heart I want to enter BHG's Valentine's Day Writng & Poetry Contest! I would like to submit this:
I never thought I would find my one true love
A gift like you is surely sent from above
As I walked this road called life and the many paths it took me through
From butterflys in my stomach to the pain of heartbreak
It finally took me to you
I had almost given up, thinking everyone was just the same
From damaging heartbreaks to playing the most childish games
But you came along just like the wind!
Fast and stong, yet gentle and calm
No games played, only growing love every waking day
My heart smiles whenever I think about our future and what it brings
Disagreements, much laughter and many delightful things
A new house, a firstborn child, growing up and growing old
This true love felt in my soul I never thought I could behold
heart
