well let's see... i personally know palestinians who think hamas is the worst thing to ever happen to them, so i think there's something to the whole "hamas=bad" thing. if they actually wanted peace, they could have had it long ago. instead, hamas wants to destroy israel. there have been numerous cases where the israelis have launched raids on hamas, and they have phoned the palestinians living in the neighbourhood and told them "we're coming in, you've got an hour to get out." rather than getting out, hamas FORCED people to stay, in order to blame their deaths on the israelis. hamas hides weapons in schools so that when the israelis destroy the school, they look bad and hamas looks good. these are documented occurrences, not just israeli propaganda. i mean, for ******** sake, egypt HATES israel, and the egyptians closed their borders to and started firing on members of hamas who were trying to cross over into egypt for safety. if the egyptians are doing that, there must be some legitimacy to the claims that hamas=bad. talk2hand

how am i mad? it's actually feasible that, here in america, fascism could take off and enter into our political mainstream. communism will never enter the political mainstream here in america. thus, i'd rather talk to a communist than a fascism. i'm not condoning either, but (at least where i live) communism is less of a threat.

no, the koreas aren't. kim jong-il is just as bad. when famine struck north korea, many countries independently offered help, as did the UN. kim jong-il refused the help, instead telling his citizens to eat grass, while he continued to live in luxury. and you know those WMDs they never found in iraq? well they DID find documented evidence that north korea had agreed to sell saddam hussein weapons grade plutonium, but then backed out of the deal. this was not reported because the american news systems didn't want to admit that there may actually have been reason to consider iraq a threat.

and PLEASE don't mention venezuela. i'm tired of people bringing up venezuela - yes chavez was elected with a 60% majority of votes in the last election, but LESS THAN 15% OF THE POPULATION ACTUALLY VOTED! that is not a legitimate election. in addition, members of opposition parties who actually gain a little power have a bad habit of disappearing in venezuela. no, i dont think we should go bomb the s**t out of venezuela, but chavez is NOT the good guy that so many college students seem to think he is.
