] <----- (spoil from chapter 70)

(Spoilers for chapter 60 in white - though most people have read far beyond that)
Hm, as anime series do quirky little new details. I thought of an idea.
We know that [white]Matsuda is attracted to Sayu when he sees her in chapter 60. He says he hasn't seen her since she was really small. Oh and also notice we don't see Matsuda doing work with the others at times. I was thinking it would be cute if Matsuda somtimes got landed with the job of babysitting Sayu (Director Yagami: this is for the team). Sure, he'd find it really boring. Though it would create some amusing history for Matsu and Sayu[/white]
hm, does anybody else have any ideas of what could/should be added?

I find they ruined the characters (especially BlackArachnia), but my sis has all three seasons of Beast Wars on DVD... So I could always just pop those into my DVD player and watch it...

Heh... me and my friend discussed this recently as well. Of course, for some odd reason, she was hellbent on the idea of the anime having yaoi in it.... so... there was some shouting going on. heh

Nail=-=Bunny I would kill to see Death Note as an anime. Heh... me and my friend discussed this recently as well. Of course, for some odd reason, she was hellbent on the idea of the anime having yaoi in it.... so... there was some shouting going on. heh Even though I like yaoi... Death Note yaoi... I wouldn't like it in the anime or manga. It would take away from it if there were any real romance in it other then Misamisa's obsessive love for Raito.

I honestly don't think Death Note should be an anime, but if it were I definately agree with Keiji Fujiwara playing Matsuda... (I'm partial to Fujiwara because he did a wonderful job with Maes Hughes.)
